Ugh what I saw on ggates yesterday & today was just childish & god damn pathetic . I showed that thread to Maggie on MSN & she was so pissed off as well & she gave that person a piece of her mind too . Now why can't some people act like their age at all ?

The same person who posted that stupid ' why do you think gareth's CD's so special to you ' posted another thread today in that she says sorry & yada yada yada . I got so fed up with her stupid childish behavior , I just told her off & what's worst she's 25 this year ! ffs & I'm younger than her somemore , isn't it weird ?

It's like I'm telling off someone who's older & supposed to be more mature in thinking & she along with a group of people who're fanatics & living in their own lala land , are in need of a serious big wake up & reality check . I know cos I used to belong to that group in ggates & looking back it was a really scary issue.

Back then sure it was all fun , sugar , spice & everything nice but the wake up call came when I got badly burnt during my O levels . In a way I'm thankful that the wake up call came at a proper time so that now , I wouldn't let history repeat itself.

That person commented that she has personal problems of her own & she further said that people were saying mean things about her & also on Gareth . FFS , it's not like people who gone off Gareth or don't support him in a fanatic crazy way said stuff like 'gareth you suck' or something , I just can't understand her at all & I thought other people on there were bad .& also it seems to me that she just can't accept criticisms & expect people to only say nice things about her .

Pfft , if that's the case , then everyone should just tell white lies if that's the case . She has been driving me & Maggie up the wall for quite a while now so yesterday & today were kinda like the final straws for each of us so much so that she shot back with a rather harsh but firm reply.

It's about time those idiots wake up & realise that Gareth's not the best or anything . Which's why I'm not going to let myself repeat history again . I still support Gareth but now not so much as before & I still do listen to his music but once in a while now , not an everyday affair anymore too but if he's coming back with new material , I will listen cos music's non subjective & I'm sure with a decent management team , he can do fine . If not probably better .

& oh on my way to the temple this afternoon with my mum , I passed by Amanda's house haha . Was taking bus when I saw her house . Man nice place she stays at , cool.

& usually when I go to the temple & pray , it will be all hot & humid but man this time it's not . It was pouring like crazy , even my brolly can't shelter me that much but yeah eariler I went there to pray for lots of things , pratical ones to be precise in which I pray to the godness of mercy that I will be able to pass my exams & then some .

I'm not like reaching for the stars & all , I just hope to pass my subjects with decent grades but hey if I manage to get good grades overall , then it's just an added bonus.

Went to watch Rob B Hood after school & haha it was so hilarious , slap stick comedy & can see that Jackie Chan & Louis Koo has a lot of onscreen chemistry & hahaha , Louis Koo as 'mummy' while Jackie Chan as 'daddy' in the movie . Cute & get this Louis Koo's character's called erm Octopus . Jackie's no better , his character name's Thongs or is it Slippers -.-

but in general I enjoyed it , the baby in the movie's so cute but the plot's really refreshing but yet there're lots of laughs & themes surrounding family & that $'s not the most important thing in this planet which's cool , a mixture of everything I suppose.

& Louis Koo's 1 damn hot boyish looking Hong Kong actor . I have always liked him ever since I saw him acting in some great HK drama series & man even though he's 35 , he still looks as young as ever . Did he find the fountain of youth or something?

Ooh Linda said that she's gonna jam with the guys & Natalie tonight at ET's house cos they want to prepare for the gig this coming 11th Oct & hur hur she said that she will be only fetching Natalie & not the guys , especially Y cos Y apparently stays near ET & somemore with her being the only person in the band who drives , she put on her MSN name that the guys would have to walk haha

I know that 1 of the guys is currently taking driving lessons , I think should be ET , not Y or maybe the other way round . Not sure but they better pass & stop troubling Linda & asking her to be their personal driver.Very bad man if you ask me!

& had a lovely conversation with Fuzz yesterday night on MSN & haha he said so many nice things about me in which at some time , my ego suddenly became big & quite swollen , so much so that it can't go though the door hee

but man he's such a lovely dude although I only know him for quite a short while but could tell from the conversations that I exchanged with him that he's a nice person & among the stuff he said about me , all of them are so flattering & you can more or less say that they're so god damn great compliments haha

I should treat him to coffee sometime if you ask me & I might probably meet him for the 1st time during 11th Oct . Might have to give him a sms reminder to remind him to try to come , scully he forgets.

It's gonna be weird seeing Fuzz in person although I know how he looks like from his pics in MySpace & MSN but still I think 11th Oct will be really fun . Looking forward to see Lunarin & their sister band The Love Experiment perform back to back in their acoustic sets & after that there will be a Q & A session with the audience so that's something I haven't took part in before so bet that it will be a really nice experience.

The guys of Lunarin haven't seen me in person yet , already told Linda to tell ET & Y during their jamming session that I'm coming & she just gave me this during our MSN conversation yesterday :: :)

Today was the last session of English & yup I did my 2nd presentation in front of Miss Lo & the whole class & phew what a huge relief . Was hoping that my current state of condition wouldn't get in the way but thank goodness it didn't .

I didn't realised that I pratically used up like the whole space of the whiteboard before presenting lol cos Miss Lo wanted everyone to make use of the whiteboard as a visual aid but anyhoo so glad that I got that over & done with.

I was going all & out with cos I wanted to at least try to do well for it cos I'm worried for the overall exam but ah was a relief to get this dreaded presentation over & done with.

After that , it was break time & I stayed behind cos I wanted to hear the feedback that Miss Lo will give after everyone did theirs & wow whee before that , I went outside the class to purge the remaining poison within my body & was surprised when Tasha walked past me & said 'good speech' . Thought that was cool cos honestly getting 'showered' with praises wasn't my main objective while presenting.

Miss Lo 1st of all commented that she was quite surprised that I was from ITE . My 1st reaction was that didn't I told you before that I was from ITE ? -.- but yeah I had really good feedback from her which's definitely not a bad thing & we talked a while about my life back in ITE & she said something really heartwarming in that I could go far with the experiences & knowledge that I gained during my 2 years in ITE which's like wow & I scored 42/50 which's like woot woot , fanastic . 2 marks higher than my 1st presentation yay

& then she returned back the papers to the listening + writing & resources test papers . Everyone more or less did well for the listening test , I mean it's a listening test after all so if I failed it then something's wrong with my hearing haha . But anyway I got 35/38 which's pretty alright , I'm sure got some folks got like full marks or something.

Now here comes the part that I dreaded , the results to my writing & resources paper . Must admit that I seriously thought that I would flunk the paper big time as 2 weeks before I took the test , I was given 3 different sets of business articles that were like 8-10 pages long & in which on the exact test day , I will be doing just 1 outta 3 & the twist's that each of my classmate will do a different article , just like in random order .

Which means some will probably do business article A , B or C & yup you guess it I couldn't be arsed to read the articles & not to mention prepare for the summary writing (in which I flunked it aka 4/10 -.- ) in advance so on the day of my test I thought to myself damn I'm gonna be dead meat.

To make things worst , I was given the hardest business article outta the whole lot which's like I'm gonna die for sure x2 . So heck , I just try to write whatever I can so when the papers were returned back , I was thinking at most give me a scraping pass grade & that 25/50 is good enuff . If not I was expecting a fail grade as the paper was notoriously difficult to do & constitutes 20% outta my overall coursework.

So imagine my shock when I got my paper from Eric & I let out a big WHAT THE HELL when that happened ! I scored 38/50 which was really OMG on a big scale as I totally didn't expect it & I was very surprised that I did really well for the notetaking & academic features portions . I thought my notetaking skills were lousy & not to mention on paraphasing in which I thought I totally sucked at although I bombed at summary writing.

These 3 sections pulled me up a hell lot . I was most surprised for these 3 parts in which notetaking & academic features I scored a full 10/10 while paraphasing I got a rather impressive 7/10 so which means that tonight I can officially sleep in peace haha

Well , I was feeling much better as I had been so crabby sick for the past few days so I took Amanda's advice & went to see the doctor after I had lunch . I initally wanted to drag this matter & go see the doctor tomorrow but I better go like now to prevent my condition from getting bad to worst & tsk , after examining me , he said that I had a virus & possibly a bit of stomach flu & gave me some medicine to take.

But good news's that my condition's improving & somemore I can take the whole day tomorrow to recover as I have no school so I hope I can recover in due time.

Even though I did my fair share of presentations in ITE in which I had to do presentations for almost all of my subjects (with the exception of PE haha) during the last 2 years , I still get the jitters before I do them . Initally it was horrible , in my 1st semester I have no experience in doing this so I had no choice but to learn on the job but slowly it's like 2nd nature to me as I had great lecturers whom bothered to take the time to correct my flaws & all so it was really nice.

So yes PLEASE I hope I will be at least well enough to stand & talk for 5 mins or less tomorrow as this presentation's accountable to my English subject . How ironic , outta all the subjects that I'm taking , I fear English the most even though it's my 1st language . I don't think so , considering that I FAILED it during my O levels . Yup you hear that right ! I got a D7 if you want to know my grade anyway.

So today I had my last session in Econs with Mr Edwin & oh god can't believe this as he's a really good lecturer imo & I do hope that he will be teaching the class again next sem . Crossing fingers that will happened cos well it will be hard to communicate & start all over with a new lecturer .

& I got back my results from the 2nd test & woo hoo , scored another victory aka full marks aka 40/40 for it yay which means only it's more or less down to the final exams which makes up a whopping 60% outta my overall :S

gawd , the % figures are very intimidating to me cos my incourse work's only 40% while my final exam's 60% so I think I better start mugging for the exams as it will come my way in less than 3 weeks's time or less as I have a tendency to leave everything at the last min.

I usually study like 3 days before any test or exam *sheepishly* I know it's a very bad habit , I'm not the smartest or most hard working person around , I'm terribly lazy but mmm I better do something to curb this bad , very bad habit of mine now.

Well at least today something came good outta it & ooh L'oreal Hydrafresh Aquagel moisturier rocks ! It has a lovely smell when I slapped it on my face & it seems non greasy & didn't wreck havoc on my skin which's a good sign !

I had a nice time talking to Dan in the morning when I was having my break in school . Wow been ages since I last spoke to him , almost 3 weeks ago or something ?

I actually called him 1st but then before I could say anything , he said that he would call me back after that . Not sure what happened but I was like erm ok sure.

& after a while he called me back & 1st thing I did was to offer my congrats to him as Love In New Wave's no1 baby & not to mention thanked him for mentioning me & Saha on air last Fri which was super rad & cool.

& before I could go on with the conversation , was telling him that I felt really crap & he asked me why I don't want to take MC so I gave my reasons on why I don't want to & is it just me or after I said that , he was sorta mocking & teasing me in that I'm too guai & don't want to skip lessons -.-

Hmph so much for being so thoughtful to begin with dude but nah that's ok , I'm used to this already !

I went on to 'grill' him on tonight in which Electrico's gonna perform with other acts such as Taufik , Tanya Chua , Taiwanese boyband Energy at the S'pore Idol results show cos obviously I will be watching haha so yeah it was pretty cool , I just hope that the sound wouldn't suck .

& yup not going to boycott Mediacorp this time after that disaster May Day incident where I waited in front of the damn tv for 3 hours & what happened ? Mediacorp didn't showed their performance grr . Of all the performances that Mediacorp have to cut , they have to cut Electrico's one out d'oh -.-

Come to think about it , it's gonna be a bit strange & weird seeing the guys & girl later on when they performed on TV live as I have seen them in person & also them performing in gigs but this ? no man so hopefully they will outshine the Idols on stage as they're professionals haha

I only know from Dan that Jonathan & Hady will be performing Runaway with the band . I'm not sure if they're just gonna perform 1 song , I hope no but aw man Runaway again?! Jonathan already butchered the song before & this time he's going to do that again -.- . Jonathan better redeem himself later on if you ask me !

Also I did asked Dan about something that my Econs lecturer Mr Edwin was saying a few sessions ago which sorta stuck me which's relating to the music industry . It was quite interesting as I asked Dan about on what Mr Edwin said to the class & initally I thought it wasn't true at all.

But anyway it's good to learn something new everyday.

& not to forget , I asked Dan about Dave gonna voice the evil alien man eating & blood sucking orchid plant Audrey II in Little Shop Of Horrors . Initally I thought Dave's gonna dressed as the plant but nope he's not . Come to think about it , Dave will look really funny & stupid being dressed up like a plant . It's like HELLO , a bit of a joke if you ask me -.-

That was really hilarious , both of us couldn't stop laughing even I myself couldn't stop sniggering about this , well at least Dave will be voicing Audrey II backstage though haha as the orchid plant will be a mechanical one lol

& ole Dan has finally changed his phone ! like about time & long overdue I say . In fact he has changed to the same phone that my tution teacher's using at the moment . It looks really good , I seen the phone before & yup it looks really snazzy & haha no need to waste 2 1/2 frickin minutes just to send a dumb sms yay

I hope later on when I watch them perform on the S'pore Idol results show , I try not to laugh at Dan cos I haven't seen him since the Waterfest & not to mention he got his hair cut before he went for reservist so yeah I try not to even though honestly I think I might haha

Before I forget , HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the coolest chick/keyboardist of Electrico , Amanda ! yay today's her birthday & how cool's that eh?

Suzy has already met Angeline in London & she gave me a brief account on how everything went & yay so glad that she loved the advanced birthday pressies ! & oh my god both of them went to meet McFly & The Click Five after their gig finished ! *sulks & is very jealous right now*

Suzy told me that The Click Five were totally kick ass , that I can imagine . I do hope that Angeline took tons of pics of both bands even though I think that she will mostly take pics of her dear 'ol Harry -.- but ah I'm looking forward to see her pics , especially on Click Five's Ethan & Ben , both members in which I totally adore !

In which Angeline asked me to pass whatever stuff I want to give to Suzy to her & Suzy has been asking me all this while what's the secrecy & why I can't just tell her what am I giving her ?

Well now she knows & aww she got the 2 birthday cards from me & Electrico stuck & pinned up on her room & not to mention she loves the badges that I gave her as well & hun don't sweat , hope you will cherish & love the gifts :)

So I already caught the finals results show of S'pore Idol eariler & yup Electrico did Runaway with Hady & Jonathan & verdict ? Both of them really butchered the song ! -.-

Hady , wah biang . He really can't do rock music at all ! It's quite obvious cos Hady was screeching waaay too much on the high notes while Jonathan was pretty alright .

Thankfully the sound was great cos Leonard was worried that it will sound horrible on live TV but luckily it didn't screwed up so phew .

& yes I did saw Dan on TV , he was at the left end side of the stage where Amanda was , jamming & jumping around with his lead guitar & omg , his hair ! He cut it quite short & looked really cute & boyish , reminds me of the triangle hairstyle he had way back in the Oct 2004 article of LIME haha & yeah I did laughed a few times when I saw the camera zooming towards his direction eariler haha & hmmm he looked 10 years younger than his real age man LOL

Then again he's really boyish in person which's the truth cos I met him quite a no of times & can vouch for that !

Wow Amanda , the birthday girl , she was smoking hot & was wearing a really unusual outfit that I can't really describe but she looked great while Hui Li was screaming at Dave when the cameras were zooming at him -.-

Although it was a bit weird seeing them performed live on TV , still great electrifying show they did despite them doing Runaway (they have an option of choosing to perform other songs aka 24 of them from their 2 albums but must pick this -.- ) only with the remaining 2 idols & congrats to Hady , the new S'pore Idol !

Daniel said something to me today . Erm well via the radio that's . Now I know you must be going ??? but yeah , he cohosted today's 987FM weekly Top10 chart which airs every Fri night 8-9pm aka S'pore official countdown eariler not too long ago with Daniel Ong .

No wonder I suspect something was up when he SMS'd me like 7.15pm ish & sorta asked me whether would I like to record that down or not . & to think initally I didn't wanted to cos I couldn't be arsed to but still , heck what did I have to lose ?

Probably a lot cos thankfully I decided to record it eventually & listened to the countdown whether Electrico's in or not . Overall , the interview was really hilarious & quite uncensored (not that both of them were swearing expletives on air) , among which's something about Dave & him going to voice an evil alien man eating & blood sucking orchid plant in a musical called Little Shop Of Horrors (what a title for a musical eh?) -.- . That really made me go -.- & ??? . & also it's pretty weird cos both guys , their names are the same ! except for their surname/s & I probably be imagining Daniel Ong be calling Dan by his surname & vice versa.

I do know for quite sometime that Dave will be doing rehearsals for it in Nov but HUH , about him voicing an evil alien man eating & blood sucking orchid plant ... quite hard to picture that in my head . & guess what the character's name's ? Audrey II ! haha !

After the 8th song was played (aka Christian Bautista's The Way You Look At Me) , DJ Ong was asking Dan on some band related stuff . Something about their fans & how much they have been supporting Electrico like crazy (yours truly included) for the past 2-3 years & he was asking to name 2 people on top of his head who has been helping them a lot & then some & I was so shocked yet stunned when Dan said me & Saha's names !

I went blank for a sec while I was listening & mind you this's national radio ( god damn knows how many people were tuning in eariler ) even though techincally the countdown wasn't done live during 8-9pm but still , MY GOD although in a way felt quite embarassed yet flattered when Dan said my name though haha cos I wasn't expecting it at all , not a single bit !

I was like ' did Dan just say hi to me on national radio?! ' hahaha , that's so funny & it's quite strange to hear him on air if you ask me but that expression I gave when he was saying hi to me on radio , I leave you all to your imagination haha

& is it just me or did Daniel Ong just said that I'm crazy or something ? hmph & it's like hello I'm not living in planet no talent ok.

But still what Dan said on air was sooo nice & sweet , really made my day big time cos today or should I say this week I didn't really had the time of my life but awww this's so cool & YES folks Love In New Wave's officially no1 in S'pore !

Has been almost 2 years since they last snagged their 1st ever no1 single I Want You way back in Oct 2004 so which means Love In New Wave's their 2nd no1 single woo hoo aka they kicked Beyonce's Deja Vu off the spot after it stayed barely a week on top .

I'm so happy for them cos they definitely deserve getting Love In New Wave to no1 & in a way it's quite long overdue too cos other songs that they released aka Runaway & Good Time , they did charted yes but didn't made it to no1 so ole , well done !

& yeah after what Dan said about me & Saha , it makes me feel really special & proud of helping/supporting them & local music (Lunarin included) . Erm or so I think but yeah , I'm happy to be back being well me & yup yup , after listening to it , I SMS'd Dan thanking him & you lucky people will be getting a copy of the file that I recorded eariler during 8-9pm.

Caught a new video this morning on MTV before I left the house for school & guess what I saw ? Hoobastank's Born To Lead & wow it's so awesome & I bet they probably spent like a bomb to make/produce the video as it's so anime & manga ish & I tell you , I'm so smitten with the lead guitarist Dan Estrin as he's so damn cute haha . Hui Li likes the lead singer Doug Robb though , for me erm..no .

I don't really like Born To Lead when I 1st heard it & I think both that song & If I Were You were released simultaneously , the same thing goes for Nelly Futardo's Maneater & Promiscious & I definitely still prefer If I Were You as it's better but after seeing the video to Born To Lead , I'm starting to like it a bit more but yeah it's nice to see it & to me , 1 of the better videos they have released in their music career so far.

I also saw Panic! At The Disco's But If It's Better If You Do & I actually did caught it on MTV a couple of times but didn't watched it in full as that time I don't know much info about them , not to mention their music.

But after I saw the video to their 1st single I Write Sins Not Tragedies , I thought eh they're not bad after all even though honestly speaking I don't know what on earth are they singing about -.- & I know that lots of people have compared them with Fall Out Boy as both bands play almost the same genre of music + they have really long song titles + Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz signed the band to his DecayDance records so that's something.

But come to think about it , I don't think so . Aside from the crazy long song titles , music wise , I don't think they sound alike but yeah Panic! At The Disco are cool . But If It's Better If You Do takes centrestage in a strip/masquerade club theme though.

Was reading today's papers & haha apparently the gigs that StompCast Tag24 organised , after every gig that each local band has finished , there will be a Q&A session with the audience. Which happened yesterday when Auburn Epiphany & Plain Sunset took the stage.

Now that's a change for once , instead of the usual bunch of journalists/reporters asking any singer/band questions . Maybe I better start planning what questions I would love to ask Linda & the guys .

Definitely not the usual stupid BORING ones like 'when was your band born' , 'what kind of music you play' or worst still ' how many members are in your band' . I think the last question has to be the most idiotic & lame with a capital L when you see 3 people in front of the stage if you were to ask that !

Looks like I have to browse though magazines that I read on a daily basis & do my homework so that on Oct 11th , should I be given a chance to ask them a question or 2 , I will ask sensible & logical ones.Er... I hope.

Ok so I didn't did my presentation for today cos of time constraints but doesn't mean that I'm being let off the hook . I still have to do it next Wed , by hook or by crook . Which means that this will buy me some time so that I can probably prepare my presentation over the weekend if I can be arsed to that's.

After school ended , I went to Raffles City to shop & eat silly til I drop in order for me to just have some fun . I went to stock up my silver jewellery collection at Perlini Silver (gorgeous set of blings I bought , so affordble yet swanky looking they're the best !) , went to try fried mars bars & deep fried cheesy curry chicken pieces at Chippy . Was the 1st time trying food at Chippy & um.. on 1st impression , fried mars bars ? It sounds weird yeah cos people usually eat mars bars just like that , not when it's fried.

But it tasted quite good actually but a tad too sweet for me when you combine 4 pieces of fried mars bars with a rather big scoop of vanilla ice cream + hershey chocolate syrup that was dripping everywhere in sight ! Damn , it's so bloody sinful but doubt that I will eat that again cos it's just too much for me to stomach.

& with me having an enormous appetite , after Chippy , I stopped by The Soup Spoon for a regular soup bowl of 1 of their signature soups , which's mushroom flavor & to think I wanted to order a large bowl . I barely could finished my order.

Tomorrow , not a day that I'm looking forward to aka encore of my presentation assignment . Yeah who doesn't dread talking in front of the class ? I do for sure. I mean even though I did quite a no. of presentations before , but still I can get last min jitters if you know what I mean.

& Angeline's leaving for London at 10pm today woo hoo . It's like FINALLY she's jetting off to see McFly + their opening act The Click Five in London baby + meeting Suzy in person . Oh god , it's like wow & I'm so jealous suddenly , I already bugged the hell outta her to take lots of pics of Ben & Ethan for me hehe so that's definitely something to look forward to wheeeee

& did I mention ,she will be spending 3 weeks there ? *sulks* . I was like !!!! when I found out from her that The Click Five will be opening for McFly as I adore both bands for their music & then some haha . So in a way I'm happy for her , she saved her butt out from last year to now for the trip so well done in that she's enjoying the fruit of her labor now . See , that's the thing about me , I always say nice things but in real life , I'm not.

& my mood lightened up when I found out that Maggie has received a letter that I penned & sent to her last week with some extra goodies that I posted together with the letter in the mail . Maggie you don't know how your post has cheered me up so many thanks.

Something rather scary happened today in the afternoon & when I saw that incident , it suddenly dawn to me that it could have happened to me ...

Ok , let me made something clear in that most of the time , I don't really listen to my mum cos like most mums , she always nag & nag at everyday stuff . At times I couldn't stand it as I don't like people who nag at me til I can't take it .

Among the times she nagged at was that it's best to use the overhead bridge & that I should alight 1 bus stop before the originated bus stop cos it's very dangerous to just cross the road where the traffic's really heavy .

The area that I live in , the traffic situation can be really unpredictable . Of course naturally being lazy to use the overhead bridge, I obviously couldn't be damn about it . But after I saw an accident that took place eariler where a young lady was hit by an ongoing car while she was crossing the road to my house , that really shook me up .

No wonder I sensed something was wrong when my dad came back so soon cos he actually left not too long ago in wanting to do his usual stuff outside.

So I guess this probably means that crossing the road from my house to the bus stop opposite is outta the question for me now . I mean I don't want to die so early at such a young age man . Somemore I have a future ahead of me that I still want to map out , erm sorta.

So today's thought's never take any overhead bridge you see in S'pore for granted . Or else every single day , you will see lots of unfortunate accident reports on the news & in the papers . So be thankful for the existence of the overhead bridge !

Talked to Linda in the morning a while before I went out cos she saw the message I left on her MySpace profile in that I told her that Dalston liked what he heard about Lunarin's music which's cool as I lent him their album a few days ago.

I do hope that I will able to get the chance to see Linda & the guys next month when they will be doing an 1/2 hour acoustic set at Library @ Orchard from 7.30-8pm . I promised her that I try to be there cos just so happened that Oct 11th that week , will be my study week so I don't mind squeezing some time just to go watch Lunarin cos I haven't seen them performed yet . Even Fuzz was shocked beyond belief haha cos I remembered him telling me that Lunarin are great when comes to rocking out but we'll see.

She even told me that ET , Y & Tim know who I'm from the insane no.of comments I bomb her & Lunarin's MySpace haha . So far the guys haven't seen how I looked like cos I never posted pics of myself on the net but heh I see about that in days/weeks to come but chances are I will be going for their gig.

& I might be going eariler to catch Lunarin's sister band The Love Experiment at 7 - 7.30pm. So far I heard their stuff on MySpace , not too shabby although Linda was telling me that she described their music as 'child molester rock' . Erm.. right -.-

Angeline sent me promo pics of McFly's new single cover Star Girl & I let out a big EEEEE when I saw the pic ! Why ? cos Danny's hair had become like a bowl of maggie mee noodles god his hairstyle looked awful & she was mocking at me in that luckily she choose to idolise Harry & wah , have to say that he looked really damn hot in the promo pic of Star Girl . Then again to Angeline , she will go YA he's always has been like this hot on a daily basis -.-

Oh dear , so most probably her friend Alicia , Suzy & I will have to jump ship in supporting Harry now if that's the case haha ! Or either that PRAY that Danny revert back to his original hairstyle. Dude, the maggie mee curly hairstyle don't suit you in ANY bit !

So anyway after talking to Linda & Angeline , I made my way to see an old ex seconday school friend of mine Kelvin & mind you I haven't seen him for almost 3 years but still I was able to identify him haha . He hasn't really changed much but it was cool , managed to catch up with him on lots of things & yeah 1 thing's for sure , we both agreed that our secondary school life was pratically the worst time of our lives . Long story but I rather move on & don't dwell so much on the past.

& then from Queenstown MRT , I took a train all the way to Changi cos I wanted to see & send Serene off before she left for Bristol, UK for 3 long years for futher studies . I reached about 5.45pm ish or so but I was at Terminal 2 so had to take a skytrain to Terminal 1 in which she was there with her folks & erm extended family.

While waiting for somemore of her friends to come , I actually told her about the so called surprise that eventually didn't worked . She was cajoling me in what's it all about & then I casually told her that I wanted to ask 1 member of Electrico to come & sorta represent the band to send her off but everyone had things to do so adio has to scrap that idea.

Still , I gave her some things as a bon vovage gift so in a way I represented myself & the band lah haha

Dan wanted to come actually when I told him about this waay back after the Waterfest gig finished but he only managed to book out at like what 6.45pm ++ or so . He actually SMS'd me around that time & poor thing he was so exhausted but despite that , he still bothered to SMS me & pass on a message for Serene in which I did let her see it .

Such a nice person & I can't wait to see him again but I doubt I will be able to see him anytime soon as my exams are just around the corner & also next week , Electrico's going to perform on Wed at Bar None (yes again! it's like their 2nd home I tell you haha) & on the results show of S'pore Idol so probably in 2 weeks time or so.

& YES Ch5's going to broadcast that live on TV so they wouldn't be like Ch8 , who cut off from showing their performance during that damn MayDay concert wheeeee

Around 7pm , Serene's extended family came & wow , she's so likeable like a social butterfly , made me feel so small when I saw so many of her friends coming to send her off . Which's true on my part cos my social skills suck & I have a complex character so friends wise , I have a few close ones but doesn't matter , I paid a huge price in the past for some things that I'm not proud of . But then again the past's the past , no regrets living the current life I'm riding now.

When the time came for her to enter inside the airport , that was probably the hardest for her family & friends cos everyone didn't want to just say goodbye to her cos it's damn hard to do that cos she wouldn't be back til 2 years later or so . She gave me a bear hug before leaving & I promised to keep in touch with her via MSN .

Before that ,she gave me a postcard in which she wrote a few lines or so & nah it's not a crummy postcard Miss Chng haha but thanks I appericate what you wrote :) . It's the thought that counts.

When she went inside , oh dear , everyone's tears just flowed like a river, iterally . For me I didn't cos I'm a typical ice queen , takes a lot for me to tear so nope no tears . Her parents were so kind , gave me a lift to the nearest bus stop cos I wanted to go back to my paternal grandparents's house after all this happened cos everyone went back so I thought why not ?

While I sat in her parents's car , I saw her mum wiping tears off her face . Even her dad who was driving was also using his left hand to dry his tears too while his right hand was on the steering wheel . Could definitely tell that they're going to miss Serene a lot . Me too.

Oh well , it's not the end of the world *touchwood* . There's still the net to keep in contact with her so nothing's lost at all. & what you know , Su-H sent me a snailmail when my parents & I got back home . Was pleasantly surprised & appericate much on what she wrote in the letter , that really made my day :)

I'm SO glad that this week is finally coming to an end . Well sorta , this week has been rather hellish for me & next week I think it will be no better but oh well , I just take things 1 step at a time each day then.

Had a whole series of tests results that came back to me yesterday & today . I took my 2nd Accounting test yesterday & my lecturer marked the paper straightaway on the spot & I'm happy to say that I scored full marks aka 30/30 for it . I thought it will be hard but it was quite manageable.

I took my Maths test last week & I got back my results today . I seriously thought that I was dead meat but was really surprised when I obtained 76/100 & mind you , this Maths test of mine , the weightage's a whopping 35% + my coursework (5%) + the big exam (60%) so really relieved . Finally I can sleep in peace for now lol

My mum & I quarrelled yesterday night as usual over a stupid piece of paper aka my handphone bill . My bill came in last month in which it's stated S$42.56 . She was kinda yelling at me & asking me why the bill's so high (to her standard -.- ) . I shot back , saying that she should be glad that my bill isn't like S$300 or S$5,000 per month .

Then again on whole , it's a petty quarrel on my part as I'm really rebellious on whole . I don't like authority & when rules are in front of me , they're not meant to be follow . Instead they're meant to be broken mwahaha

While watching the results show for S'pore Idol yesterday night , was going on in that Electrico will be performing at the final results show on 25th Sept , Mon at the S'pore Indoor Stadium , my mum was giving me the face . I just ignore her.I'm just doing what I love to do.

Tomorrow , is a day in which I'm looking forward to 1/2 heartedly as I'm going to meet my old Sec school friend Kelvin in which we lost touch for like almost 3 years & catch up with lot of things in general.I haven't seen him since that day when I got back my crappy 'for god damn sake' O level results so that should be fun , I hope.

I'm not looking forward in sending Serene off to Bristol , UK at all later on after I meet up with Kelvin . Cos I'm not going to see her again til 2 years later although she will be there for 3 years to do her degree but then again , as what The Click Five's Say Goodnight put : " there's no easy way to say goodbye , so baby just say goodnight"

& oh , Love In New Wave's currently no2 this week within the whole of S'pore in the 987FM Top 10 chart . Was so hoping that it will go to no1 but alas it was held by Beyonce Feat Jay Z's Deja Vu , last week Love In New Wave was no5 so it's quite impressive .

Hopefully next week it will kick Beyonce off the top spot haha

Did some spring cleaning yesterday after I came back quite early from school . I threw away all of my old issues of LIME & TEENS cos well I kinda lost interest in reading both magazines already.

Somemore ever since LIME changed their format last Dec , it just suck to the crap . TEENS ? They did interviews & features concentrating on chinese/japanese & korean acts in which I don't really listen nor are into . Besides , they only set aside a small portion dedicated to conseulling stuff which's quite pathetic to me so not planning to buy them anymore.

Except for LIME , cos I'm still on a 1 year subscription plan so as much as I love to cancel it , I can't d'oh .

I love to gossip & 1 of my hobbies's to read the latest in hollywood & all . I mean who doesn't like it ? Gossiping's a pleasure that I really enjoy haha . I recently came across a magazine HOT which's great . It's a fortnightly mag , I paid S$3.50 for it & it's chock full of the latest gossips & news on celebs & it's really worth the buck.

Come to think about it , HOT reminds me of a very old magazine that I used to buy a lot when I was in secondary school , which was MAX . I was crushed big time when MAX discontinue & stop distribution so in a way kinda making up for lost time.

McFly posted up their new single on their MySpace . It's called Star Girl & dammit , it's SO catchy & I honestly think that it's so much better than Please Please which's so lame to me .

Apparently Please Please was written & inspired by Lindsay Lohan , no wonder Angeline hated the song initally haha . For me I didn't like it cos I thought it sounded limp & weak & definitely 1 of their weakest songs they released to date although that song , together with Don't Stop Me Now , went to no1 in UK & yeah it's a double A side.

Star Girl's so catchy , I can't stop humming to the melody & probably this might give the boys another UK no1 single ?

& oh before I forget , HAPPY BIRTHDAY Su-Hanna !!!!!!!! Woo finally & about time , you're officially 19 today hahaha . Hope you had fun erm camping -.-

I can't wait for this & next week to get over & done with . My schedule has been so terrible , it has been so crazy , it's no laughing matter . Sometimes when I'm watching the TV , I will be trying in vain to study at the same time which of course backfires cos I can't serve 2 masters.

Eariler I heard Elsa Lim's song Drift in which it's a track found in the Cancer Warriors CD , among other local acts who also contributed a song each to the disc . I heard her song on Leonard's MySpace & it's like so long overdue on my part but oh man , I love the song , I really do !

The lyrics really drawn into me like what bees are drawn to honey & ever since I stopped listening to the radio last Aug , I have to rely on people to recommend me good music acts . Nowadays the stuff that's being chugged out on MTV & radio , a majority of them are quite rubbish unfortunately.

I saw that Electrico & other local acts will be performing next Wed at Bar None again to raise $ for charity Mainly I Love Kids or MILK for short but this time , no I wouldn't be going . I already have swore not going to pubs/clubs/discos anymore & besides that day will be a school day for me .

Not to mention although there will be no cover charge being imposed on that day , I know for sure that my parents will not let me go for it . Then again might as well , cos I'm someone who don't like to go to such sleazy places . I don't smoke & drink & as a result , I hate & can't stand these places .

So I guess in a way that time when I went to see them & Auburn Epiphany performed at Bar None , it gave me the final push in that not to go to these places anymore + it's not necessary for me to go for every single of their gig , I will be bore to death iterally so yup & to set the record straight , I'm not a groupie of them & never will be.

can't believe it ,today's the birthday of my good friend Serene ! Even though I only know her barely a month or so , still it has been fun knowing her ! She likes Snow Patrol & Franz Ferdinand a lot ! Me too , I love their music but I think for her case , she hearts them like crazy haha .
I could be wrong , I don't know but I just have the assumption that she likes them more than just their music . Only recently I was exposed to Snow Patrol after I saw the video to their song Chasing Cars on MTV .
I love the song , it's so haunting yet beautiful . My classmate has their 4th album Eyes Open & I ripped only the 1st 3 songs that they released so far that's Chasing Cars , Hands Open & You're All I Have.
Outta the 3 , I still like Chasing Cars . Hands Open's very rocking . You're All I Have is kinda forgottable to me though . Probably I need to spin it a few more times before it gets registered in my head.
As they say , rock never dies yay & before I forget , real glad that Serene loves the card from Electrico & me even though I think there's a high chance that she will prefer the card from Electrico than me -.- but nah just kidding !

The post office's service speed's damn fast man . The package that I mailed to Serene on Fri , she received it like yesterday ! I was like what the hell man when she told me that on MSN eariler.

& to think I thought she will receive it from me tomorrow but ah well , she will get it sooner or later haha . Cos her 19th birthday's on Tue , I decided to send her 2 birthday cards in which I printed them out from the computer . In 1 of the cards , I personally write down messages & a note for her + the other card , there's a twist to it even though techincally both cards are printed out by me .

What twist you might ask ? Remember the Bar None gig which I went for the soundcheck before the actual event started ? I got the guys & girl of Electrico to work their magic & write some lovely messages on the card & also I asked Amanda & Desmond to decorate the envelope too .

I tell you , Desmond's great when comes to designing stuff cos he's actually the 1 who designed the album sleeves to their 2 albums so was amazed that he managed to whip out a nice design in such a short period of time despite him doing the soundcheck for the band & also being a mentor to Auburn Epiphany while they were doing their own soundcheck after Electrico did theirs.

& also I remembered Serene saying that only Dan autographed her album sleeves for the 2 albums so I thought heck , why not do something nice for her ? Er I mean something nice for once as basically & overall , I'm not a very nice person haha

So Serene , happy advanced birthday to you & I think you should probably frame or lament the card ! After all it's priceless haha . It's not everyday that such a well known & yet down to earth rock band like Electrico did such a cool thing for you , you know ! I mean how many of us mere mortals can boost of this eh ?

I went to watch S'pore Dreaming yesterday & the screening time was 3.05pm & guess what time I reached the cinemas ? 3pm sharp ! That's nuts man . It's my fault , I should not spend way too much time at the gym -.- & cos I hate waiting at times , I took 173 which went a really LONG winded route so was late but then again better late than never.

I like the story of S'pore Dreaming & it's basically something that I really relate to cos it deals with things that screams out S'porean whether it's the 4D lottery or the Singlish/Hokkien languages being used but after watching it , it made me realise that sometimes $ isn't everything at all.

When I was younger , I used to think that if I had loads of $ , it would made me the most happiest person on earth . But now that I'm older , I start to see that sometimes $ can be the root of all evil .

I'm not saying that $'s bad , I mean no 1 can complain if you're free of debts & etc but at times , people have to realise that certain things $ can't buy at all & not to mention some things can be priceless such as time & trust . Especially trust cos to me , it can be really easy to gain the trust of people but once you screw up & lose it , it's very difficult to gain back the same trust & expecting people to trust you again cos as the saying goes , once bitten twice shy.

& oh before I forget , Ronin's Black Maria was being played in the movie haha ! that's so cool man if you ask me !

Serene's leaving S'pore for Bristol , UK in exactly 1 week's time !! noooo :( can't believe it if you ask me & yeah I'm planning to send her off cos I wouldn't see her for like until 2 years later or so . I thought she will come back once in a while but nope , no such luck .

God that really suck & kinda regret not knowing her a bit eariler , I barely know her a month or so but she has been really nice but still can't help it but feel a bit sad that she's leaving soon & that I will only get to communicate with her in a non physical state aka IM-ing on MSN .

Ah well , things do happen.

Angeline was showing me pics of Westlife in which she took at yesterday's night concert . Has been 5 long years since they last came back to S'pore for a full scale gig even though they did came back in 2002 but that was only for a showcase.

I saw the pics & WOW , Nicky looked hot man hahaha but I didn't really liked the opening costumes that they wore . Shane & Mark looked really weird although all 4 of them were wearing white . & she was in row 1 , way out in front as she bought the most expensive tickets but can you imagine row 1 which's like so super rad ?

But still Westlife got the crowd going on after Brian McFadden left & after 7 long years in the business , they're still going strong . Gotta respect that.

Gonna watch another movie later on after I go & work out . This time it's S'pore Dreaming & I heard lots of positive reviews on the movie so hopefully the movie does live up to the reviews & expectations from critics.

Damn disappointed in myself once again . Today I took my Maths test & god it was SO difficult , I'm officially toasted . Now I only can pray that I will scrap though it & get at least a pass . Well at least now I know that I have to buck up in my Maths as I'm terrible in it & also where I stand currently at , standard wise & also not to be so lazy like a pig.

So after that fisco , I made my way to Westmall in mind to watch Little Man . While I was on my way there in which I took the MRT , I was in a really shitty mood & you imagine I wanted to study my Econs test next week while I was on my way there but as expected I didn't had the mood to .

Thank goodness for good music in my mp3player or else in a way my life will be kinda meaningless.

Today's actually the day when Linda performed her solo acoustic gig at The Substation . Wanted to go initally but I didn't eventually as I found out from her the gig's only 10 mins !! even though she put 8pm-9.30pm on her MySpace . Haiyo , 10 mins only ? Tsk & somemore I don't know where the venue's but I already let her know about this but she's really understanding.

& that I should come next month instead for Lunarin's acoustic solo gig instead as she will be performing with the guys so yeah I try to make some time next month to catch Lunarin perform as I haven't seen them performed live just as yet.

So when I reached Westmall , the screening time for Little Man was actually 3.05pm . Went to the post office to run some errands & then spent the rest of my time blowing some steam before I went to watch Little Man.

Mind you this's the 1st movie that I watched with a rating slapped to it . Usually I watch movies rated G or PG but Little Man's rated NC16 haha but surprisely quite a lot of people were in the cinemas.

Little Man's hilarious it's the same actors who brought you White Chicks & despite reading quite a considerable amount of negative reviews of it , it's actually good although I must admit it can't match up to White Chicks which was really fanastic but still it's a good movie on whole.

I laughed so much while watching it & that's my kinda genre aka senseless brainless slapstick comedy . Just don't let me watch a horror movie ! Not even in a date as I got no guts to watch such movies . It's quite idiotic to pay like 8 bucks to get yourself scared silly.

Linda gave me some tough love yesterday night on MSN right after I blogged what happened to me & she's so nice , gave me some words of encouragment in which I really am grateful for despite me knowing her for only a few months. So if you're reading this Linda , thanks a bunch ! Maybe you & Dan can offer to be my older god sister & brother respectively then haha

but at this moment I'm trying in mind to come up with a schedule to fix into my lifestyle in school & at home.So crossing fingers that things will work out this time round.

So anyway after today's lessons , I rushed out straight away from school to attend the awards/graduation ceremony for the east division of my ex college . At the end , only mum accompanied me .

My dad chickened out cos the dress code for the event was formal in which for guys they have to wear long sleeved shirt & a tie . Not to say that my dad doesn't have both in his warerobe but it's just that he's too lazy to wear them -.-

I met Dila when I went up to the convention centre 1st & saw her parents too . They were nice folks & Dila looked really damn formal & smart in her pantsuit attire . Made me feel so inferior when I saw her man . We talked a while & my mum wanted to take some pics of the 2 of us at 1 corner so why not ?

My mum went into the auditorium 1st cos guests have to be sitted a bit eariler than the award recipients & also wanted to wait for Su-H as well cos she has a habit of turning up late all the time from way back haha

Surprisely she , her mum & sis Tanya arrived early man , record record LOL . She looked really smartly attired unlike me who was dressed so sloppy like 1 kind . Su-H even jokingly said that she looked like those people who're working in POSB LOL

Anyway we all talked a bit before heading into the auditorium & cos of the fact that I was getting a course medal in addition to the cert , I was sitted quite far away from them so ya no choice man have to tahan for almost 2 hours before going up on stage to receive my awards.

Now I have to say that compared to the graduation ceremony of mine which I attended in April for the West division , today's one's on a big grand scale cos the media was there & lots of corporate guests attended the event so you can imagine.

& also they gave each guest a programme booklet containing all the names of 617 award recipients for Certificate Of Merit , Course Medal & other names of awards categories too . The 3 of us spotted our names inside & we felt so honoured haha

Initally I thought we were the only 3 from our class from Business IT but nope was wrong . Da Hua & Tee Yong's names were on the COM list but they didn't came today . Maybe they can't be bothered with coming but oh whatever.

When I went up on stage to receive my awards from the CEO of ITE , I was pretty nervous cos so many pairs of eyes were on me not to mention my mum was in the audience looking at me but still it was cool .

The course medal that I got looked damn great man , at least pattern & design wise , it looked stunning even though I got a shock when the staff said that it's actually a dummy medal that I got on stage -.- but after that I got that switched with the real McCoy.

I didn't realised that the course medal's kinda limited in that in each course in ITE , only 3 were given each . I sorta represented BIT eariler as I was the only 1 who went on stage to collect it . The other 2 I don't know man & also I don't know them personally too so...

After the whole event ended , the 3 of us went down the convention centre to have some food at the reception & my god I wouldn't called it a reception but a gastronic buffet even though techincally the caterers served the same food from almost 6-7 rows in the ground floor !

Yeah ITE Simei's damn great & fanastic , made my former school at Clementi looked really inferior if you asked me . Was the 1st time I went there , too bad didn't really explored the place that much . Would love to but can't cos of time constraints.

& I initally thought that they had a canteen but noooo instead they had a food court aka foodhaven . Wah lau eh & they say that size doesn't matter . In this case it does.

There's nothing more terrible & crap when you call a woman who's already fat FAT ! it's like you're waiting for a date with the hangman when the jail 'sidekick' dude besides you keep on rubbing it in your face that you're gonna die sooner or later . & yeah trust me it really really suck & can demoralise you & shatter your self esteem like fragments of broken glass from a mirror that you smashed.

That's what happened to me eariler . Cos I have to attend tomorrow's awards/graduation ceremony for the East division , I tried on a few skirts eariler & I was horrified that they were too tight when I put them on.

To add salt to injury , when I went to have dinner with my folks & sisters before this happened , my mum commented that I put on more weight again & I swear she must have said it like 10 frigging times & it suck when yours truly's already overweight & fat like a miserable piece of lard .

I make no secret , I'm a comfort eater & I eat whenever my mood's , whether am I happy/sad & recently lots of shitty things have been happening which's why my eating habits are becoming from bad to worst. But after these incident that sorta broke the camel's back & jotted me back from reality , I'm seriously & gonna do something about it.

Trust me , there's nothing nice being fat & when you talked about a mountain worth of insults coming from people who likes to make fun & tease overweight people , it really takes a toll on your self-esteem & I have been overweight since young so please spare a thought for me.

I just hate people who rub it in my face saying that oh you put on weight & all . It's fucking idiotic. I even hate those people who're skinny & thin like a paper clip & still said that they're fat . Excuse me much ? Unless you want to be like flat chested & bony like poor kids living in developing countries then be my guest.

Maybe tomorrow onwards I should stop eating & just embark on what Beyonce had to undergo when she had to shed 9kg for her role in Dreamgirls in 14 days : Maple Syrup Detox .

& also I should probably stop talking about Electrico or whoever to my mum & sisters who are obviously not interested whenever I talked about them in their face or simply just shut up & don't talk about them ever then in person if that's the case whether it's to people who likes or don't like them.

Or just blog about it in here from now onwards, which's so much simpler & fuss free . At least whatever I wrote , it doesn't bite me back in the flash & saves me from talking & my saliva too .Fine , then I'm not going to talk about Electrico ever to people right now since I myself couldn't be bothered as well . I'm sick of talking to people when I myself am talking to the wall . Fuck.

At the end of the day , I'm still human you know , I have feelings & I'm real . I know I shouldn't say all these insulting stuff back to my mum but still that really grates the hell outta me .
So much for a joyous occasion to attend for tomorrow after school , what an irony.

Serene set up a forum specially for Electrico fans eariler & she did a great job even though I must admit it takes a lot outta you to set up & maintain forums . I know cos I been on ggates for the past 3 years & although I didn't set it up but only joined it , it's hard work & sheer determination I tell you.

So for you lovelies out there , check it out at Electrico Forums & yes it's red & white but without the blue haha !

She doesn't want it to become a ghost-town or something so PLEASE do her & Electrico a favour & join & spread the love/music/word of the band.

& I don't know , after I have been attending a whole string of gigs , it made me appericate them even more , as individuals & also on their music . It sounds corny yes I know but it's the fact what .

Besides , I would not morph back into the whole 'I support/love so & so forever' as back then I paid a hefty price for it so I will not let history repeat itself again so you can more or less say that I'm in a sane mood & that I'm grounded.

I suppose 'Karen ' is kinda like my alter ego . Just like Beyonce & her alter ego Sasha . When Beyonce performed , Sasha's in place where a strong confident sexy person takes over Beyonce & when she leaves the stage , it's just Beyonce whom's apparently very quiet & quite shy in person & she will leave Sasha behind.

I guess when I'm around the guys & a girl , my alter ego comes into place in that I become sociable & like hanging out with them & after that , I will leave that behind & morph back into my ol' normal shy yet anti social self cos I can definitely tell you , both Karen & Hui Min are 2 totally different personalities of me .

Also it might be weird if they start to call me by my real name cos they already know me by my english name for so long & it will sound really strange if you ask me . & nope my english name's not in my birth cert . It's a name that I chose myself & to think initally I complained to my parents why they didn't gave me any english name ha!

So should you meet me in person , I will let you guess whether am I in my normal or alter ego mood heh

Gosh I don't know what to say for today's experience but it's nothing but brillant to the max even though initally the experience was really ugly !

For starters I thought the Waterfest will be held at Kallang Riverside Park but it's NOT , apparently it's held at Kallang Basin ! So you can imagine the mayhem man . I was walking like an idiot from Lavender MRT all the way to Kallang Riverside Park . The gig supposedly start at 5.30pm or so I thought later on.

So around 5.25pm or something , I hailed a cab after being so fed up . After I hailed 1 , the poor cab driver also had a rather tough time finding the actual venue to the Waterfest . Eventually I landed up Kallang Basin with the driver's great intution so many thanks to him.

I reached Kallang Basin at around 5.50pm or so , assuming that Electrico already finished their gig but thank goodness NO ! I spotted Leonard & Elsa while I was walking towards the venue .

I asked Leonard whether have they played or not but thank god they haven't cos of some problems I think . Ronin was scheduled to perform 1st before Electrico took the stage.Around this time , I heaved a HUGE sigh of relief.

Ronin came on stage around 6.10pm++ , they did 4 songs & I must admit was the 1st time I sorta saw them performed even though there was techincally no crowd to speak of as people were concentrating more on the bicycle stunts performance going at the back of me.

Ronin performed as usual & honestly they were not bad even though I can't really remember the titles of the songs they did -.- . I only can remember Generation but still good job.

Was hoping that Serene would joined me but alas she didn't tagged along as she was meeting her friends in Orchard :(

After Ronin's set was done , Electrico came on stage , prepared & tune their instruments etc . They started to perform at 6.30pm++ & mind you initally I thought they were supposed to perform at 5.30pm but delayed til so late but ah well doesn't matter , what matters was that I was there to watch them performed haha as techincally this's the 'last' gig that I'm attending before putting everything on hold to focus on my studies & exams.

So anyway like I was saying , they came on stage & kicked start with Walk which was excellent . Followed by Electricorp. & Only Where I'm Going.

I took a pool table chair & just sat at 1 corner beside a row of tents & just watched them performed & sturt their stuff & 1 of the most embarassing incidents happened to me.

While they were performing Electricorp. , in the middle of the song where they were performing the 2nd verse , the part where Dave was going 'you got sunshine in your shoes..' , I was looking at Daniel on stage when he was playing his lead guitar besides Dave & then suddenly he looked at me straight in the face for a few mins!

What happened was that he was SMILING & STARING at me for a while & I think he was calling my name on stage ! He caught me red handed sorta but yet I smiled back at him HAHAHA . My expression was so funny when I did that but still I was downright embarassed & I wanted the ground to swallow me when that happened & when that happened , Dan hasn't jumped around on stage just as yet.

But still , on hold I thought that incident was cute . Heh at least he knows that I'm around watching them even though by right I was late !

So now I guess whenever I listen to Electricorp. , I will never forget this incident then ahahaha

& oh I didn't mentioned this during the past gig reviews I did up but I loved the part where they did the guitar/keyboards solo in the middle of the song .

Especially when it's done live , Dan will be doing some weird actions & expressions while playing his lead guitar & I don't know , it just looks really sexy to me . Er.. I mean the music not him haha & the last part of Electricorp. when it's done live , it's freakin awesome . Dave changed the lyrics & just go nuts in a good way !

After they did Only Where I'm Going , around this time , 1 of the strings of Dave's guitar broke & here's the really lame part . Dave asked Des to tell a joke or 2 to buy some time for Dave as he went to change to another guitar . Des was telling the 'crowd' that the band was glad that people came & that the venue's very outta the way -.-

Also something about after the gig finish , they're gonna catch a movie & stuff -.- . I was er...... & -.- big time but still good try Des haha even though that kinda fell flat.

After Dave changed his guitar , they did Love In New Wave followed by Teenage Queen . I was like wheeeeeeeee when they did that cos I L.O.V.E the song to the max ! & around this time , cos the bicycle stunt competition just ended , people were walking towards the place where they were performing.

Some chose to stay but most of them left . Ah well... & around this time Dave was saying on stage that it's his birthday today ! Awww happy birthday to DJ Hook !

They closed their set with Studman & yeah the gig's short , it's only about 1/2 hour but still good show they did , the sound quality's great .

In general there was no 'crowd' to speak of so in a way I can say that they were playing a show just for me hee hee or so I think lah.

So after their set finished around 7pm++ , before I went up to them , I bought a bottle of mineral water at the tent kiosks beside me . Cost me 2 bucks for a bottle.

Amanda came 1st & I said hi to her , she looked lovely as usual even though she was dressed really casually. I talked to her a while before she went back on stage to collect her keyboards & packed them up.

Dan came on later to talk to me , saying that it was so nice to see me again & that he was glad that I came for it despite the fact that I was 'late' & that the 'crowd' wasn't happening.He left a while to bring back the equipment into the van that they rented.

Dave came to the direction where I was & I said happy birthday to him as today's his birthday ! I gave him a hug as his birthday pressie haha even though I wanted to buy a cream pie & throw it in his face hahaha . Nah just joking I wouldn't do that , honest !

& then Dave was carrying a pair of flip flops on his right hand even though he was wearing shoes . I was asking him why cos yesterday for his early birthday celebrations , he drank waaay too much & had a really really bad nasty hangover today ouch so that's the purpose of him bringing the flip flops.

But still I don't see the logic to this leh . Maybe it's just me but oh well...

Around this time , was asking the guys to help in somemore favours & even though the papers that I brought was smudged by water on the tables , at least the final products it turned out great . Many thanks to them !

After Dave left to talk to some magazine writers at the side of the tent , I went to talk to Des & he was glad that I came for it too . I asked him how was yesterday's gigs & all & was wondering did they started late also for yesterday's Waterfest & he said yes so phew thankfully.

DIdn't really talked to Will that much but then around this time , Dan came back & we talked somemore . He was ordering more cups of beer from the seller & my eyes were like O.O when I saw how many cups he ordered & was drinking haha . He was going on that he drunk like 4-5 cups today -.- . God he really can drink !

Dave was asking me where Hui Li was & stuff cos last time I told him about her but I promised him that the next gig I go , I will drag her along as obviously Dave wanted to see how she looks like so yup a promise's a promise !

I was pointing to Dave on a cup of beer on the table in which the cleaner was about to throw it away . He took it & was asking me whether I want to drink it . I said noooo as I can't drink . Dave & Dan started to laugh at me -.- but that's ok , who says that you can't have fun , good clean fun that's.

Was talking to Dan about stuff in general like what's going on in my Uni life & that I absolutely hate English at the moment as it's so difficult & that eariler told the rest that today's gig's unofficially the last gig I'm going for . I told them my reasons that I stated above & they were really understanding but of course wouldn't be the last time I'm seeing them !

Dan said that the more I hate a subject , the more likely I would fail for it . He was telling me something interesting when he was in Uni . He hated a particular module so much so that during the 2 years he did that module , he got D's for it so I guess from what he said , he just told me to find some ways or another to try to like the subject that I hate or else I will fail big time & that not to follow in his footsteps as hate's a vicious cycle which's true.

I appericate all the advice & great tips he gave me all this time & yeah I will definitely take that advice from him even though honestly sometimes I don't listen to him haha but nah I'm just joking , I looked up to him as an older brother really.Cos he has been done there & done that so he understands what I'm going though now awww

Was telling him also that my parents are not around & that they wouldn't be back til tomorrow & that cos of the fact that they're not here , that I can go for the gig mwahaha so whether I went for it or not , my mum can't stop me from going ehehe

Then was also quizzing on him something else that happened to him in Uni which was really funny . Something really unfortunate but yet lame that took place during his Uni holidays ..

We were also going on something about Bon Jovi which was pretty funny & he started to sing Keane's Somwhere Only We Know which was playing at the speakers at the back & er...sorry dude it sounded awful ahaha . Eariler both of us were singing Bon Jovi's Always & I'll Be There For You haha . It was so funny , should go for karaoke sessions with him sometime ehehe

I was asking him about yesterday's gigs especially the Home Team Academy in which they only did 2 songs . They did Love In New Wave & I Want You & the sound was quite bad but oh well take $ & run again situation.

& yup he's going for reservist soon ahahaha , was mocking at him in that he has to cut his hair tomorrow before he's going to be tortured . I was saying that he should shave his head but nope he will just cut & was going on in that he should cut the triangle style he had way back in 2004 in the LIME photo spread hahaha

Was wondering whether can he bring his handphone in or not cos today in the papers there was an article about phones being brought into the army for reverist & phones with camera , video recording functions are not allowed.

So he bought a really ayam brand 2nd hand phone with no camera , video functions yesterday cos the phone which he has currently has camera & all , suck big time . Dude you should change your phone lah ! Or else be like Dave , just smashed the floor on the ground haha

But yeah he's gonna bring that 2nd hand phone in the army & was going on that he escaped the whole going to reservist thing for quite a few years before he was 'caught' in 2003 . Poor thing ,suddenly the army remembered him or something but yeah he went on & said that reservist suck & a big waste of his time haha.

Glad that he's gonna bring a phone & smuggled it in as I need to keep him updated on something while he's being suffered in reverist for nothing in the weeks to come heh heh

Before that , he was asking me whether would they like to send me off to the nearest MRT station as I don't have any transport back cos I came by cab so I was like cool & accepted the offer as it's not often that I travelled with everyone in Electrico which was great.

& while I was talking to him even though he did an individual interview with some magazine writers eariler . He told me that they were from hot magazine . Not very sure if it's hot or H.O.T as the former's celeb mag while H.O.T's a car racer magazine but I think it should be hot . I bought the mag & it's really good . Cost S$3.50 for 2 weeks but chock full of the latest celeb gossips !

The rest of them were interviewed separately . Will wasn't cos I think he disappeared or something -.- so the writers had to probably email them the questions they wanted to ask Will.

We talked somemore nonsense as well & also I was asking him about whether got any upcoming gigs or not . He said yes & it's always nice to have 1st hand info on stuff ahaha but nope not going to say the who's & the what's cos people will eventually know about it in due time.

So after all this , everyone left . Everyone except Dave , Dan & me went to the car park already where the van they rented was being parked there , with all their equipment & instruments on tow .

Was walking with Dan to the car park as I was asking him somemore stuff on what happened eariler during the interview . Pretty interesting things he said .

When we reached the van , Dave sat in the front while me & Dan had to sit at the back . He was so nice , let me sit the seat while he sat on the floor while being squashed with Des & Amanda at the back haha & mind you he was holding a cup of beer still at this time -.- .

They wanted to fetch me to City Hall MRT station 1st so off we go . Dave was fiddling with a microphone in front of the van , the type that tour guides use in tour buses . & everyone at the back around this time started to joke & talk nonsense.

& the funny part happened . Dave was putting a tour guide accent & was going on 1stly who hasn't been to S'pore yet & everyone started to rise their hands & mayhem was happening hahaha & when the van reached the highway , Dave was going on something that the highway collapsed 3 years ago & stuff -.-

Dan was asking Dave where the name of the highway came from & everyone started to laugh big time.Cos everyone wanted to go to different places so around this time Will started to suggest why not head back to Snakeweed studios 1st to put all the equipment down.

& then suddenly the microphone that Dave was holding , started to sound weird in that it echos when he talked into it hahaha . Dan made a joke in that it's Astreal coming outta the microphone lmao.

After Will suggested , I said I wanted to follow the guys back to Snakeweed but they were like nooo cos around this time the van reached my destination but ah well that's ok . & before I got out of the party , everyone said their goodbyes' to me which was really sweet aww I felt so loved suddenly haha

& then Dave was so terrible , the place where I was alighted , was full of people walking outta the MRT station , he was using the tour guide microphone & shouting what's up people . Hilarious man haha & everyone was giving that face kinda expression.

& when I boarded the MRT , I SMS'd everyone thanking them & that I will see everyone soon til my exams & tests & 1st semester's over in late Oct . Seriously they're very down to earth & friendly & lovely down to the very last min.

Overall , what a great & wonderful time I had even though I wouldn't be attending any of their gigs at any moment but still , a priceless experience that I had today even though initally it sucked but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise & it was definitely nice of them to made my experience & 'misadventure' turned out to be so nice & rewarding & to think initally I didn't want to go for the gig !

& yes the next gig that I will be going for , I will drag Hui Li along with me cos I already promised Dave & yup a promise's a promise .

& I thought I had a great time at the ndp eve countdown gig . This's 1 notch higher & better , for sure.
