I got in the mail the latest updates from Perlini Silver eariler today & as part of the Great S'pore Sale that's currently taking place , it was stated in their latest email that there will be 50% off for all bracelets & pendants starting from tomorrow all the way to 14th June !

a big YAY if you ask me . Even though they are still having a promotion on 50% off for all rings & necklaces right now as today's the last day since it was started from 11th , I'm not really big on rings & necklaces .

But now that I know from tomorrow to 14th June all bracelets & pendants will have 50% off , I'm psyched . Looking forward to expand my bracelet army which has about 11 'members' & counting . Pendants maybe . Or I probably buy a few pendants & give them as gifts to some of my friends whose birthdays are in the month of June but we'll see .

Now all's left's 50% off earrings . If that happens which I'm sure that will take place sooner or later , I will go nuts like iterally . I'm an earrings slut if you ask me . I have almost 40 pairs of earrings from Perlini which's insane . At this rate , I probably can open my own Perlini shop in the future haha

Wanted to wake up at 6am today cos I intended to send Diveka off as her depature flight to India was 9.10am but obviously that FAILED big time . I got up at about 9.45am instead oops but last night I send her an SMS wishing her bon voyage . At most I'll be at the airport to welcome her back when she returns somewhere in Aug then.

Oh my god I just realised just now that I almost have been taking antibotics to my grave like iterally . Why ? cos the antibotic medicine that the doctor prescribed to me on Mon was actually the very same 1 that I'm allergic to :S !

No wonder I was wondering how come I keep on feeling sick like shit after I take the 3 types of medicines that I'm being prescribed . It's actually the antibotic that's whacking my system . I think for safety reasons I better stop taking all 3 of them .

Man this's terrible . Luckily I double checked the name of the medicines just now or else god knows what will happen if I continue taking the antibotic .

Birthdays usually are a cause of celebration cos it's this special day that you will turn 1 year older & hopefully wiser . Not to mention the mountain of pressies that you're being lavished upon too which's always my fave part for every birthday of mine.

But what happens when you found out that on the day you're born , you're supposed & destined to end the world ? now that's a pretty scary thought if you ask me . I certainly don't want people to tell me that in my face cos I mean birthdays to me by right are supposed to be joyious occasions not something so depressed & tragic like what I mentioned eariler but it just makes me wonder if something like this can become a reality.

At the meantime let's just hope that this will only happen in the reel world , not the real world.

Have been addicted to Maroon 5's latest record It Won't Be Soon Before Long & compared to their debut Songs About Jane , I can say that their latest's better than their debut , a notch or so . Although I must admit that on 1st listen of It Won't Be Soon Before Long , I was a bit disappointed cos it didn't had any standout & catchy tracks unlike This Love.

But the more I listen to It Won't Be Soon Before Long , the more the tracks started to grow on me which's a good thing . I love the 1st 4 tracks at the moment . After listening to the record over & over again , it ain't so bad after all .

Little Of Your Time's addictive even though it only clocks in at about 2:17 mins long .

& speaking about birthdays & all , my cousin Hwee Gek aka Jasmine gave birth to a baby boy yesterday . Yay congrats to her !

Oh dear I'm still feeling poorly today . I thought the gastric flu has been subsided but it's still there . Despite taking medication yesterday & eariler today , more or less the problem's still clinging onto my body . I guess if my condition doesn't improved by tonight , then probably I go see a doctor tomorrow to fix the problem up.

Talked to SkiVe's Soon eariler on MSN & oh wow SkiVe's gonna head to the 987FM Studio next Wed afternoon for the recording of 987 Home that will be broadcast next Sat . Not sure are they gonna do a full recording set or just an acoustic set as Soon told me that they're gonna perform live acoustic versions of The Same Old Sky & Lost Again .

Well regardless of anything , I will probably record next Sat's 987 Home since SkiVe will be on the show next week . I just hope that the radio reception from my Mp3 will be ok.

I asked him whether can I tag along next Wed to have a look see & not to mention meet up with him & the rest of the guys . He said yes . I think it will be fun to see how a show's being pre-recorded & not to forget he can pass me a copy of The Same Old Sky EP too which's great . That's if he can remember about it haha

I don't know if I have to pay for it though haha but whether if that's the case , I don't mind really.

Poor me I have been feeling sick on/off for the past 3 weeks & it's ain't a pretty sight to begin with.

Last week my period came which made me feel really blah & yesterday night before & after dinner , I started to have a pounding headache as a result of sugar withdrawal . Got pretty bad to the extent that it led to a mild case of gastric flu I think . Already took medicine for it eariler . Also it further led onto a mild loss of appetite . Couldn't really finished my breakfast & lunch eariler which was pretty weird as usually my appetite's really good so eariler it was a bit scary.

Now at least I know how smokers go though without their daily fix of ciggies .

Already booked my tickets for Rock For Wayne . Pretty excited in going for it . Dila & Kelvin will be accompanying me . Asked Rachel , Su & Jiha , all 3 bailed out cos of personal/family reasons but that's ok , they always can accompany me to go to such gigs in the near future.

Currently am addicted to HK drama show To Get Unstuck In Time (隔世追凶) which has started to air on Ch U since this Mon every weekday from 10 - 11pm & boy am I hooked on it .

It stars Roger Kwok Chun On (郭晉安) & Flora Chan (陳慧珊) & the thing about me when comes to HK actors/actresses is that I can recongise the faces but I just don't know the name of the actors/actresses which's not necessary a bad thing but anyway like what I said , I'm currently addicted to To Get Unstuck In Time which's a detective police show but unlike other HK detective police drama shows that I watched before , this has a bit of a twist in that there's some sort of time travelling going along between Roger Kwok's character & his character's dad .

So far it's pretty interesting & I really like what I'm seeing so far & Roger Kwok's a hottie man despite turning 42 this coming Oct but he doesn't look like 42 in any single bit man ! He still looked like he's in his early 20s ! He's that young to me !

& he's off the market in that he got married to his girlfrienf of 7 years Cindy Au last year at HK Disneyland . Aww that's sweet .

Anyway I went to the temple eariler this morning to pray & give thanks . Wanted to go yesterday but I got up late . After that , I made my way to Bugis Junction . I actually wanted to head down to Heeren cos Action City & HMV are located there . I didn't expect to find an Action City outlet in Bugis Junction itself so I didn't went to Heeren eventually.

I did went to Citylink Mall's HMV though to check on the latest CDs & all & guess what I saw on the catalogue ? OLIVIA's The Cloudy Dreamer CD except there was only 1 copy left on the CD rack & it's so expensive , a whopping S$48 :O

I think HMV directly import it from Japan or else how would you explain the crazy price tag attached to it ? Was tempted to buy it but I didn't cos it was so expensive.

You know people sometimes like to say the words Fight Fire With Fire ? But does that usually works all the time ? For me I don't think so .

Just like some certain egghead who from time to time leaves pathetic & not to mention lame messages on my tagboard insulting on the way I write , the numerous spelling errors he managed to spot & even bothered to type out the correct spelling , it makes me wonder why in the 1st place is he reading my blog where obviously in a way it's a freedom of space/speech for me as I can write practically almost about anything/everything under the sun .

Initally I did wanted to reply & lash back at that egghead but I decided not to as it will probably make things worst so in short , if you don't like what I'm writing , then just leave & stop leaving such childish messages on my tagboard . & in the 1st place why are you wasting your time & effort in reading what I'm typing/writing about . What a wolfie !

It's lame , silly & I wouldn't entertainment your vicious barbs cos it doesn't mean anything to me to say that I suck in front of you . Oh sure so what if I suck ? I'm sure you suck even more , period.

+ no matter how many insulting/bad messages you keep posting on my tagboard , I will just keep on deleting them & wouldn't reply to any of such messages as it's wasting my time & besides I stand corrected !

I have a good family , good friends that likes me for who I'm & not what I'm , what more can I ask for ? I can't get everyone to like me but then again I don't care . If you don't like me but yet you keep on insulting me just for the sake of doing that , then you're someone who doesn't have a heart.

Initally I didn't wanted to do this in that to go for Rock For Good which has since been renamed to Rock For Wayne cos I know for a very good fact that my parents are planning to go on a holiday on 19th June , Tue & that every1 will be coming back on 23th June , Sat at night.

Well guess what ? I decided this time round to do the right thing in that I forfeit my rights to go aboard & instead stay put in S'pore & go for Rock For Wayne instead as I know for a fact that before Wayne's unfortunate pass-on , he was working hard on it .

Now that he's gone , everyone in the local music scene/family is planning to step things up & to make this event a success & not to let Wayne down . Initally 2 bands were supposed to audition for Rock For Good but now that the idea has been scrapped , at the 11th hour , Force Vomit & Electrico has been added to the lineup as they were 2 of Wayne's fave local bands.

I have to set the record straight that I'm not going for Rock For Wayne just bcos Electrico will be performing.Rather I want to help out in whichever I can as I know Wayne put his heart & soul into making Rock For Good a success.

Somemore there will be plenty of other local bands that will be rocking the stage on 23th June , Sat at Far East Pavillion (Far East Square) such as Astroninja Allstars , West Grand Boulevard, Caracal , Fire Fight, Great Spy Experiment & there will be more that will be added to the final lineup.

I haven't seen West Grand , Fire Fight & Caracal perform yet so I'm sure it will be exciting . Have caught Great Spy & Force Vomit performed before & they're awesome live.

I told my parents about it & they're pretty ok with me not going with them . Thank goodness so far they only booked the hotel accommodation . If they have booked the coach tickets , I will be dead meat in a way or 2.

Somemore at least this time round , I told my parents about it before getting the tickets rather than the opposite or else I will be getting an earful from my mum once again as to what happened when I bought tickets to go see Rivermaya performed last month at D'Marquee . Now I know better , I tell my parents about whatever event I'm planning to go for before buying the tickets !

At most I don't mind if I have to ren the numerous crazy amount of calls that I will be getting from my paternal grandma & uncle ! Thank god my parents are not like that who keeps tab on me on everything/anything I do or else I will go crazy ! I would feel like a caged bird man.

Besides after what has happened to for the past few days , I don't really have the mood to go for a holiday now.

Somemore I believe & hopefully this time round I'm doing the right thing . I can always go on a holiday with my family but this time round , friends/interest come 1st.

The whole local music scene/family has been saddened by Wayne's unexpected death since his passing on Mon morning . It's always terrible when you lose a loved one or a dear friend . It's even worst when it's a sudden death .

No 1 definitely expected this if you ask me & it didn't helped matters when I saw Wayne's obituary & also the news on his passing in Life in today's ST . I was really shocked when the news 1st hit everyone yesterday morning & it started spreading really fast like wildfire.

From the friends that I spoke to , from Dan , Fuzz to Soon , could tell that Wayne was a nice guy & his devotion & countless contributions to the local music scene's priceless & uncountable . Also I love The Suns's music & was real sad to see a fellow musician/drummer gone just like that.

I sent in a dedication to 987's Say It With Music yesterday night requesting Carrie Chong to play a Suns song in memory of Wayne . She read it out thankfully & it was the least I can do as I didn't attended the wake yesterday.

Wayne you will be missed dearly by everyone & also I will miss the compliments that you left on my MySpace as well :(

Supposed to know the final piece of the puzzle today . ie. the release of my Maths II grade . I have been like an idiot , checking the website all of this morning but so far nothing yet . Maybe it might be released later on in the afternoon.

But so far , I'm real happy on what I have got even though at this moment it's pretty much bittersweet due to Wayne's passing but I suppose whether I like it or not , life still has to go on & also if you ask me , this incident taught me not to take your loved ones for granted.

Sure you might drive them up the wall with your weird behaviour & ways & don't appericate them being around nagging at you & all . Like for me , I always am complaining about my mum nagging at me but I know she has my interest at heart at the end of the day .

It's only when someone you loved passed away & he/she's never coming back & that you realised oh you took him/her for granted even though when he/she was a pain in the ass to you in the good kinda way that you regret.

I don't want to live my life full of regrets so probably at this point in time , I should not be taking people that I hold dearly to for granted cos you never know when they will slipped away from your fingers.

I just checked my Maths II grade & WOOOOOOOOOOO I'm super happy & chuffed to bits & in a way I was a bit more happy about it than Eng II & you know what this means ? I can advance to 2nd year of Uni YAY + I don't have to retake Eng II somemore haha

No doubt 2nd semester was really tough & a hell lot more harder than my 1st semester but at least I perserve on . I suppose 2nd semester's a stepping stone for me as I know in time to come when I start my 2nd & hopefully 3rd year , I will be ok & game for anything that's ahead of me.

In such situation it's always best to prepare for the worst . I cannot expect myself to get everything all A's it's quite unrealistic unless you're talking about Pri or Sec school .

I already prepared for the worst when the results/grades were released 1 by 1 at the same time but still this's awesome man . At least tonight I can sleep in peace haha !

You can say that I already had myself prepared for the worst in every test/exam that I took . It's better this way as I don't want to place high hopes on myself only to be crushed & get crashed down quite badly cos it's unrealistic especially since right now I'm in Uni so I can't hope for everything that's A , A & more A's !

So Leonard , no lah I'm not a straight A's student . I'm just a lazy bum in real life haha

Will I be getting my own labtop with the grades that I got ? most probably so !

& most probably I will be heading to the temple tomorrow to give thanks to Buddha then & also pray for Wayne too.

Received a shocking piece of news eariler when I was talking to Soon . The Suns's drummer Wayne passed away in his sleep yesterday night :(

Initally I thought it was a joke but it wasn't as Soon told me that he got the news personally from Leonard himself but oh man this's so unexpected & very shocking instead.

I don't know Wayne that well but from the few comments he left on my MySpace I can see that he was a very nice chap .

If you ask me , this's really a big loss for the whole local music scene/family & it's very sad . Practically everyone's grieving over his death big time at this point in time.

I love The Suns's music & it wasn't so long ago that Wayne left a message telling me that they're going to perform next month or in the months to come . Now that he's gone , I don't know what's the future like for The Suns .

soft.com.sg posted a link in their forums giving details about Wayne's wake details that will be taking place later on tonight . As much as I would want to show up , I can't as I have to take care of Hui Lin who's not feeling well + I myself am still sick & will need somemore time to recover.

Rest in peace Wayne :( & you will be sorely missed by everyone in the local music scene/family.

Yesterday I went to the supermarket to browse around to get some groceries & stumbled upon quite a lot of low fat/reduced fat/fat free goods & most recently a new brand of low fat yoghurt just hit the stores.

It's funny but I'm sure all along , people would have assumed that just because something that's low fat/reduced fat/fat free would have been healthy cos that's what the Health Promotion Board has been feeding everyone & telling every single soul to cut down/out the fat & it's not just HPB even nutritionists/dieticians are singing the same tune & I think practically every person out there's scared of fat as they assumed it's fat that's making them well fat.So whatever low fat/reduced fat/fat free stuff that's out there in the market , people would gladly buy it over normal full fat stuff just because they assumed it's healthy & good stuff for them.

Well guess what ? a low fat/reduced fat/fat free is not something that's healthy & benefical for you ! Why I say that ? because to make up for the absence of fat , companies will add in a lot of sugar into their products so essentially you're consuming something that're even higher in sugar/carbs as compared to a normal full fat product.

Not only that , the amount of calories found in such 'fat-less' products is even higher or just the same as a normal product & also trans fat wise , it's no surprise that such 'fat-less' products will bound to contain more trans fat .

Want proof ? next time pick up a low fat/reduced fat/fat free product & compared it with a normal product . Read the labels & also most importantly its carb content per serving . You will be surprised that it's the former that will contain more carbs as like what I said , companies will add more sugar to the mixture in the absence of fat .

From young I assumed a low fat/reduced fat/fat free's healthy & have been consuming them regularly . No surprises that I gained weight cos of the extra un-necessary sugars found in them . & after reading a lot of info on the net about such products it opened my eyes on this issue & since then I have ditched all of such products which're deemed fake foods if you can or want to call them.

& also perhaps the laughing matter's that such products are stamped with a healthier choice symbol which I think it's a joke.Here HPB's trying to encourage people to eat healthy & embark on a more balanced diet/lifestyle & here companies are loading people with more sugar that're found in such fake goods.

So next time you head to the supermarket aisle , you will know better & that's why I never listen to what HPB/nutrionists/dieticians been telling people ever since I discovered the truth.

Also another thing I like to add's no sugar added label found in packaged fruit juices . Does this mean that it's healthy ? well sorry to burst your bubble but it's another NO again !

Don't believe me ? just read the labels & most importantly the carb content of such products . If you have been downing packaged fruit juices like crazy , you been warned . It's not necessary healthy for you & also there's barely any fiber attached to such drinks . Instead what's left's just sugar , sugar & more sugar . So if you like fruits , just eat the whole fruit in its solid state , not in a packaged liquid state.

Last but not least , fat . As I said eariler , it's not fat that's making people overweight . Rather it's excess 'bad' carb consumption in the form of rice , bread , pasta , noodles , deep fried foods , fruit juices , junk food etc + with the consumption of fat which in turn make people overweight. HPB's food pyramid's faulty big time as it focused too much on the consumption of such 'bad' carbs.

I know people are scared of fat in meat or just about everything that contains fat . For me I would happily lapped it up with the exception of fat that's found in pork which I find it gross.

Over the past few years I have been reading quite a lot of info about nutrition about such issues on the net & also in books which's why I know what's right & what's wrong & like any person out there , I have tried lots of diets that emphasised on cutting down/out fat & what happens ? I have gained weight instead of losing it.

& surprise surprise , the 'good' kind of carbs that people should be consuming more instead of the 'bad' ones that I mentioned eariler are veggies , fruits , nuts , whole grains so if you're planning to lose weight , you know what to do . Cut down/out the 'bad' ones & eat more 'good' carbs . See what fanastic effects you will get once you get that done.

I actually wanted to go back to SCGS's Open House on Sat & guess what ? I didn't go back after all haha cos of all days , my period has to come on Sat . Haiyo lousy & sibei bad timing so I had to can all plans to go back & I spent the whole of Sat recuperating at home & also watching a bit of Muse's Hullabaloo DVD.

I stopped at Sunburn cos I was feeling like shit & didn't had the strength to carry on watching but I like what I seen so far . It's just the 3 of them onstage , no singers backing up . Not even extra musicians backing them up . Just the trio onstage working their magic & there's extremely sharp & good camera close up's of their concert.

I don't like frontman Matt's hair though , it looks like a porcupine . Some people might like it but I don't .

I will continue the rest of the league of Hullabaloo probably in the days to come .

I came across articles about Smoking in the latest Teenage & also in Girlfriend too . For Girlfriend they list down 5 reasons as to why smoking sucks big time whereas for Teenage , it's an account of someone who gave in which she said that she lost her dad to lung cancer due to him smoking to his grave like iterally.

& I agree with what the girl said cos you yourself will never know when a family member or a loved one of yours died in front of you just bcos' of smoking & is it worth it ? I don't think so cos I mean everyone in due time will at least die of something but am I willing to die a horrible death just bcos' I smoke myself to my grave ? I don't think so man.

I myself lost my family doctor a couple of years back due to smoking & way before that happened , I lost my maternal grandpa partially due to smoking . In fact I was the last grandkid to ever see him alive . Hui Li & Hui Lin unfortunately didn't got the chance to which's a real pity & yes I do miss him very very much , not to mention his warmth as well.

& since the passing of my maternal grandpa for almost 17 years ago , I swore never ever to pick up smoking cos of this . It's always terrible when a family member or a loved one dies & somemore in this case you see him/her died cos of an innocent looking piece of stick.

It may look innocent but just 1 puff of it & also 1 stick of it will led to you being in deep shit & not to mention a big hole in your pocket . Oh sure a packet of ciggies that cost S$10-S$12 it might not mean anything to you but it does . Can you imagine the amount of $ you save instead of spending it on ciggies ?

I can use the S$10-S$12 for almost 20-30 worth of tokens in the arcade if you ask me . But I have to set the record straight that I don't hate people who smoke . Rather it's the habit that I really detest.

I know of friends who smoke but does that mean I hate them ? no way but at least the saving grace's that if I'm around them , they don't light up . Well they try not to cos they know I die die hate smoking.

So the next time if you offer me ciggies , I'm gonna kick your sorry ass.

On a less depressing note , congrats to my boys/girl of Electrico for winning their 2nd Top Local Eng Pop Song award for Good Time & also Corrinne May for winning the Young Composer Of The Year & the Wings of Excellence awards at yesterday's 12th annual COMPASS award ceremony :)

Also yesterday , I finally managed to buy myself a bottle of Tommy Hilfiger True Star Gold perfume after searching high & low for it .

Shaw Centre does sell it but it's so expensive at S$95 for a 75ml bottle . I went to Jurong East Entertainment Centre & got it at a knock out price at S$76 & I love the scent & the packaging !

The packaging of it looks like a trophy if you ask me . I already have a bottle of True Star itself & I love both scents it smells really good.

Also at night I had black pepper ribs for dinner at Cafe Cartel . Was the 1st time having ribs cos I always had the assumption that ribs = no meat on the bones but in any case decided to give it a shot.

When my order came to the table , it was a big stack of ribs I was given & there was in fact a lot of meat on the ribs & surprisely I managed to debone everything quite well & nicely without the use of my hands so I guess it goes to show that sometimes you're not always right if you based things on assumptions .

Was talking to SkiVe's Soon on MSN eariler asking him which CD stores/outlets SkiVe's EP The Same Old Sky's being sold at . Imagine my surprise when he told me that no record stores wish to sell the EP despite the available of copies.

It was odd cos it was stated in LIME that The Same Old Sky was available in stores already . Stupid record stores & to think just now I had thought of making my way down to HMV to get myself a copy of it even though I already recorded the songs off their MySpace from the computer haha

but I'm gonna buy a copy from SkiVe/Soon on condition that he will get everyone to autograph it for me which I don't think it will be a problem .

I don't understand why HMV would not want to sell the EP . Lame excuse they gave Soon . It's odd bcos HMV do carry Phorous's EP so the reason HMV gave was stupid but too bad it's HMV's loss not mine.

Accounts II's grade/result was released yesterday . Checked mine eariler this morning . Heng ah , at least I passed ! Before that I was worried & might be thinking that I probably might get a D or something as in the final exam , I was unable to balance my accounts so I suspect it's that question which pulled me down.

But anyway I'm happy with what I got for Accounts II . Now it's down to 2 more subjects . Actually I was surprised Accounts II was released yesterday cos I thought my programme executive told me that the rest of the results would be released next week on 23th but I suppose it's a matter of time before I find out .

Tomorrow's SCGS's Open House . Not sure if I want to go for it depending whether my mum has plans to go out for lunch tomorrow but see how things goes .

I haven't went back for a good 8 years man & I'm sure things have changed a lot when I left.

Oh yeah just now I was at King Albert Park to get some lunch . After that made a beeline to the big magazine newstand located inside Cold Storage & yay found out there they were carrying Aust monthly magazine Girlfriend ! among many other imported magazine titles that they carried.

I was excited when I saw Girlfriend in the magazine rack as I really love reading it . Had stopped buying it of sorts when I found out that MPH no longer carried the title & I was gutted to say the least so imagine my thrill when I saw it eariler & not to mention I bought the last copy too.

I usually don't buy imported magazines as they're too expensive as you have to pay extra cos of the shipping fee which can cost a bomb & at S$7.50 for a copy of Girlfriend that I paid eariler , it was pretty steep no doubt as compared to local magazines which're waay cheaper.

I mean you can pay S$7.50 for 2 copies of Teenage/Teens/HOT & 3 copies for 8 DAYS/i Weekly but only for Girlfriend I make it an exception as I really like it . It's so informative , has fashion/quiz/embarassment stories that readers submit/true life stories & not to forget the latest entertainment news too.

I remembered I used to buy a ton of UK/Aust Smash Hits & It's HOT before ditching them like iterally as I found it to be too expensive & pretty rubbish especially Aust Smash Hits . As much as I love to read up on the latest entertainment news , sometimes too much of a good thing can transit into something bad.

But at least now I know where to get my monthly copy of Girlfriend from now on !

& in the morning , I finally found out where the Kapo soft toys are being sold at ACTION CITY whee

went to the website to have a look-see & awww the Kapo soft toys that were being displayed are so cute . I'm not crazy about the prices though . Like eg. 1 Sleeping Kapo soft toy will set me for S$29.95 each while 1 Sitting Kapo costs S$16.95 each .

Ok maybe the price of the Sitting Kapo's pretty reasonable but the Sleeping Kapo which I think it's more cuter it's too ex ! I don't know man , I might consider to get a Kapo soft toy even though I know the space in my room's damn limited.

So in the meantime have to enjoy looking at the pics of the Kapo soft toys then !

I managed to find out the price of the many Kapo's that were outside of Gift Image that's located in West Mall eariler . Not cheap sia , the small mini cute ones will set me for S$24.95 ! Crazy man . I don't know what's the price of the bigger ones though but to fork out almost S$25 for a small Kapo , it's pretty far fetched.

But before I left Gift Image , I saw this inside the glass display & it's so cute lah , I had to take a pic of it !

I saw the mushroom slippers being advertised in May's Teenage & in the latest June issue of Teens . While Teenage featured slippers that're pink , Teens featured slippers that're blue . I actually wanted to get the blue mushroom slippers as outta the whole lot of colours for me to choose from , the facial expression of the blue ones are the best but too bad about the colour . It was quite bland.

Wanted to get pink slippers but I actually have a big pink mushroom cushion & also the colour doesn't really stand out so had to settle for fire engine red which stands out from the pack !

I saw on Corrinne May's MySpace that she's coming back to S'pore on 3th Aug , Fri to stage a concert at NUS's UCC Concert Hall woo hoo . They haven't released the prices of the tickets yet but hopefully the prices will be ok . I want to see her perform once again as this time round , it wouldn't be a xmas theme unlike last Dec when I went to see her sold out concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall where she performed xmas tunes.

But this time round , she will be performing tunes from her 1st 2 albums & also her soon to be released 3rd record tentatively titled Beautiful Seed which I really can't wait to get it once it's released.

I also hope that next month I will be able to go for Lunarin's acoustic gig that will be taking place next month on 16th June , Sat at Library@Esplanade . I was a spoilsport & pampered brat not to show up for their gig at Bar None which took place on Mon . But thank goodness Linda was understanding as to why I didn't turned up as she knows these kinda places are not my thing.

I had my reasons in which 1 of them's who's gonna send me home after their gig has finished ? I don't want to ask them again (or the opposite they offer) to send me home cos I feel paiseh . Even though I know Dan showed up for their gig , I don't want to trouble my bro cos of his condition.

+ I'm no party girl , period aka I don't have a habit of staying out so late at night on my own.

But I'm sure it went well & it started quite late I think . Not sure though but I heard the tunes that were done on Mon . Awesome is what I would say . Love the Midas trilogy of Serepentine , Red & of course Midas .

I tell you , I love Midas ever since it debuted at last Dec's LIME Sonic Bang . I can't wait to hear the album version of it if you ask me.

Most probably I can stop by Library@Esplanade next month for their acoustic set since it's a Sat . I want to request them to do Midas again & if that happens , this will be like what the 3rd acoustic gig that I'm going of theirs .

Am I complaining ? No.

Was talking to Hui Kai on MSN & then he suddenly said that the result/grade of Eng II has been released yesterday :O . I got a shock . Then again it was sorta like a 1/2 shock cos I'm expecting my results to be released either this or next week.

So I went to the website to check my grade for Eng II & YAY I'm happy with the grade that I obtained ! Hui Kai also obtained the same grade too so congrats to him !

& you know what this means ? This means that I don't have to remodule/retake it woo hoo , it will be so sucky & not to mention pretty stupid if I have to redo the whole thing . You imagine I don't wanna come up with another research report & go though the whole trauma once again !

Which means 1 down , 3 more results/grades to know . Hui Kai said that the rest might be out today or tomorrow . Then again it's a matter of time before I have to face reality . I cannot runaway from it unlike some people who doesn't want to face it .

Don't think I want to release the Eng II grade that I got to my friends yet via MySpace/Email/SMS so at the moment I let you wander in suspense what I got this time round .

I got a B for Eng 1 so I leave it to you in wondering whether did I got a B again for Eng II or an A.

Does this mean that I will be celebrating ? In a way yes !

As soon as I found out the grade/result for Eng 2 , I called my mum immediately & you know what she said ? she said 'ok lor ' . Man I don't know whether to feel happy or sad about her reply -_- . Hopefully when I know the other 3 , she will give me a much much better response instead of just 2 words.

I just finished reading some of the episode synopsis to the upcoming new season of Totally Spies on some forums , season 5 to be exact . In fact I read up the 1st 13 episode summaries of it & I must say it sounds really promising & probably it will be a notch higher than the 1st 4 seasons.

Like the girls going to college after graduating from Beverly Hills High , Britney's gonna paired up with the trio of Alex , Clover & Sam more often , the debut of Mandy's cousin Mindy , Clover getting somewhat more airtime than the rest , a somewhat part 2 deja vu Sam's Evil Boyfriend saga which took place in season 1 & etc . I think it's gonna be 1 heck of a great season & I do hope Disney Channel will pick up real soon once season 5 starts to air on TV.

& you can tell , I'm a huge fan of Totally Spies & have caught every single episode of it from season 1 to season 4 since its debut in 2001 & not to mention countless re-runs of it . Oh sure it has gotten flak & criticism but you gotta admit it's a good show.

It's funny , in season 3 , most of the episodes ended with the word Much? behind like Evil Coffee Shop Much? , Space Much? , Physics 101 Much? . Yeah you get the idea but in season 5 , the word Evil seems to crop up a lot.

& who doesn't want to own an extensive list of gadgets available which somewhat seems to make life more easier & fun ? I don't mind having the X powder for starters , also earrings that doubles up as bombs , laser lipstick , laser nail file & the list goes on.

Now that's left is a Totally Spies movie & I hope Marathon can work something about it.

Went to eat at Sakura that's located at the Omni Theatre for a Japanese buffet lunch . I never been there before so didn't really know what to expect.

I didn't had breakfast except for a cup of Milo so I assumed that I was able to eat a lot .

Surprisely I didn't & when I was at my 4th-5th plate , my stomach gave up on me of sorts . Looks like my stomach has shrinked over the past few years . Why even my paternal grandma who arrived eariler than me boosted that she could eat more .

I just couldn't , it was strange maybe I'm not cut out to have buffets anymore but if there's 1 complaint I like to make about Sakura's , is that it's too small . People were pushing me when I went to get my food but other than that , the prices are reasonable . Somemore it's the nett price you're paying for , not some +++ prices that you woul have to pay for .

Also the selection available was HUGE . I'm talking about like 100 over types of dishes . Hui Li went nuts over the desserts including me . The Oreo Cheesecake & the strangely ice chilled cheesecake were lush.

I think it's 1 place you should go if you're big on buffets & the prices are reasonable too & look at what I shot when I was there :

Hui Li's friend Mel informed her that next Sat's SCGS's open house that will be taking place from 10.30am - 4.30pm . Not sure if I want to go , probably unless I don't have anything on next Sat but oh man I haven't went back there for 8 long years ever since I got back my PSLE results which were a disaster.

I'm sure things have changed a hell lot cos I mean it has been 8 years since I last stepped inside SCGS . Miss Rosalind Heng has retired as principal & not to mention my ex vice principal Mrs Ng has retired long ago . I'm sure a couple of teachers who used to teach me are still there.

Wonder if Miss Irene Kwok's still the discipline mistress though but I don't mind going back to see a few familiar faces but we'll see how things goes.

Wanted to go to Vivo City with my mum today but I'm staying put at home cos I'm knocked out with a big bad cold . Been sneezing since the whole morning & it wasn't funny.

Added the fact that there're numerous stupid birds (crows & magpies I think) that're nested in big huge trees opposite of my house that without fail , chirped every night & in the wee hours of the morning which practically drives me insane every single day . As a result I can never get a good night sleep.

Doesn't help matters that my room's facing those idiots . Maybe next time before I sleep , I should consider to close my room's windows even though it doesn't really solve matters . If only I can soundproof my whole room that will be even better !

Too bad possession of guns are not allowed in S'pore or else I would have bought a rifle or a shotgun & just shoot all of the birds to make my life more easier & peaceful , sleep wise.

Anyway , IM'd Vivian of The Observatory via MySpace . She revealed some surprising things about 987FM on the way that they treated The Obs . I was asking her whether have 987 ever picked up their material cos I mean I was surprised when Fall Of Man was added to their list.

In fact that wasn't the case at all . The Obs has been played on 987 since their debut which surprises me cos I never heard stuff being played from their 1st 2 albums & it's ironic on how The Obs are being treated by 987 . At 1 hand , 987 proclaimed that they support local music & yet they did such a cutty thing to The Obs which pissed me.

Then again the way I see it , I don't think The Obs would need the backup support of 987 simply bcos I know that they have a devoted following in S'pore & also judging from the numerous rave reviews I have read on critics reviewing the 3 records they have released & also crowds packing the venues in the numerous gigs they staged + also word of mouth as to how good The Obs's music's , they don't need that at all .

It's just 987's & their listeners's loss as to the fact that they don't know what they're missing out on & who says that Olives's too heavy ? a lame excuse to give as to why 987 don't want to play that on radio . A bunch of stupid shit-heads.

Oh tomorrow , a feast for lunch ! aka Japanese buffet lunch at Sakura , the Omni Theater Science Centre outlet to be exact . SkiVe's Soon said that he doesn't like the outlet at Pasir Ris cos they serve halal food . Er as to what he meant by that , I have no idea .

Then again no comment about Sakura yet cos I haven't been to any of their outlet/s & also I haven't tried the food yet . Hopefully tomorrow will be a good 1 & not to mention I hope by tomorrow morning , my cold will be ok !

I logged onto Gareth Gates's official forums eariler & 1 of the threads that I replied since yesterday & not to mention came across was that someone (I shall call this person A ) who mentioned that her soon to be ex has cheated on her & the worst thing's that her previous 3 boyfriends did the same thing to her which sucks .

& if that's not bad enough , the other girl that he's going with behind A's back , he has since slept with her . What a jerk.

Somemore A said that when she found out the same thing happened to her soon to be ex in that he cheated on her , she cried the whole day . Poor thing I feel so sorry for A especially she definitely doesn't deserve this kinda shit & needless to say , everyone rallied around her to give her moral support.

Eventually A decides to call it quits even though she hasn't officially told the guy that she wants him to get outta her life which I think it's a good decision/move on her part cos if you ask me , I wouldn't take back a cheater into my life . Once a cheater always a cheater , it's like a leopard who can't change its spots.

Which led me to think as to why some guys want to do that ? is it bcos' they feel superior that girls are throwing themselves onto them or is it an ego thing ? I don't know but I think it's a guy's thing.

Bottomline's , never ever be the cheater cos I believe in such circumstances , the after effects ain't funny & karma might just bite you in the ass so in short , don't cheat your spouse , stay faithful to him/her .

I caught Spiderman3 on the net yesterday , managed to finish watching part 2 on the website which uploaded it & I read that it received mixed reviews as compared to Spiderman2 which reviews were more favourable.

& verdict ? sorry to say this but I have to agree with the critics who gave mixed reviews this time round cos even though Spiderman3's supposedly the darkest outta the whole trilogy , there were just too many villians this time round unlike the 1st 2 where you only concentrate on just 1 villian .

But in here , you have 3 villians . 4 if you consider Spiderman's evil alter ego & considering that I caught the 1st 2 , I was slightly disappointed as I feel the plot's a bit too messy & also clocking in at 2 hours 20 mins , villian time for each villian counterpart , time wise it seems tight & the ending was quite unsatisfying to me.

But it's still worth a watch & judging at the no.of box office records it shattered in the 1st day/1st week worldwide , at least it's something . I heard on the 1st week itself , Spiderman3 took in a whopping US$378 million ++ , more than enough to cover its massive budget at almost US$258 million ++ .

& why oh why it's always the villians that're so good looking ?! Topher Grace/Venom's hot , James Franco/New Goblin's hot . In fact James auditioned for the role of Spiderman , only to be beaten by Tobey Maguire but at least this time , James's hairstyle looks better as compared to Spiderman2 where his hair looked like a mop.

If you asked me which's my fave Spiderman movie outta the Trilogy , I definitely have to go with Spiderman2 . Spiderman1 was just a stepping stone & Spiderman2 exceeded all exceptations considering that usually a sequel's much much harder to match than the original . + Alfred Molina's portray of Doc Ock is just fanastic .

Oh yeah thanks to Hui Li's friend , I finally managed to get hold of the long lost password to my Mahjong game & it was so fun , playing it the whole of yesterday night !

The computer game allows you to choose a few well known Taiwanese/Hong Kong personnel such as Wu Zong Xian , Carol Cheng etc & a few fictional characters such as erm Panda King . Now who would be so stupid to wear a panda costume & also breaking bamboos with his own teeth & climb a bamboo tree in the computer game? Weird & also if he wants to cheat , he should use a much much bigger mirror instead of a small 1 !

But yeah anyway it was so fun to play it once again ! Mahjong's something that I have self taught myself since young cos when I was a kid , every Sun , I always head to my maternal grandma's house & watched her & my relatives played up a storm so naturally I started watching them in playing since I was & still so curious. & I think it's a good way to destress .

I don't really play it with people , with the exception of Chinese New Year but I always play it in the form of a computer game !

I think it's something that you might or might not get it since Mahjong can sometimes be really complicated . Also the computer game taught me lots of hidden points in order for you to score more once you 'hu' or 'ji moi'.

Also the styles of playing Mahjong in some countries differ slightly too . In the computer game I learnt that when comes to Hong Kong style Mahjong , each player in a table of 4 plays the game with 13 tiles without flower cards & roll 2 dices only & regardless whether you're the 1 who throw a tile that a player wants in order to game , you have to pay your share too . Of course if you're suai & got kana , you have to pay double your share & I realise that the pay out's for HK style is much higher.

Whereas in Taiwan style Mahjong , it consists of 16 tiles with flower cards & you roll 3 dices instead of 2 but unlike HK style , all the players don't need to pay his/her share unless the player 'ji moi' . Instead if you throw a tie that the player wants , only you have to pay not the other 2 & usually the pay out's for Taiwan style's lower than HK style which's why I don't really play Taiwan style Mahjong.

I know my mum mentioned that there's also Japanese style Mahjong but I haven't played that style before yet.Somemore I don't know what's so different as compared to HK & Taiwan style.

I can't really remembered what's the most no. of points I scored in a game but yesterday I nabbed a whopping 67 points , 40 points comes from the fact that I have the 4 winds , East , West , North & South . I remembered when I was a kid , I was so foolish , I thought the 4 winds you can 'chow' it but in actual fact you can't !

I know I did said that I would love to go to watch SkiVe performing this Fri night at Home Club & also Lunarin next Mon night at Bar None as part of Bar None Monday Night Sessions .

Well guess what ? I'm not going for both simply bcos both bands are performing at clubs which I notoriously mentioned time & time again that such places are not my thing as there will be people drinking & smoking like shit (ie. til the smoking ban officially extends to clubs/pubs/discos this coming July ! ) + I'm not a night person to begin with.

I'm not the sorta person who would bother to stay out so late cos you never know what kinda trouble you might get into which will probably lead my parents to worry heaps about me which I don't like it at all .

If you ask me , I rather use the time to sleep at home or better yet , brush up on my poker skills . I'm sure both bands will understand since I can always go see their performances next time at a more kid friendly environment.

+ I haven't been in the best of mood for the past few days which sorta worsen things. I just hate people who don't reply to my SMSes , damn pissed with such issues even though it seems childish on my part.

& oh I just have to add that for people who bothered to leave hate messages on my tagboard to spite me & all , you can just forget about it & not to mention save your 'effort'/time in doing so cos whatever you do , I would just delete them & ban your IP host , period.

May I suggest you take up a course like baking to pass time instead of doing such things which doesn't serve any purpose in life.

& what do you know , Vernon A of 987FM called me just now about 987Control & I told him over the phone that I actually sent in an additional SMS to appear in the show but eariler I told him I already appeared on the show .

Besides I have no intentions of appearing on 987 Control once again since my debut encounter's probably my 1st & last to begin with !

Yesterday the paternal side of my family went to Raffles Marina club for an unlimited ala carte SzeChuan buffet dinner at Captain's Table . It was madness , for the next 3 hours or so , everyone had so much to eat .
Reservations was at 6.30pm but my family reached Raffles Marina much eariler to take pics cos it's not often I visit this place & if you ask me , it has been ages since I last stepped into Raffles Marina.
I used to go Raffles Marina quite often when I was a kid but has since stopped when I grew up.
Took lots of pretty worthless pics before the sunset & the sun was so scotching hot , it wasn't funny & it was bad bad bad for my skin . But it's 1 good place that has scenic deemed worthy material so it's good for you if you're a photographer.
Raffles Marina should considered naming itself Yacht/Boat City since the pics that I snapped were boats , boats & more boats , take a look !

Notice they stated unlimited ala carte buffet wahaha , now that's my kinda thing ! I was a bit worried when I saw that they were serving SzeChuan cuisine cos I assumed that everything in the menu was spicy hot since my chilli tolerance's bad but surprisely that wasn't the case.
2 tables were booked & I was sitted with my 2 cousins with their wives & 2 daughters . We were so rowdy it was something as compared to the other table which was so quiet & stoned haha
Even though we didn't ordered alcohol but what we ordered was pretty something . I especially love the pork dumpings & pan fried chickens bao & somemore considering that we ate non stop for 3 hours straight in a row , it's no surprises that I don't need to get breakfast this morning !

No thanks to Caleb's somewhat 'bad' influence , been listening to Silverchair all day long since yesterday & honestly I kinda like their stuff . Before that I haven't heard much about them at all , it's pretty sad isn't it ?

But after I listened to some of the songs that Caleb sent to me via MSN , once I heard The Greatest View , I felt a sense of deja vu cos I find it so familiar & realised eh I heard this before , just that I didn't know who sang it haha

But yeah it's pretty rocking stuff , I also like The Door , Ana's Song (Open Fire) , Reflections Of A Sound & also their most recent latest single Straight Lines but it will take a little while for me to absorb the tracks into my head & at the moment I'm feeling Those Thieving Birds (Part 1)/Strange Behaviour/Those Thieving Birds (Part 2) as I think it's a gorgeous piece of work !

I seldom listen to the radio unlike in the past where I would tuned in every single day so now I have to rely on people to recommend stuff to me . Some are good , some ain't. Also I tapped into J Pop as well , this's what happened when you got nothing better to listen to.

For the next 2 weekends , I already foresee that I will be eating lots of good food til I explode . Like today , everyone except my dad made a trip to my mum's friend Dawn's house to celebrate my mum's boss Miss Yap's bday which took place at the clubhouse which doubles up as a karaoke room.

The selection of karaoke songs was quite lame imo . Nothing but oldies like Richard Marx , The Bangles , Wham! etc . Nothing current & up to date & the videos accompanying the songs were super cheesy . Instead watched Flushed Away on DVD .

I watched that when it opened in cinemas , it was good to see it once again !

So everyone working in the same department as my mum turned up . Dawn called catering & it was pretty good & man I haven't had prawn paste chicken aka smelly chicken for such a long time .

I only had 2 plates worth of food cos the rest of the other items such as Hong Kong fried noodles , Laksa , I don't like/eat them . I know I'm such a weirdo & for the 2nd time in a row , I didn't had cake & this time Miss Yap's cake was durian & it even has a big pic of a durian on top of the cake too.

EEW & it practically stank the whole room if you ask me , the smell was so pungent . Some of my mum's colleagues were eating durians outside . I thought usually you smoke outside of the premises . Now this's a 1st & yes I don't like durians & sadly (or not) , only my mum eats/likes them in the family .

If it's inside the fridge , I will not open it I tell you . I don't like the smell not to mention the taste . There was 1 time I accidentally ate durian cream puffs . I thought I was eating normal cream puffs but it wasn't & I went to the toilet & washed my mouth like iterally.

But then again I surprised myself by not having cake for the 2nd time in a row.

Tomorrow it might be even better on the food department side . Why ? Cos I'm heading to Raffles Marina club for a buffet dinner & oh god I haven't been to Raffles Marina for AGES . The only thing I could recalled was its majestic looking swimming pools & the fried chilli cuttlefish that the chinese restaurant .

Not sure if the restaurant's still standing.Somemore next Sun , everyone's heading to Sakura's buffet restaurant located at Science Centre for lunch I think as part of Mother Day's celebrations . Since when there's a Sakura located inside Science Centre , that I have no idea.

Since I'm still on the topic of food , I swear I have the strangest weird food cravings around . Now I have an obsession with Tom Yam flavour instant noodles & also steamed sponge cake .

I used to eat a lot of steamed sponge cake when I was a kid & I don't like Tom Yam soup when I was younger but now I like it as it has a lot of kick .

Wonder what's next ?

Ok so yesterday Jiha or no 1 wasn't able to accompany me to go catch Another Sunday Afternoon's performance outside of Far East where it's behind 7-11 . They together with 3 other local acts such as Zero Sequence , performed as part of an event called Street Clap.

But last min I was accompanied by someone . While having dinner at Shaw Centre , I received a call from Thomas asking me whether am I gonna watch ASA since I haven't seen them performed yet & then he said he will be coming down or should I say rushing down from home to watch them again since last Fri , he already caught ASA & Allura performed at Home Club .

To me , I think Thomas's a good photographer & an even bigger local music supporter . If you put his 'acheivements' & compared it with mine , I'm just a small fry.

So after dinner , I walked back to Far East & Zero Sequence was performing . I only watched a bit as they were 1/2 way though their set & I have to say they're not bad .

I spotted S'pore Idol 2 finalist Paul Twohill & S'pore Idol 1 finalist Maia Lee was hosting Street Clap & she's so petite ! I seen Paul a couple of times in person , I think the last time I saw him was last Dec , at LIME Sonic Bang.

ASA was supposed to perform at 8.30pm as what Caleb told me but they didn't took the stage til 8.50pm or so . Concidentally they were the last band to perform yesterday night . I guess Street Clap was saving the best for last ? haha

Around this time , Thomas came by . I don't know where he came from haha he just popped outta nowhere . I told him I was standing near the sound system . He thought I was near where the amps were .

Before that I tried in vain to listen to 987FM cos usually every Fri from 8-10pm they will broadcast the 987FM Top20 countdown & aww The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus's Face Down are not at No.1 anymore!

If they were they would have been No.1 for 1 month ! I don't know who's the new No.1 yet but I do know that SkiVe's The Same Old Sky made its debut at No.20 sweet !

Maybe I check them out next Fri night at Home Club since I haven't seen them perform yet . They said that if I were to come , they will dedicate/play Lost Again just for me haha!

Anyway ASA were the last band to perform & 1st thing that came to my mind when I saw Caleb onstage ? Why's he wearing long sleeve ??

ASA are a trio , with Caleb on guitars/vocals , Elf on bass & Zhi Wei on drums . Their set lasted about 30 mins or so . The sound system was pretty bad some parts couldn't really hear Caleb + the crowd wasn't happening . I guess it's like that in an outdoor gig & during their set Thomas was taking pictures of ASA.

But still I enjoyed their performance & didn't know that Caleb has a lot of fans who're mostly girls haha & I like the way he plays his guitar . Quite unique if you ask me & no I'm not sucking up just bcos I know him . You get the real deal from me.

After their set was done , Thomas & I stayed behind to talk to ASA while they were at the midst of packing up cos whether I like it or not , I have to go up & say hi to Caleb haha

Finally Caleb & I met each other face to face & he's even taller than I imagine , not to mention taller than me too ! So this means that I have to look up to him like iterally haha & he ranks quite high in the looks department you know haha .

Caleb if you're reading this , you owe me a coffee/tea or 2 hor haha

I asked Caleb why was he wearing a long sleeve jacket & it's bcos he wants to conceal the T shirt design that he was wearing underneath his jacket & it's a weird cat that was supposedly drowned in a cup with the whole X.X on it haha & who was the culprit who got him this ? None other than Dan -_- . Why am I not surprised ?

I didn't saw Dan nor Jacq yesterday cos of his condition . Hopefully when he made a full recovery I go gatecrash his house if he don't mind.

Managed to talk to bassist Elf too & he's a nice chap too & surprisely he knows Dan too cos the local music scene's small & Elf also knows that I'm a 'big' Electrico fan . I seriously wonder what on earth Dan has been telling Elf & Caleb about me , hopefully nothing negative or else I will come after him , nah I wouldn't I'm too nice...NOT

If I didn't asked Elf what's his job profession , I wouldn't have guessed it at all judging from his get up & not to mention piercings . Looks really can be deceiving & to think I initally find it hard to put Caleb & his job profession together . Elf's on the extreme side haha .

Didn't managed to talk to drummer Zhi Wei hopefully next time!

I remembered when I got back home after all this , my mum shot me a dirty look (once again) when she asked me why am I mixing with this group of people cos I know that she doesn't have a good impression on 'rock stars' but at the end of the day they're just normal people like you & me & these people hold reputable jobs , they're not like loan sharks/drug addicts ya'll know.

Then again she can't choose/restrict who I mix with too . I suppose this's what you get when I behave like a 10 year old kid but my mentality/thinking is somewhat of a 30 year old adult which's why I have trouble befriending/knowing people cos sometimes my thoughts can be quite cheem & also just for the record I'm not close to my Uni classmates.

But with that said I take full responsiblity on this issue cos my mum's worried who I mix with since she knows the people that I'm close to they're people whom I know outside the Uni circuit so I understand where she's coming from.

If you ask me it's better than not having any friends & I can honestly say that I have met some of the nicest people ever since I started to dab in the local music scene & it has been a journey & somewhat life changing . & they have treated me with kindness/warmth/love & also like me for who I'm & not what I'm which's great !

& speaking about gigs & all , cos of the fact that I'm having a long break , I will foresee that I will attending more local gigs in time to come . In fact if I'm game enough I might be attending 2 more in the next 2 weeks to come.

& oh before I forget , a big big big happy b'day to Des , the coolest bassist around for Electrico/Phorous/Typewriter & to his twin brother Edmond too :) & oops I thought today is the twins's b'days but it's not . It was yesterday but hey better late than never eh

Oh this's a last min decision on my part but later on tonight at about 8.30pm or so , I'm going to watch another local band Another Sunday Afternoon perform just outside of Far East Plaza . I did asked around whether anyone's game enough to tag along with me & verdict? I'm going solo as always but no hard feelings on my part !

I did asked my mum for permission on whether I can go & she said yes as long as I return home early , no sweat

& it's official , I have befriended someone new again in the form of ASA's lead singer/guitarist Caleb . Have been talking to him for the past few days via MSN/MySpace , nice chap he's & he's funny lah in a good way .

I haven't really told Caleb that I'm coming later on tonight since yesterday night he was sorta egging me to go see him perform which I will do just that later on.Maybe I should do a song request thingy again as I want ASA to play The Great Excuse . But regardless whether that can be done or not , I will show up for ASA's performance & the event they're playing for's something called Street Clap.

phew the hangover or should I say chocolate overdose has been cured after I spent the whole of yesterday downing water , water & more water cos I looked like a state of mess but now it's over thank goodness !

watched a couple of music videos on youtube/myspace yesterday night of Mika Nakashima ! It's strange but I haven't caught any of her music videos til yesterday . I like her videos she's good , such as MY SUGAR CAT , ALL HANDS TOGETHER , I LOVE YOU , Mienai Hoshi which means Invisible Star , Sunao na Mama which means The State Of Honesty & her so far only #1 single to date GLAMOROUS SKY which she sang & acted in NANA the movie .

I love the song of BLACK & BLUE as it's such a sexy dance-a-long song but was a bit disappointed when I saw the video cos it was merely pics , pics & more pics of Mika !

Hui Li's labtop was being a bitch as it didn't let me view Mika's videos cos the YES album that I bought , it came with a DVD containing her videos so had no choice but to settle for 2nd best . I just wish there was a video to accompany Dance With The Devil as I really like the song.

& oh god another cutie alert in the form of Kellan Lutz ! You might be wondering Kellan who ? Well he's that hot guy who appeared in Hilary Duff's With Love video & he's so cute ! I iterally stared at him when I was watching With Love yesterday during the Pop 10 countdown & the fact that he's blonde's a big plus point HAHAHA

Talk about an overkill . Yesterday I thought it was bad that I had a cold but today it's worst & it's official I have a hangover & I'm feeling pretty much sick in the gut .

Now I don't drink but I do know what a hangover feels like & what's the culprit this time ? chocolate fondue ! Ya man chocolate founde of all things & blame me for saying no to chocolate founde yesterday night when I went to my cousin's house to celebrate his daughter's 2 year old birthday & there was a small chocolate fountain being set up .

Being a chocolate addict , I went straight to the chocolate fountain , dip the chopped bananas & mashmallows inside the machine & just like Pringles , once you pop you can't stop which was what happened exactly .

I didn't ate the birthday cake (I surprise myself by not eating it for once! ) even though it was chocolate cos it was stuffed with blueberry . Eurgh , to me fruit should not appear in cakes period . My cousin's family likes blueberry/blackforest but I don't .

& needless to say I was starting to feel sick soon after cos of an overdose of chocolate founde . The fact that the chopped bananas started to look rotten to me didn't help matters . When I came back , it was straight to the toilet for me !

Thank goodness I didn't vomitted or something but you can't help that there's a sickening gut inside you which I'm still currently experiencing . So much so that I didn't ate breakfast cos of this .

Maybe I should lay off the chocolates for a while .

It's like someone just poured cold water on top of me . I wanted to go & watch Spiderman3 which opens today in cinemas & what happened ? Am down with a cold now :(

It's the weather which has been so unpredictable of late . 1 moment it can be pouring like crazy , the next so hot like the Sahara desert so had no choice but to forego watching Spiderman3 today with my classmates.But hopefully I will be alright after taking some medication.

Somemore the tickets for today are more expensive than usual seeing that it's Labour Day . Doesn't help matters that I cannot use my free movie ticket voucher today .

Not sure if it's just for today or that I can't use it to watch Spiderman3 at all but we'll see.

Maybe later on in the afternoon , I spend my time watching the DVD of Mika Nakashima's YES which came together with the CD . I like her , she's good in doing all the big band jazz no.s & it will be good to see exactly how her videos look like cos I haven't seen any of her videos yet.
