:+: Fine after rain :+:

I know yesterday I said that I will be going for Astreal's gig which's taking place tonight at Esplanade's Recital Studio but now I'm not going for it because I have been battling a thigh muscle injury for the past few days & it got worst last night so I don't think I'll be going for it which's taking place later on .

I had trouble walking for the past few days & it's not funny to begin with . I did put some medical plasters last night & the pain seems to ease for now but if the situation doesn't improve , I better go & see a doctor to get proper treatment .

Looks like I wouldn't be going for the IT fair that's currently taking place in Expo . As much as I want to go , I think better not as I have a feeling that it will be super crowded & also should I decide to go for it , what if the camera that I'm eyeing to buy , doesn't have the colour I want which's pastel pink so I think I will wait for a while before the price drops .

Am thinking of getting another piercing once I'm done with exams but not sure if I'm willing to withstand the pain in getting another piercing again .

Astreal's gonna perform tomorrow night at Esplanade's Recital Studio . It's something that I have been waiting for like the longest time ever . However last night I had 2nd thoughts not to go for it simply because ... I don't know . I think it's 1 of those moments again & I realise that I'm unusually moody during rainy days .

But the show must go on for me especially since I bought my tickets like a month & a 1/2 ago so all the more I better go for it even though somewhat I don't feel like going for it .

Maybe because exams are looming around the corner for me or the fact that my interest in supporting/listening to to local music's somewhat diminishing bit by bit as now , I'm focusing more on listening & studying the J pop market by each day goes by .

I probably will still help out in the local music scene but not as giving as before . Giving's a lousy word to use but I can't think of any good words to substitute in here at the moment .

I'm a bit upset at Sony BMG S'pore because I called them eariler to enquire whether do they have any plans to release abingdon boys school's self titled album in here & the odd thing's that the people over the line who I spoke to said that they don't have abs in their catalog & I thought that abs's under Epic Records which's a sub-label of Sony Music Entertainment so what gives ?

I want to buy abs's album but yet there're no plans for Sony BMG to distribute the album locally in S'pore so dammit . Thank goodness I managed to download the album via the net .

Well I could buy the album which's imported straight from Japan via HMV but it will set me for S$72 which's crazy & HMV doesn't import CD + DVD versions of artistes from Japan , only the CD edition itself :(

So I guess it's either wait for news that abs's album will hopefully be released in here in due time or I just settle with what I downloaded from the net . Then again I never liked calling Sony BMG in the 1st place .

I was reading the papers today & I saw that there's gonna be another IT fair that will be taking place from this Thurs til Sun at Expo .

I'm not sure if I want to go for it as to make a trip down to Expo from my house , it might probably take forever just to get there & it doesn't mean that when I get there , I'll be able to find what I've looking for in which this case it's a Panasonic LUMIX camera .

I'm still pondering on whether is it really necessary if I were to buy the camera now during the IT fair or just wait for it til the price drops or I just go & buy it after I'm done with exams as I'm still in the midst of preparing for my exams . Well trying to prepare for it .

I haven't really done anything productive for the past 3 days & it's stupid & terrible on my part . To vegetate at home's a 1 thing but to do that when exams are looming around the corner that's another .

I don't know , there's still time before I can make a decision whether to get the LUMIX camera during the IT fair itself or I just wait for the price to drop or I just get it next week after I'm done with exams . Sure I have a phone that has a great Cybershot camera attached to it but how much you can snap a pic with just a 3.2pixel slapped to it ?

Decision , decision , decision .

Wow finally more or less I have wrapped things up for my 1st trimester in Uni . Scary how time files if you ask me .

But it doesn't mean that I'm resting & partying up a storm . Not just yet . In 2 weeks time maybe as next week , it's my study week aka I have to make use of the time that I was given to study for my exams . Hopefully I'll be able to utilise & make full use of it to study & revise for the exams even though I have a feeling that I will always leave it to the last min . Tsk so me .

I'm definitely looking forward to the after effects of exams aka holidays woo where I will spend the time to vegetate at home ... sorta but aside from that , I'm looking forward to see Yee Ma as she's coming back home from Korea & the whole family will be throwing her an early birthday celebration dinner on 8th Dec .

Gonna watch Miami Ink later on tonight .

I have been reading many blogs on the net for the past few days in which most of them are private blogs that're hosted on blogger.com & I know 1 or 2 who decided to delete their blogs for a no. of reasons .

It led me to think whether should I follow suit or maybe just delete this blog like totally or just put this on hiatus as honestly speaking for the past few days , I have been experiencing an unusual case of writer's block when comes to writing issues in here as compared to my other blog which's a music blog where these days I seem to have a lot to write with regards to music .

I still don't know whether should I concentrate in writing more in my music blog as it's a chore to juggle 2 blogs at the same time as to me music's something that I have a lot to write & talk about so probably at the moment , I will focus more in updating my music blog as there're lots of great stuff currently out there that the radio stations in S'pore doesn't pick up which's quite a pity .

Maybe I will only update my main blog only once a week or something but we'll see . Plans are still tentative at this point in time .

Just when I thought less health problems will arise , more came by again . So what's new ?

I had sore eyes for the past few days which's nothing new to me . And also I pulled a thigh muscle at the right side of my body which's something that I never experienced & I hope this will be the 1st & last thigh muscle that I pulled . I had a bit of difficulty walking around for the past few days . Got kinda fed up so I decided to seek treatment from the doctor this morning .

Everyone in my family's starting to fall sick again . My dad has been coughing & sneezing as of this moment . I think he got the bug from Hui Lin again as she was the 1st one who started all of this rollercoaster ride once more . I have a feeling that I will be next in line to fall sick all over again .

Eariler on when I was listening to 987's The Shan & Roz Show , they relied an interesting & exciting piece of news in which Simple Plan will be coming back to S'pore real soon for a 2 day visit & not only that , they will be doing 987 Stripped on 27th Nov , Tue at Laselle (why Laselle of all places ??? ) .

Woah oh woah , great stuff & if you ask me , it's good to have Simple Plan back after they have been on hiatus for so long & 987 has finally picked up the 1st single When I'm Gone from SP's upcoming 3rd still untitled album but as to whether will be going for 987 Stripped this time round , I'm not sure .

As much as I want to , how am I gonna win tickets this time round ? It's not gonna be easy but I have a feeling that this time round , the 987 Stripped session with SP will be an acoustic . Then again , maybe or maybe not .

Man I couldn't believe this . On my way back home after buying lunch from Cold Storage , by chance I bumped into 1 of my ex secondary school classmate Kai Yun at the bus stop just as I was about to head up the overhead bridge .

Talk about a small world & I didn't expect that I would have met Kai Yun again ever since I left secondary school & the fact that she still can recognise me after so long , that's something & if that didn't happened eariler , I would have probably just walked past her just like that .

She hasn't changed much since the last time I saw her , aside from the fact that her hair's longer now & she wears black specs too .

In fact I was kinda shocked when she called out my name & somemore she commented that she almost couldn't recognise me as I have changed a lot since the last time I saw her but it's cool that I managed to cross paths with her . We have since exchanged phone & MSN contacts & if you ask me , we'll have a lot of catching up to do & I'm talking about 4 years worth of it .

Usually , I will reach school early , probably a few mins or so before the lecture or tutorial starts but I was almost 15 mins late this morning as I overslept , missed 2 buses ... you get the drift but bottomline's that I did not catch enough sleep in which tonight I will be turning in early .

Thank goodness when I arrived at school for my Econs tutorial , my lecturer has not started teaching yet . In fact there were people who were even later than me but I try to make this a habit .

Maybe I should set aside a time limit as to by what time I should be in bed if that's the case as I realised that I have not been sleeping enough for the past few days & it's not doing me any good in any single bit .

I was trying to keep myself awake for the 2 tutorials that I attended this morning & it was daunting to keep slapping myself on the face in a bid way to prevent myself from falling asleep .

I remembered I only fall asleep in my Pri school days & it was quite funny . I don't actually remembered how long I slept during that period but I think I count myself lucky for not getting detention for committing that offense !

I realised that there're many gigs that're about to take place like eg. tomorrow Deafcon 7's taking place . Next Tue , 1 of my fave rock band Linkin Park's stopping by S'pore to perform for the 2nd time at the Indoor Stadium . The last time they were in S'pore , it was 2004 & they played at the big Padang field .

Next Sat , LIME Sonic Bang will be held at Sentosa , Siloso Beach unlike previous years where it was held at *scape . Not to forget , the 7th installment of ZoukOut that will be taking place on 2nd Dec at Sentosa , Siloso Beach too .

& last but not least next month , My Chemical Romance live & loud at the Max Pavilion on 11th Dec , Tue in which by the way it will be their maiden concert in S'pore as part of The Black Parade tour to promote their record titled well The Black Parade .

But I just wonder whether will there be any local acts that will be opening for MCR & LP respectively . Not sure about that .

I saw that Muse's gonna be coming back to Asia to perform but they're only stopping by Bangkok on 28th this month which's a Wed . I was kinda bummed when I found out about it as I remembered Muse was saying that they will be coming back to Asia to perform but I didn't expect that they only will be performing at Bangkok this time round .

If I could , I definitely would love to go & fly to Bangkok & catch them perform but obviously my parents wouldn't allow me to do that .

Right I think I better crash early for the night if that's the case .

I went back to my maternal grandma's house yesterday for dinner . Everyone at my maternal side went back as well aside from my family . Honestly I missed all of these family gatherings where it used to be a norm when I was a kid .

These family gatherings seem to be getting lesser & lesser every year & it's no surprises since everyone now has his/her own things to do so I'm sure my maternal grandma was really happy when everyone decided to go back for dinner . + I missed her cooking too .

I didn't ate much last night as I was more focused in watching the shows that my mum's 2nd aunt has helped me to record as I didn't had the time to watch them so for the longest time , like finally I managed to get that cleared outta the way but 1 thing's for sure , my maternal grandma's pork chops's still the best that I have ate .

& my mum's right in that it's not the food that matters but rather it's the family & company that matters . Sure the food that's being served whenever I head back to my paternal grandparents's not that great so to speak but as what my mum put it , going back to my maternal/paternal grandparents's house's to see my grandparents as you never know when will they slip away as they're getting older by the min & I don't want to make a mistake where I will regret the day when they're gone for good & that's something that the late Wayne Thunder Seah taught me in that to cherish the people around you because once they're not around , they're not around for good & by that time , it might be too late .

Wow , I has been so tied up with Uni work I haven't had the time to update my blog & at this rate , I think I probably can update it via the weekend now judging from how much Uni work & revision I have to do every week .

So let me see & recalled as to what I want to talk about as to what has happened for the past few days if that's the case .... ok here we go . On Tue night , my boys & girl Electrico played a show at Barfly @ The Cannery (which's located just next door of MOS) in conjunction to celebrate Halloween & then some .

They played alongside with Aust bands such as Mary Trembles , Intercooler & also another band called The London Fog . From what I know , Electrico took the stage at Barfly around 10.30pm or so & nope I didn't went for it as I have school the next day . + I figured if I were to go for it despite Dan writing down Hui Li & my name on the guestlist , I will lose out on sleep like big time just like what happened when I stayed out late last Thurs so I took a pass this time round .

If not for the fact that their gig was held on a weekday & that they played 3 new songs (yes 3 !) on that day , I would have headed to Barfly on Tue seeing that I haven't seen the guys & girl for a while . It just clash with my schedule that's all + I'm not someone who has a habit of staying out so late at night especially if it's a weekday cum school day but Dan was understanding about my situation & there's always next time to catch them in performance as long as the timing , venue & date's ok with me !

From what I know from Des , they did Teenage Queen , Love In New Wave , Walk & of course the 3 new songs in which I'm sure it will definitely appear in their upcoming 3rd album .

2 of the songs are untitled as of yet while the other's Shadow . I remembered when I went for their previous gig in conjunction with Sony Ericsson Traffic Jam Party , they 1st did that song & it's a great track . I look forward to hear it on record .

Whereas today's happenings was that I finally know my test results pertaining to my 1st & last Accounts quiz test + my long overdue 1st Econs test & I'm pleased with both grades to say the least .

For my Econs , I did OK & considering the fact that the paper was really tricky & difficult , I should give myself a pat in the back for able to score . Well I tried but ah well , at least it's a pass while for my Accounts , I'm pleased as punch & it's a High Distinction grade that I obtained which of course that definitely doesn't go wrong in any bit !

I found out that Cartoon Network's gonna repeat The Batman & Ben 10 starting from next Tue & Wed respectively aka CN's gonna aired season 1 of both shows AGAIN which's terrible . It's basically like a rewind of everything that I have watched . Why can't they just go forward instead of backward & needless to say I'm quite pissed which means that I got practically no TV shows to watch starting from next week onwards .

Well there's always TRL on MTV :)
