I caught 5 Things You Don't Need To Know About The Click Five this afternoon on MTV since they're Buzzworthy Artiste for the month of Sept & hahaha what a bunch of rather useless facts that the guys had dished out .
For the benefit of the doubt , I will put the facts down 1 by 1 . In fact since there're 5 facts , each fact refers to each member of Click Five so here goes nothing .

Man it's not called 5 Things You Don't Need To Know About Click Five for nothing ! I think the facts relating to Kyle & Ben are hilarious but er I definitely don't need to know that Kyle doesn't believe in underwear while Ben's hairy & sorry Joe , you're not Keith Richard .
As for the definition of extreme in Joey's case , I have no idea man .

Been a bit of a TV addict lately & 1 of the shows that I'm currently addicted & obsessed with's Miami Ink which's airing every weekday at night from 11pm - midnight on cable TV & it's all Hui Li's fault , got me addicted to the show .
Miami Ink's an interesting show I have to admit , it brought me to understand that a tattoo's not just a tattoo . You get normal people stepping into the tattoo shop with them wanting to get inked by the guys & each tattoo tells a story & a lot of them symbolise different things for different people .
It's a cool show & I never thought that I would be interested in Miami Ink now . Before that , I would scoff at it thinking that oh a tattoo's just that & it opened me eyes to the world of tattoos & some of the designs that the guys have come up with are art & I especially like the Japanese tattoos , they're gorgeous !
My mum doesn't like watching it though but for me I'm cool with it but it doesn't mean that I will be getting a tattoo as the thought of me getting inked aka getting a permanent stamp on my body's something that's a bit hard for me to swallow & I'm afraid of needles too so getting 1's outta the question for me but I don't mind temporary ones of course .
I think other than TV , music's the other thing that's keeping me sane . I bought Koda Kumi's BEST ~second session~ over the weekend & it's a great CD . There were no stock left in HMV so I had to go to Sembawang to get a copy instead . Now I understand why BEST ~second session~ slapped with an M18 rating sticker unlike her latest album Black Cherry which has a PG rating on the album .
It's not because of the CD sleeve pics in BEST ~second session~ although I think that probably played a part in the whole M18 rating but it's the videos ! Way before I got hold of the album , I downloaded all 12 videos as BEST ~second session~ comprises of all the songs that she released , a project known as the ~12 singles collection~ ie. she released 12 singles for 12 consecutive weeks & my my , some of them are pretty steamy in which 4 videos strings together a drama show in which they're you , Lies , feel & Someday which stars Koda & 3 really hot Japanese actors .
I think it's the drama cum videos which attributed to the fact as to why BEST ~second session~ got slapped with an M18 rating . In fact when I was watching the drama & trying to interpret as to what the actors & Koda were talking about , I thought I was watching an M18 movie . It's up there like iterally !
But the rest of the videos are great as evident in Birthday Eve , WIND (Professor Koda Kumi , nice job title) , Candy (the big dragon's cool) but I was disappointed with the videos of No Regret , Shake It Up & KAMEN .
I wouldn't say that I'm totally disappointed with Shake It Up as I really like the song but I thought it's a weird video but the video that takes weirdness to a whole new level's Imasugu hoshii in which in the video , it centres around guys auctioning themselves for sale ?? Erm.... ok . The video's funny but I like the song although I heard stuff that the lyrics are something .
I'm in the process of trying to pick up the pieces & rebuild my life again but I'm just thankful for the existence of TV & Music to keep me sane , especially the latter . I really don't know what I do without it .

A brand new week for me . After going though so much during the past 3 weeks , my parents & I discussed on what I went though on Fri & decided on an option which will make me feel much better at ease , a decision in which it will take me a much longer time to complete my degree in which I don't mind as long as I don't rush into things at the expense of my sanity & I felt sorry for my parents having to bore the blunt of what I went though & am grateful for their support & not to mention the support of the people whom I know as well .
I'm going to get my life back on track & for starters , to get back into shape & maybe draft up a fitness plan to fit into my Uni schedule as I realise that I'm in really bad shape now & not to mention I put back some of the weight I lost during the holidays due to the fact that I was overeating like crazy for the past week . My weight fluctates like crazy so I think it's time for me to put my foot into this matter .
It's not going to be easy I have to admit but I have battled my inner demons for as long as I can remember so I'm sure I'll be able to win this battle again . My bolt of depression came late for this year as I usually will experience a string of depression spells during March-May with last year being the worst of the kind that I had gone though so techincally I have grown up real fast . Probably way too fast .
But I'm sure with the help & support from people that I know & cherished , I'll be able to get there !

Want to welcome another pal of mine into the 20s club in the form of Su-Hanna . Happy bday Su ! I think more or less the circle of friends whom I know , are all aged 20 & above now which's cool .
I bought my latest copy of Aust Girlfriend today after school & 1 of the articles that I came across was something very interesting in that it centres around 3 teens , 2 guys & a girl who're gay/lesbian but yet they decide to tell the truth to their loved ones about it & after doing that , they are very happy & are better in spirits .
For me , I have nothing against people whose sexual orientation are different from the norm ie. people who're straight cos I personally know a person or 2 who falls in the gay/bi category cos at the end of the day , they're just like you & me except their sexual orientation/preference are different .
What icks the hell outta me's well educated people do discriminate such people & the worst thing's that these idiots can hold very respectable highly regarded jobs . I came across such blog entries on the net & 1 of the blog authors was a lawyer . Can you believe it , a lawyer of all occupations & if you ask me I think this matter's probably worst than racial discrimination & it's sickening to know such a thing does exist & it's sad & that lawyer should be shot with the disgusting remarks that he made in his blog . Too bad I don't have the link or else I will glady post it up on here & let everyone see what type of shit he wrote .
I also came across another idiot who wrote to the Straits Times a while back & her salutation's Dr. & she wrote her views against homosexuality & that the government should not allow certain gay events/festivals to be staged here . For fuck sake , why can't such events take place without getting hoo ha's from normal straight people ?
Simply put , if you don't like such people , just keep it to yourself . Why voice it out where you know that you will bound to get egged in your face , period .
Guess this goes to show that even if you're books smart/holds a very respectable job , you can be a failure in the way you think & perceive things . People once assumed that the world was round & etc or basically just to put it across , they're stuck in the stone age .
Which led me to think exactly why some people cannot accept the fact that there're other people who're different ? Why they cannot accept reality & instead kept on sending the people that they discriminate to the slammers ? where's justice in the world when you need it ?

Oh dear I'm so dead man . I think for this month's handphone bill of mine , it might go though the roof . Why ? cos I called M1 last night & they said that for every SMS that I sent to overseas , it will set me for 15 cents a pop !
GASP , I lost track on how many SMSes I have sent to my overseas friends & I think I probably might hit a peak in my handphone bill when I receive it later on this month . I hope it wouldn't hit a 100 bucks or else I will definitely get a rude shock so as of today , I have decided to stop texting my friends overseas & instead rely on 2nd best ie. email via MySpace or something else .
Last night when I was having dinner at home , I felt the tremors of an earthquake & I also felt the after shocks of it this morning in my room . Initally I was suspicious as to how come when Hui Li was shaking & rocking on the chair that she was sitting in , I could felt the shakes even though I wasn't doing that . Even the table & the lights were moving as well & everyone else felt the same thing too .
I got a bit scared cos I never experienced such an issue before & usually when you watch the news , read the papers on these sorta issues , it's usually other areas in S'pore that're affected by after shock tremors of an earthquake , such as Marine Parade & etc but it was pretty scary . Even my mum felt it last night in the office & also this morning too where it was reported that there's another earthquake which took place around the Indonesia region .
Guess this goes to show that you never know what you might experience in the near future .

I discovered the joy & wonders of having the ability to be able to text my friends overseas yesterday after I decided to take a gamble & texted Jenny & she managed to receive my text which's great !
Now at least I don't feel so drifted away from my overseas friends anymore . In the past I used to rely on MSN/email to keep in touch with them & now they're just a text away & I'm just glad that technology has made all of this possible .
Yee Ma & Bao Sui , if you happen to read this , please text me on my phone so that I can communicate with you more frequently now instead of relying on MSN to keep in touch with you guys .
& oh before I forget , happy 20th birthday Serene for which you turn a ripe old age of 20 tomorrow :)

I finally got my copies of local bands The Great Spy Experiment highly long anticipated debut album Flower Show Riots & Max Shanti's debut album From Earth To Heaven yesterday .
I haven't gave Max Shanti's a listen yet but I will do so soon but I already gave Great Spy's a shot already & I have to say it's amazing stuff & it's worth the long wait & anticipation . Even TODAY & Strait Times rated it highly with each paper giving Flower Shot Riots a very generous 4/5 .
I 1st came to know Great Spy's music when Des played Class 'A' Love Affair during 987 Home . I like what I heard which paved the way with me liking Great Spy's material . They have other great songs on the record such as Dance With Me , Flower Show Riots , Siti In The City & an updated version of Class 'A' Love Affair called Class 'A' Love Affair 2007 .
I just wonder why's that Captain Funkycurls's sorely missing on the album as that track's super catchy but it's alright but I have to say The Great Decay's very addictive & the guys & girl dedicated the album in memory/honour of the late Wayne 'Thunder' Seah . So if you like a mean mix of dancey rock music ala The Killers with a local touch , you defintitely should get Great Spy's record .
Another band I would recommend also's Max Shanti which's a sister duo consisting of Winnie & Lynette Teo & just in case you're wondering why the name Max Shanti , well it's the names of their pet dog & cat & no I'm not making this up . Their music's a nice mixture of folk/rock & they 1st caught my attention with their beautiful debut single I'll See You & the 2nd single that's currently airing now on radio's When I Get There but unlike Great Spy's record , From Earth To Heaven's only available in Sembawang , Ear Shot .
In fact I got my last copy of From Earth To Heaven at Lot 1's Sembawang so I guess their album's selling pretty well & these 2 CDs are added to my ever expanding local music CD collection .
& yup I did managed to watch the last part of High School Musical 2 which finally debuted on Disney Channel tonight & it was great to see it again for the 2nd time .

I'm done with my 2nd week in Uni & verdict ? I'm still hating it no doubt especially since I have a stupid essay that I have to do & to be submitted in less than 2 weeks's time & considering the fact that my Eng's terrible , to ask me to do an essay , you might as well slit my throat right across my face now .
I still haven't got into the whole separation of tutorial cum lecture yet . Somemore now I don't really have the time & luxury to go on the net as often as I want to which sucks & yes I do have hopes of dropping out which's like a replica on what happened last May .
I did kinda hinted to my parents yesterday & eariler today about it but they told me not to give up cos more or less , I'm already 1/2 way there or should I say 1/3 there & to give up everything now & drop things like a hot potato , it will be a big waste . They just told me to try my best & etc . I already long ago accept the fact that I will not be able to attain the kinda grades that I gotten during ITE & not to mention during my 1st year in Uni .
Friends I spoke to told me to just take things easy & go with the flow & not to mention the importance of time management too which's something I'm seriously lacking in big time .
Hopefully after the Hungry Ghost Festival wraps up on Mon , I will be back to normal of sorts .

Watched Ratatouille today after I was done with my Accounts lecture . Great movie & definitely worth every single hype of it especially since after Disney Channel has been overplaying the trailers & also behind the scenes footages of the movie to death for the past few months prior to last Thurs which it opened in cinemas in S'pore .
Not only that but before the movie started , you get to watch a short flimed called Lifted . Hilarious to the bone but of course the centre focus's on Ratatouille & if you like French cuisine/Paris/Food/Cooking , this movie's for you & judging from the amount of rave reviews that I have read , it's worth it & the story plot's really touching too & goes to show that there's more to life than just becoming the greatest chef in France but rather , it narrates that you should never to ditch the people who has gotten you to where you're at any point in your life & that you should not give up on whatever dreams/goals you want to achieve despite whatever road blocks that're stopping you .
I will definitely buy the DVD of Ratatouille once it's released & woo hoo , The Great Spy Experiment's long awaited debut album Flower Show Riots's finally out yesterday YAY .
Tough hard to crack nut Zul Othman of TODAY gave it an impressive 4/5 which's cool considering the way that he writes CD reviews every Tue in TODAY . Then again I love Great Spy's music , they're awesome in performance & no surprises that I will get my copy of Flower Show Riots in HMV . I look forward to hear other more great tracks other than the ones that I have heard already .

Last night , Sony Ericsson staged its 1st Traffic Jam Street Party at Connaught Drive & I managed to get tickets from Dan on Friday when I met up with him to collect them . Kelvin & Khairil were the lucky ones who accompanied me last night of sorts haha cos they wanted to see Electrico perform & in person for the longest time so I thought why not I do this for them before they're about to be enlisted to NS/Police .
I thought I was late when I reached City Hall MRT station but I wasn't . I 1st met Kelvin & I had to wait for Khairil . When I texted him asking him where he was , he said Simei . I got a shock cos this will mean he wouldn't reach the venue til about 1/2 hour or so & eventually I told Khairil I will meet him at Connaught Drive instead as the event was supposedly gonna start at about 6pm + , or so I thought .
I didn't really know where Connaught Drive's but after getting some directions & help from people , I managed to find the place & ahh now I know where it's . I passed by that road before cos Hui Li used to go for softball matches at the Padang & sometimes we would drive there to fetch her after her softball matches . Now I know better .
The whole road was cornered off with lots of security , barriers & the works . Insane man but the layout of the Street Party's right up there . It was really nice & I just like the whole vibe of the surroundings that was given .
By the time Kelvin & I have reached the venue , it was about 5.45pm + . The party hasn't really started so I had to wait outside for a while . Khairil didn't came til later & eariler I gave Kelvin the ticket & I did the same for Khairil or else both of them cannot enter the place .
When I was waiting outside of the road , I see or should I say hear that Electrico was doing their soundcheck cos they will be kicking off the event more or less later on & I did told them that Kelvin & Khairil will be coming along & that it was the 1st time for the both of them to see Electrico perform & post gig wise , in person too .
Everyone was let inside at about 6.15pm or so . Bags were screened/checked as security was tight & I thought the outside of the venue was breathtaking , inside was something else & the stage was wow , it was an 8 wheeler truck . Now that's a 1st !
Alcoholic & non-alocholic drinks & also foodstuff like hotdogs , ice cream were served inside but I didn't bought any of them as they were so grossly overpriced like hello you expect me to pay S$4 for a 300ml Evian mineral water bottle ? No way at all but there were free popcorn available so that will do haha
The 3 of us sat at some chairs , waiting for Electrico to take centrestage & yesterday in the early afternoon when I was talking to Caleb for a while on MSN , it poured outta nowhere man & I got worried it might rain later on at night but thankfully it didn't .
Somemore I did texted Des about what to expect for last night's gig & he told me to see a different Electrico . I was ??? when I saw that , I tried probing him further but he didn't say anything & told me to just wait & see . Asked Dan about it but his lips were sealed too grr but it's ok I was about to find out sooner or later .
Supposed to take the place at 6.45pm or so , Electrico finally came onstage at about 7.05pm or so & of course Leonard was manning the sound system & ahh now I understand the meaning of 'a different Electrico' . Why ? cos everyone except for William was wearing school uniforms , white shirts , black ties & the works !
Des really looked like a school boy man , white shirts , white shorts , he was all white like iterally except for a black tie while Dan & Dave were wearing white shirts , dark coloured pants , black ties & Amanda ? Don't get me started , she looked damn hot man & she was wearing super short shorts with stockings & a cute piano badge . Woo wee .
But anyway , Dave was calling everyone to come in front to get the party started . Amanda saw me when she was onstage & she was waving to me & I waved back to her .
I have not seen the band performed for a good 3 months or so since Rock For Wayne but I was glad that I was able to be part of the experience last night .
Everyone got the ball rolling with standard staples in the form of Walk , Electricorp. & Only Where I'm Going . The stage was a bit small to me cos William looked cramped up drumming at 1 side of the stage but it was alright . Wish I could say the same about the crowd .
I mean there were quite a lot of people but I think they weren't feeling the band's music or something or probably it's still too early by night party's standards cos later on at night , more people strolled inside the venue .
Dan was doing the whole jumping thing as usual & I got worried when I did that after what happened to him a few months ago but thank goodness nothing happened .
After the 3 songs , it was Teenage Queen (woo hoo) , Love In New Wave & then probably my fave part of last night's gig in which the band debuted a new song which I think it will be included in their upcoming 3rd album & it was the 1st time they have played this song live last night .
It's something called Shadow & it's unlike any Electrico No. that I have heard from their 2 albums . It started out slow & then mid tempo & at the end of it , it got really loud . Very cool stuff & I actually heard them doing this song during their soundcheck just now & during the gig , Des was without his glasses . I thought he put them somewhere but he actually dropped it when he was playing onstage oops .
So last night's songlist set was :
1) Walk
2) Electricorp.
3) Only Where I'm Going
4) Teenage Queen (oh yeah but of course ! I always asked them to do this song for me live whenever it's possible)
5) Love In New Wave
6) Shadow
Pretty generous for a 30 mins set or so & last night's gig was superb to me especially with the live debut of Shadow .
So after their gig finished , the 3 of us were outta the venue & walked further upfront of Connaught Drive cos I wanted to bring both Kelvin & Khairil to meet everyone in person for the 1st time .
I wanted to cross over the barriers to get to a quick shortcut but there were a lot of security & police so that didn't worked .
As I was walking outside where the backstage was located at , I saw the band's manager Marcia & surprisely she was waving at me ! I usually don't talk to her but both of us have seen each other a few times as usually she would be present when Electrico's performing in gigs but it was a nice gesture of her to signal me to come towards where she was & she was inside while I was outside , pretty ironic huh .
She called Dan who was behind her back & was packing up his stuff & of course it was nice to see him again . I introduced Dan to Kelvin & Khairil & both guys shooked hands with Dan & everyone talked for a while regarding the gig & later on it got pretty noisy cos Dave was spinning together with DJ KFC so I suggested that we meet further down the road & Dan was cool with it & went back to lug back his stuff to the tent .
As the 3 of us walked further down the road where it was surrounded by more barriers , Dan came out shortly after that & we talked somemore . It's cool & I told Dan to give Khairil & Kelvin some advice since they're about to be enlisted to NS/Police soon & Dan being an 'old' guy oops sorry I mean mature guy , was more than willing to share . I'm handicapped in this department but at least I'm glad that Dan managed to & hopefully lessen both guys's worries .
After that I was telling him that I was worried when he did the whole jumping about eariler & he was telling me he landed on his right leg & not the left which ain't so bad but still you can't help about it & I don't think Dan wants to go though another trumatic experience as what happened a few months ago which freaked everyone out .
It was pretty chilling when he narrated that to me & the other guys last night . For me it was further in detail but ugh I was actually hoping that Dan wouldn't go on further about it but he did but oh well never mind but at least the worst's over .
When I met Dan on Friday , I totally forgot to ask him to pass me some of his namecards & in return I gave 1 of my mum's namecard to him last night & also asked him about something cos I think this will benefit my mum regarding a vitamin supplement cos I was thinking since he's taking it , I might as well let my mum know about it as it will benefit her too .
I was also telling him that the crowd was somewhat sub par & etc but it's ok lah . At least they got the job done & etc . I supposed the event was not properly promoted & publized enough as it's a Sony Ericsson event . It's either you know or don't know . I echoed the same thing to Amanda when I told her about it later on when I talked to her for a while .
For some reason/s , everyone was unusually tired last night , post gig wise . I think it's the weather & I was telling Dan on the drinks & food that were served inside the venue . I so wished that I didn't told him about the vodka & his eyes immediately lighted up when I told him that hahaha . Oh great , me & my big mouth -.- .
Soon after he went inside the tent & rested for a while & later on I called Des to come outside & Amanda came out later on . I introduced Des to Kelvin & Khairil & everyone had a good talk about some things & that followed suit for Amanda .
Amanda looked really cute last night & somemore she was in pigtails too aww so cute haha . I was asking her something regarding keyboards & piano . I was asking her where Dave's & he was still spinning but he came soon after .
Dave saw me & gave me a nice hug & told me that he was thankful that I came . I pointed to him the T shirt that I was wearing aka the official Electrico T shirt haha . Khairil & Kelvin shook hands with Dave & Dave was telling me he had to settle some stuff & he was done with it a while after that .
Cos last night's event was sorta like an early birthday celebration for him in which his birthday's tomorrow , I passed Dave his birthday present & yay thank goodness he liked it & he gave me a few more hugs too & said that he would used it immediately . Nice !
A while later on , the 5 of them had to walk further down a bit to the roadside to do some interview & after that was finished , Khairil was asking me whether can everyone take a group picture together . I said why not & asked Des to gather everyone together with Marcia taking the pictures on my behalf .
She only took 2 pictures last night but it was ok & oh man the pics were hilarious to the bone haha . I bluetoothed them to Dan & Kelvin straightaway last night & eariler I sent the pics to the rest of the guys via MySpace & to Khairil & a few others via email . If you want to see the peektures , let me know , I would gladly send them to you via email .
& Dan just has to hold a glass of vodka on his left hand when everyone was taking the group pic & his left arm was on me too alamak .
When that was done , Kelvin , Khairil & I said our goodbyes to Dan in which he thanked me & the other guys for coming as I guess around this time everyone was super hungry as I didn't had dinner yet . I would love to stay for the rest of the street party to check things out but when I saw the no. of people inside the venue , I don't wanna go inside as it was really crowded & somemore I'm not really into the whole partying & etc .
Before that , I was telling Dan that he owes me something or was it the other way round which I didn't manage to accomplish on Friday but last night that was accomplished haha in which I gave him a super duper big hug to thank him for everything :)
Last night's mission was accomplished ! At least Kelvin & Khairil managed to catch Electrico in performance & post gig met everyone in person & I'm glad that they had a really good time & not to mention getting a few tips or so from Dan regarding NS/Police . I had a lot of fun too & Khairil was telling me in future if there're anymore of such events , he wants to go too in which I'm sure last night's event , it wouldn't be the last that he's attending .
I really enjoyed seeing the guys in performance last night & they're the main reason as to why I have supported & loved them probably a bit too much for the longest time . I look forward to their next gig or so & an early happy birthday to you Dave or should I say DJ Hook .
