Ugh efforts to try to convince my Econs lecturer in hope to cancel this Thurs's test & to push back to a later date was a failure . Even though he did sorta hinted what topics might be coming out , it still doesn't really solve the problem . So what does this means ? I have to cram almost 9 topics for tonight , tomorrow & early Thurs morning which aka means I can't talk to Dan on MSN in the morning :( .But at least I will be seeing him on stage this Friday night heh heh so it's alright . Besides he understands my plight which's ok.It doesn't help matters that I have a sibei long overdue Maths test tomorrow in which yes I haven't done any preparation for it . D'oh ! But that's me , always leaving things to be done at the last min ALL THE TIME so I have to pay the price !I have to admit , school's definitely going to be more hectic for me for the whole of March & April . I hope I wouldn't lose my sanity & try to be sane . If not , I just blast music & turn the volume up in my room then to destress.Muse's Stockholm Syndrome , Assassin , Time Is Running Out anyone?Listened to a band that Dan recommended me which's Mute Math & eariler when I heard their whole album on the way to school . Verdict? it's awesome ! They sound a bit like The Observatory with them using samples for their tunes & all but at least I can hear the lyrics much clearer but it's the kinda stuff that I would play it over & over again .It's indie rock music at the end of the day but still it's GOOD stuff ! He also asked me to check out another good band too which's Plus/Minus. Heard some of their songs on MySpace & real impressed on what I heard over there.Nice one & if you ask me , radio should definitely pick up their stuff & play them for listeners to well hear what they have up their sleeves.

Ooh lala , Su-H emailed me to say that she received the ticket from me yesterday . That's really fast ! I would have thought that she will received it tomorrow or probably Tue but ah good to know that she got it . So this means that I will be going to Live In New Wave with her , Dila & Jiha & not forgetting Hui Li . In fact that's like practically the 1 & only thing I'm looking forward to next week . You don't expect me to look forward to 3 tests isn't it ? That would be so lame unless I'm a bookworm . I actually already picked an outfit to wear for Live a really long time ago but now I realised I might not wear the outfit that I originally picked so I probably will wear 1 of the 3 shirts that Ah Yee bought for me at Suntec's IP Zone if that's the case . I already wore 2 of them to school so why not save the last one for the best ? But then again I'm still at the midst of deciding so we'll see.Have been walking up surprisely 'early' during the weekend , including today . Why ? Just because of Martin Mystery that's why ! I realised that I haven't been seeing him on TV for AGES & in a way I was happy to see 2 more new episodes of Season 3's MM since Disney Channel only aired it on weekends now at 10.30pm but at least now I have a valid reason to get up early then.Yesterday's episode was about a Warlock which's sorta like a powerful wizard , well an evil one to be exact while today's a bit comical . Which idiot would feed his pet venus flytrap super protein power ? the kind that bodybuilders use to be exact ! that's crazy & what happened ? the venus flytrap became so huge & big , he or I mean it started to eat people to get rid of the competition which in this case , participants of a science fair project .& the part where Java became vegetarian , hilarious . Who would thought a caveman who all this while been eating meat , go all veggies & fruits loco ? Somehow I just don't see it .

It wouldn't be long before Live In New Wave kicks in next Fri . In fact that's like the only thing that I'm looking forward to for next week . I mean , come on who would look forward to 3 tests (including a sibei long overdue 1 Maths test ) instead of a concert ? that will be crazy if you ask me !I found out somemore details about Live in the latest issue of LIME . Whee , aside from Electrico doing songs from So Much More Inside & Hip City , they also will be doing covers in that they will be paying tribute to 80s music , hence new Wave covers . + each of the guys & girl will be doing a solo segment ! SWEET ! & yes I'm looking forward to see Dan do his guitar solo on stage yahoo & of course the rest of the guys & girl lah , especially Amanda with her funky keyboards solo . I could definitely ask Dan the songlist that's for sure but NAH I wouldn't even though I already know a couple of songs they will be doing so I don't want any spoilers lah & yesterday while talking to him on MSN before I left for school , he said that he cut his hair yay but from the pics that he sent me yesterday that were taken during Good Viberations , I wasn't convinced leh . He only said that he cut a little bit . Err... ok but I will find out for myself next Fri then & ooh I'm also looking forward to the post gig 'party' as well which I did asked him about too which I'm gonna hang out with him during when it's taking place & after that YAYI actually wanted to meet up with him this week but cos of the fact that both our schedules are so crazy , I told him it's better if I see him next week together with the rest that's . Besides I don't think it's fair should I meet him this week but with me being in a really really foul mood & that I would take it all on him , be it snapping/whining/bitching to me about my Uni work so yeah & I told him it's alright . At most next Fri after the concert , he has to send me & Hui Li back home lah hahaWell at least the weekend's around the corner , might probably use the time to do my work , research report , prepare for next week & the following week's sheer torture of tests & the works so I really really really HOPE that it wouldn't be another case of No Action Talk Only .HOPE or PAIN (fab song by Ayumi Hamasaki in her My Story CD) , which one would you choose at the end of the day ? & oh wow Rivermaya are coming back to S'pore for a performance ole ! on 8th April , Sun , 3pm at Downdown East . Still considering whether I wanna go for it cos tickets are reasonable at S$28 a piece so I'll see about that lah . & yes I know , quite a lot of girls like frontman Rico me included hee but I like the bassist as well whose name's Japs . I think he's cute ever since I saw their music video to their song Bali Song & I was real smitten with him after that heh hehI know usually for girls , they're usually into guitarists , drummers & all but for me it's a bit different . I seem to have a liking for guys who play the bass & funny thing's that those guys that I like who're bassists are cute hahaLet me cite some cute bassist guys .... All American Rejects frontman Tyson , The Click Five's Ethan , Fall Out Boy's Pete & just now like what I said , Rivermaya's Japs .Still at the midst of considering to go see Rivermaya perform once again . I caught their performance with Electrico 2 years back at Bar None , was an awesome brillant showcase of both bands & Rivermaya really do know how to rock the house down ! & er back then , I only know them for 1 song which was You'll Be Safe Here *sheepishly* .But at least now it's not so bad lah , I know somemore good songs from them such as 214 , 241 , Bali Song . Might consider to pick up their You'll Be Safe Here CD too if I can get an advance of my allowance from my mum then !

Today , exactly a year ago , my good friend from UK Tracie passed away . Even up to now , I myself still can't believe that she's gone even though a year has passed by so fast just like that . I sent her mum Anita a card last week , hopefully she managed to receive it . Although Tracie's passing was so sudden , at least she wouldn't be suffering anymore & she's in heaven with her late best friend so Tracie , I will always remember you dear friend.

OK , enough of the sad emo drama stuff for now . I just checked my timetable & omg , it's gonna be insane for the whole month of March & April . For the next coming 2 weeks , I will be having 3 tests a week ! SOB .
Let me see , next week's lineup of tests... oh man , Eng on Mon , my LONG overdue Maths test on Wed , 2nd Econs test on Thurs . boohoohoo ! Outta the 3 of them , I'm worried sick for Econs . Why ? I have a whopping 10 topics to study for :( . Maths , it's still alright but er Eng ? enough said.
& then the following week , another set of Eng , Maths (2nd test bah) & my 2nd Accounts test . See this's terrible & it's a miracle that I haven't been swearing so much for the past few days verbally . Maybe because of the whole cny thing going on since cny's going on for 15 days & today's only the 5th day.
I been swearing too much in my head so that more or less offset each other aha but ugh , hate it hate it hate it but what to do ? It's part & parcel of life . At most have to juggle things like a season professional .
I hope at this rate it wouldn't lead to a major meltdown but ah at least I have something to look forward to later on tonight ie. a 30 mins special Muse Videography wheee
I missed the previous screening of it on MTV but this time I wanna watch it . At most after Eng lessons are done for today in the afternoon , I will rush back home , can't wait to see what Muse has in store up their sleeves.
-------------------+++------------------- Wheeee scored again for my Eng tests . I got back my results for both listening tests , audio & video eariler during Eng . Whew , damn stoked to say that I did well YAY .
I scored a massive 54.5/60 for the audio test while a 45/60 for video . I was very shocked & surprised especially for the video test considering the fact that it was real difficult & I had a rather hard time understanding the contents of the video while I was doing notes cos unlike the audio test where the question paper was given to me prior to the starting of the test , for the video it wasn't. I was made to watch a 30 mins video that was produced by BBC & while watching , I was supposed to take down notes or whatever that's relevant & caught my fancy . I was taking down notes like 1 kind it was crazy . So when the question paper was given out after the video ended , I was like shit the questions are so difficult so in a way was already prepared for the worst should I fail . Imagine my surprise when I got back my results eariler so I'm really stoked . For the audio test , I was equally surprised too considering that the CD my lecturer played , the sound quality of it , it wasn't so good so had to strain my ears in order to try in vain to hear better . Initally my marks for the audio test was 53.5 but due to a mistake , I was given 1 more mark haha but oh wow this's awesome , am really happy for both my test results especially for the video . Hey at least at the end of the day , it's an A grade so I can't complain so much about that !

A very happy 20th b'day to my dear 'ol friend Dila . Woo hoo about time I say that she enters the 20 year old club haha . She was still telling me that she still feels that she's 19 . Well not anymore ! Even though she said that she will be spending today & the next few days studying for her upcoming exams , but I'm sure after that , all hell will break loose & she will party & celebrate like there's no tomorrow.Even though I already mailed her way advanced b'day pressies , I told her eariler that's only part 1 & she should expect part 2 coming from me real soon in the days to come . I'm sure she will like part 2 even more or less than part 1 but we'll see !Went out with my family to Marina Square . Had a really nice Thai lunch at Lerk Thai . At least for once we had something different . If not , it will be Jack's Place AGAIN . The food that Lerk Thai served was good & the portions & prices were reasonable . The Tom Yam soup was fab & so's the sambal kangkong with belechan. I would love to go back there again for a meal in the near future.Got myself a fab new pair of Nike shoes with me using the S$100 voucher that I won from *scape so eventually my mum only had to top up the remaining balance of the amount which was S$3.95 . So if I didn't won the voucher , the shoes would set me for S$103.95 like I will pay that kinda amount for a pair of shoes.Passed by UCC hall on the way back home & my mum was asking me when Hui Li & I will be heading our way there . I said 2nd March only even though I know in real fact , I might be swinging by the place again on 8th & 25th March respectively haha.& looks like I wouldn't need to take a cab after all ! Checked the SBS website eariler & they only have 1 bus (ie. 96) that stops at NUS Raffles Hall but I think I have to walk a fair distance to UCC hall but it's ok . If I don't know , I can always ask the bus driver.

So today's the 2nd day of chinese new year . Yesterday I visited my paternal relatives while today's it's the maternal side.Honestly I always have more fun visiting houses on the 2nd day all the time . I just don't know why . It has always been like that since young so yeah.I don't know if it's just me but this's the 2nd time that I'm down with the flu for today . Not that it's weird but the last time I was down with the flu , it was during Eng & the freaky thing was that I was wearing the Tommy Hilfiger True Star Perfume & so was today :SI'm not sure if I'm allergic to it . If it's , then it's damn wasted cos I really love the scent of it . The strange thing's that here & there , I do wear the scent but I didn't had problems with it . My mum said that it's probably because I didn't sleep enough which' why I'm down with flu for today but we'll see.Maybe I should turn in early for tonight.Also the weather was doing my head in ! hot cold , cold & hot all over the place . Miracle that I haven't swear like a sailor for the past 2 days . Amazing.Read in today's The New Paper that the organisers of Good Viberations decided to remove the age limit of 18 & above after some parents emailed them asking whether that can be done cos they want to bring their kids along to see the one & only Beastie Boys (their only show in Asia) , Jurassic 5 & many other acts & nah I didn't went for it cos I didn't win any tickets from mtv , somemore I'm sick & went for house visiting just now so NAH.& before I forget , a very happy birthday to Dila who will turn 20 tomorrow =) & I also wanna award a huge thumbs up to Tung Lok for their fanastic almond cookies . Awesome today's the 1st day of cny aka usher in the brand new year of the pig . Wished my folks a very happy new year this morning before we made our way to my paternal parents's house .Every cny especially on the 1st day , it's a daily ritual for everyone at my paternal side to head to the temple to pray . We always go to the one at Sin Ming Avenue & I myself can't believe that I have been going to the temple every year for 20 years already . Wow that's something.& usually for the 1st day , I have to go vegetarian for 1/2 a day . That's after I come back from the temple where I can morph back into a carnivore . You imagine , I already have trouble going vegetarian for 1 day , I can't even go for 1/2 a day which I FAILED badly but I managed to stuck it out.Eariler when I went to the temple , woah it was so big , even bigger than last time . Went to different parts of the venue to pray for a lot of things . I hope this year will be even or just as good as last year.Ang Pow $ wise , I haven't really count how much I collected so far . It seems to me that each year , the amount's getting lesser & lesser man but it doesn't matter to me that much . At least it's better than not getting any amount I say.

A breaking piece of news was announced this morning during 987's Muttons In The Morning & with thanks to Dan for SMS'ing & alerting me in the wee hours of the morning before I was about to have Accounts & while I was at the midst of listening to Muse's 2nd album Origin Of Symmetry & playing games on my handphone. I listened to it & got the interview recorded down in my mp3 while I was trying in vain to concentrate during Accounts . Hey at least my lecturer was understanding !Before Electrico went on air , I was asking Dan whether would he like me to record it down on my mp3 in which he said go ahead & I joked that he better mention my name when he's on air later on haha . He didn't do that but nah I was just playing.Electrico were on Muttons In The Morning in which Justin Ang & Vernon A were on board . Most of the interview concentrates on the final 2 gigs (which're Good Viberations Festival for next Mon & their concert Live In New Wave 2 Fri's later) that they will be performing at before they head off to Austin , Texas for the SXSW festival & that when they return back to S'pore , they will be embarking on an indefinite hiatus.Yup you got that right , Electrico will be taking an indefinite break ! Dave mentioned that he wants to start writing new material for the 3rd album & just chill but something in me knows that it's more than to meet the eye.Dan was on air & it was a bit weird hearing him talking on radio & he was saying some of the reasons as to why they need this break badly which I know why . I would love to say why but I can't so let's just put it this way , they will be taking a break in concentrating to write & record new material for a 3rd album . They were shamelessly plugging about Live In New Wave that's for sure but after they state that Live will be their final gig that they will be doing in S'pore (well for now that's) , probably sales tickets might rise ? Also with a 20% discount attached if you book your tickets at SISTIC when you say a password , it might seem so ! I know that they really want to sell out all the 1,200 seats in UCC Hall so I hope that will become a reality & the funny thing's that I already can sense that they were going to announce that they're going on indefinite hiatus once they get back from US.It's strange I know but what was my reaction ? nothing much really cos in a way , I know the break they're talking about , they need it & it will either make or break the band . Cos after all the things that Dan told me when they were recording Hip City , pre & post details of it , I hope they can get things sorted out . Fingers crossed on that !Aside from the rather depressing stuff , they performed acoustic live . Dan & Dave were on guitars while Will was on backing vocals . They did a very old song that I never heard before & Dave was saying that this song was written around the same time as he wrote for Runaway . The title of the track they did acoustic live ? it's called I Am Free & it sounds pretty cool & it's NICE that they performed & did this acoustic so yup . At least all 5 of them can joke on what they plan to do during when they're on hiatus.In a way I'm glad that they're planning to go on an indefinite break simply because I know after Live In New Wave , all of my tests & exams will be coming right in my face so the timing is perfect in ways or another so PLEASE if you haven't seen Electrico live in action yet , this might be your last chance seeing that even I myself have no idea when's the next time they will be performing so go for Live In New Wave which's taking place on 2nd March !& oh oh before I forget , a repackaged version of Hip City is available in stores now containing 2 bonus remixes of Love In New Wave which're the Aldrin & Akien and Tim Hudson remixes.I heard the Aldrin & Akien remix before as Amanda was so kind to send it to me that time , it sounds great . Oh my god what a way to kick start my Thurs than to have someone died in front of my house ! & no I'm not joking.I was watching MTV eariler when my dad came back home telling me someone just died right in front of my house . Initally I thought he was kidding cos I didn't hear any loud sound in the form of a thud/bang . It was only til I went to his room & saw everything . At the beginning I thought it's a girl who died but when my dad went on downstairs to check things out him being a kaypo & all , it was an old man & as of now , the corpse's still at the roadside , with ambulance , police & the works.Oh man , I always thought that you only see such incidents in reel life & not real life . I didn't expect this at all . Cos usually to cross the road to get to where my house's , the traffic at both roads are very unstable & uncertain so you can't predict the flow of traffic.A few people I seen crossing the road to get to where my house's , got hit & injuried but this's the 1st time someone actually crossed the road & DIED right in front of my house . That's why my mum always tell me to alight 1 bus stop early & then walk the overhead bridge .I don't want to end up like that poor old man who died so all the more I should head her advice .I hope tonight I can sleep in peace man.

So today's none other than Valentine's Day . I did nothing really special to 'celebrate' it if you consider going to the library once again to do research for my research report & then later on eating lots of Beard Papa sweet treats desserts then probably yes haha& honestly I don't see the need to celebrate V Day . It's so over rated & why would you wanna specially pick 14th Feb just to say I Love You to your partner , buy him/her expensive gifts & go all the trouble to blow up your 1 month's worth of salary on a meal at a posh restaurant ? I rather everyday be V Day instead of just today but I don't know , whatever floats your boat I suppose & eariler when I was at the library , I was browsing though some old issues of DARE magazine & something caught my eye in that this lady was saying that singletons should not be afraid & embarassed to say that they're singles which I think it's true.That's something worthwhile to think about isn't it & what better way to celebrate V Day than to win something AGAIN . Yup you got that right . ITE sent me a letter saying that cos of the fact that I took part in some survey thingy , they enclosed a complementary Golden Village for me hehThat's cool & I take it !

Had a good early reunion dinner yesterday at Tung Lok . Surprisely the shark's fins soup was fanastic & 1 of the better ones that I tried . All of my maternal relatives came which was good . What matters more was the company , not necessary the food that was being served & for once I ate quite an amount of yu sheng . I usually don't like eating it during cny reunion dinners but yesterday was an exception.Tung Lok gave a complementary jar of almond cookies . Oh god they were awesome . I didn't even know they were almond cookies til I read the bottom of the jar oops but they were so good I couldn't stop having them . So much so that my mum had to resist me from finishing the whole jar.Went to National Library after school in vain to try to do research for my research report . Cos of the fact that the topic I chose & came up with , is quite broad so I had no choice but to re-phrase my topic cos I don't know in what aspect I want to approach my topic so it was kinda a letdown but luckily the staff were kind enough in trying to help me but I see what I can do about it . I definitely would love to start doing something about my research report cos I have to submit it by mid of next month & I have a terrible habit of proscinating so the sooner I start , the faster I can finish & do things prim & proper.& just checked the 987FM official website . They stated that Electrico's 3rd & latest new single has been released this week . The song ? We're Not Made In The USA. Yup , you got that right . The Anthem has been released officially on radio after Love In New Wave & the current single that might be sneaking into the official top20 chart this coming week which's Hello.Honestly , I was very surprised when I found that out not too long ago . Not that I think the track's bad but I have a nagging feeling that it might not do well . Rather , I feel the live version of USA sounds a hell lot more better than the album version but I don't know , I'm just crossing fingers big time it might do alright/ok with listeners.Was a bit bummed that 987FM didn't chose Teenage Queen leh.

What a day , Yee Ma came back from Korea today . Me & Hui Li went to the airport together with Ah Yee & Auntie Juat Ngoh to fetch her but before that , the 4 of us went shopping at Suntec .& the strange thing was that when I went to Suntec eariler , it was a ghost town . Probably I went there quite early which explains the situation . Had lunch at Imperial Treasure . Was the 1st time that I stepped into there to have a meal & honestly , I wasn't really impressed with the menu & selection that they had to offer . Was a bit shocked that they don't have har gao , siew mai , char siew bao on their dim sum menu . Maybe cos they offer cuisine from Shanghai that's why but I don't know . At least the xiaolongbao was great but the rest of the dishes that the 4 of us ordered didn't really made an impact on me.& I had Yami Yoghurt after that :) . I always had fond memories whenever I eat Yami Yoghurt cos when I was young , I attended piano lessons at the old Plaza Singapura & whenever lessons ended , I always head down to the old Yaohan Supermarket & ordered a large cup of yoghurt so it brings back good memories for me.So here & there whenever I head to Suntec , I always make a beeline to the Yami Yoghurt store.Ah Yee bought 3 shirts for me from IP Zone while she paid for a halter top & jacket combo for Hui Li . I like 1 of the shirts that she bought for me , I think it looked fab on me . I bought myself a bottle of Rougeberry perfume from The Body Shop . Cost me S$9.90 instead of S$19.90 but all the proceeds from the perfume that I buy from The Body Shop , it will go to the Staying Alive foundation & it's a collaboration between MTV & The Body Shop in this project so in a way I'm doing something good I suppose & the Rougeberry smells lovely !Was so nice to see Yee Ma once again when we went to the airport to fetch her . She will only be in S'pore for 2 weeks before she head back to Korea but she hasn't changed any bit since I last saw her last year . It could be me lah but I don't know.Tomorrow , early reunion dinner with the maternal relatives at Liang Court . Tung Lok to be precised ! Woah not a cheap place to have a meal there but now & there , it's good to spluge on things such as good food !

Happy's the word to describe today's chain of events . 1stly , Hui Li got her O levels results today scoring a whopping 16 points for her L1R5 ! Congrats & at least she did way better than me that's for sure . I can't believe that I scored a terrible 39 points for my L1R5 *sheepishly* (with me failing my Eng at D7) but that's all in the past . Now Hui Li will have about 6 days to decide whether to remain in JC or not.& also I got back the results for my Accounts & yay , scored another A in the form of 81/100 :) :) :) . Of course there're others in class who got higher marks than me , there was 1 who scored 99/100 but you know what ? at the end of the day , I'm just concerned with my marks , I couldn't be bothered as to what people get . & besides I should look at it this way : it's an A grade that I snagged ! Who cares about the rest & you bet that I'm happy with this !Had been busy eariler updating the Electrico's forums , the other music blog of mine & the works as they're featured in today's The New Paper & hurrah , they're anti Valentine's Day too just like me hee. They mentioned that they will be spending next Wed's V Day working & preparing hard for Live In New Wave . For me , I will spend that day studying haha . I know it's so lame on my part. Had my listening test this afternoon for Eng . You would have thought that it's easy but in truth it's NOT . The sound system of the CD that my lecturer played from her labtop was bad cos they transfer the data from a cassette tape which the sound system itself from there was bad already so here & there , I had a hard time listening while I was doing the paper.I didn't realised that a listening test would be hard & I thought it would be easy . Guess not . I probably will start doing research for my Eng report over this coming weekend now that the topic that I chose was approved last week cos I have to submit everything in hard copy next month & do presentation somemore.I never done up a prim & proper research report before so this's gonna be a daunting task but hopefully I can get some help from people I know who're willing to help me . If not , I just pout , beg & whine my way til they got no choice but to relent eventually hahaDan sent me a link via MSN eariler in the morning before I went to school . haha it was so funny ! He sent me a youtube link of Switchfoot doing a cover of Beyonce's Crazy In Love ! I know , I was like what the .... & yup it's unbelievable . Who would have thought that a rock band would be covering an R&B song ? hilarious man & their redition's so damn different from the original .Made me laughed big time eariler when I saw it . I showed that to Hui Li as well.& 2nd time around , I submitted my song request to Dan regarding next month's Live In New Wave . Even though they already had done up the songlist for the concert , he still asked me what songs I wanted them to play . I requested for Teenage Queen while Hui Li wanted USA , Good Time & I Want You in which he said that all 4 songs are on the songlist YAYso aka Electrico will be playing their current & older material then :) & among the things that I asked him about was contact lenses & the strangest thing's that it never cross my mind as to whether I want to wear them . I asked him about it cos I know here & there , he wears them & probably in the near future , Hui Li wants to wear them too.For me , that's something that never cross my mind cos I'm perfectly fine wearing glasses & I don't see the need to wear contacts . At most those occasions when I have to take pics with people & all , to look nicer , I just take off my glasses lah . Besides , I think it's quite leceh to put contacts into my eye balls , clean them when necessary & the works & for someone whose hygenie level's at the pits , not a chance . Then again I don't know cos I never wear contacts before.Well at least for now but the thought of having something stuck inside my eyes is just eew .I already have a thing or 2 against eyelashes going inside my eyes but hey never say never . Just like last time , I said that I would never ever put on makeup but look at me now , I'm wearing it . Ha , I'm basically eating my words right outta myself.

I had the day off today seeing that Maths was cancelled & what better way than to spend whatever free time I got than to go shopping & window shopping ! & for once , I didn't went to the arcade eariler when I head to Westmall . Somehow or another , the thrill of going there fizzled out a bit . Not to mention I don't have much time on my hands these days . As much as I love to go in there & kick some butt , I can't.So I went to Popular to buy a new stack of blank CDs , a pack of correction tape . I also walked around with thought in mind to buy b'day pressies which I did bought 1 eventually . I also bought myself the last ZA 10ct eyeshadow in authem green shade which I really like ! It was the last one on the rack so I thought to myself , better get that before someone snapped that up.I like ZA's eyeshadows , they're really good & nice . I have 2 10ct eyeshadows before I bought the new one . The rest of the shades didn't catch my fancy though.Tomorrow , back to school ... in the afternoon that's ! where I have to take a listening test for Eng . I know , don't give me that look . No matter how lame it's , it's still accountable in my incourse work so I better try to nail this tomorrow afternoon .

Got back my test results for Econs today & omg , I couldn't believe my eyes when my lecturer read out my marks to everyone in class . Not just me seeing that he read out everyone's grades 1 by 1 from his labtop according to the register & what did I scored ? a whopping 17.5/20 !!I was very shocked cos I was already prepared for the worst as I really think that I didn't put in as much effort as I thought & before he was about to read out my name & marks , I was praying inside to let me pass the test . But I gotta admit it was a pleasant surprise but my test script wasn't returned back so I don't have a clue where I went wrong in the paper.I remembered last week I was just writing whatever that comes into my mind when I was doing the paper during the 1 hour . You imagine just for 1 question alone , I used up 1 whole piece of lecture paper haha but at least tonight I can sleep in peace of sorts .At least that day of me sacrificing in not going for ASEAN ROCKS 2 Sun's ago did paid off :)I still don't know my Accounts results yet . I wouldn't know about this til this Fri but I hope I can get a pass grade cos my Accounts lecturer was telling everyone that she was quite disappointed with the class & she was hoping more people would aced it . Supposed to have a Maths test tomorrow but my programme executive Kim left a note during Accounts saying that all Maths lessons for this week will be cancelled cos my lecturer's on compassionate leave .I didn't understand the term compassionate leave so being a real bimbotic idiot , I asked my Accounts lecturer what that means . She said that it means someone in the family has passed away . Oh dear that's really sad . I feel for my Maths lecturer , I hope he will be alright.I wasn't sure which member in his family passed away but I heard from my classmate it's probably his sister who passed away as she has cancer but regardless of anything , I hope my Maths lecturer will be alright . I know that feeling all too well & it blows big time.& the freaky thing was that I found out from my classmate that she stays in the same place as me ! Except she lives in at the other side of the place where I'm staying . Mine's Blk 47 while her's 45 . Damn if you ask me but it's cool . Who would have thought that I have a neighbour in my class ?

Poor me over the weekend I had sore & puffy eyes . So much so that I almost couldn't opened my eyes this morning . Had to get my dad to fetch me to the doctor before I went to school . The doctor said exactly the same thing as before in that I have some allergic reaction which caused my eyes to be in this state . The right eye's not as serious as the left eye . It's probably dirt or blame plain 'ol me for keep on rubbing my eyes non stop but I'm sure in the next few days to come , my eyes will be alright.I went to Sembawang after school & omg guess what I saw on the CD Rack ? Fall Out Boy's latest record Infinity On High . It wasn't the CD that caught my attention . What caught my attention was something written in front of their CD in that they're going to make their way to S'pore next month ! :Oomg , who would have thought that FOB will be gracing S'pore's shores next month ?! 3rd March to be exact at the Max Pavillion/S'pore Expo ! Holy cow if you ask me & it's definitely really cool . I wonder which other acts will be coming down in the months to come aside from FOB & also later on this month , Jurassic 5 , The Beastie Boys for Good Viberations Festival .ooh just checked on Sistic that tickets to FOB's Infinity On High concert will be selling for a standard ticket price of S$75 excluding S$2 sistic fee & that it's free standing & S'pore's the only Asian country that they're stopping by aside from Osaka & Tokyo but that's before they make their way down here.& before I forget , I wanna say a big happy b'day to the drummer of Electrico William whose b'day is tomorrow . Happy b'day Will !

Been busy over the weekend especially with finding & downloading tracks of Ayumi Hamasaki's previous old albums & I did it hurrah . Seeing that I wouldn't have the time to listen to all of her older material , I decided to incorporate the selected tracks that're on the tracklisting of her upcoming double A Best 2 (Black) & (White) compliations together . The exception's that of My Story (Classical) which I retain the whole album cos it's so unique & fanastic . Wow the classical version of Moments's so gorgeous , I didn't know it sounded even more great & grand than the original .
Not only that , I was also busy coming up with a rather major big task which involves the 2 bands that I have been doing PR for the longest time . It was a daunting task I gotta admit but I managed to put all the pieces together not too long ago in which I'm quite proud of that & nah it's my own initative in doing this . 3 people will benefit from me in due time.
I thought I wasn't able to accomplish it but I managed with spunk & attitute . Both bands better thank me for doing this I tell you but at the end of the day I don't expect anything in return , I just wanna help them out cos I'm just too kind haha but no seriously I enjoy doing all this work (some will say free labour) for them .
Even Su-H was telling me on MSN on Fri that I seem to enjoy doing PR for them . Yup she's right . It's very tiring sometimes but I enjoy the adrealine rush of it . Also for self satisfaction , it's definitely worth it.
& you think that only Dan , Linda , ET & the rest of the guys have a double life . I also have 1 too haha
Ooh I think I probably wear the new MAC lipgloss that Dan got for me tomorrow. It smells really lovely , can't wait to try it on . I probably switch & wear that on alternative days . Then on those days that I don't use the MAC lipgloss , I wear the Revlon lipgloss then.

Whew am I glad that this week's finally over & that the weekend's finally here hurrah . Took my 1st Accounts test in the morning . Erm... I don't know what to say but it's SO difficult & tough . I got stumped for the 1st 2 questions , I was in a state of panic when I was doing the test but on whole I'm just glad that it's over & done with . At most I will face the music in knowing the results of both Accounts & Econs next week then !Was supposed to have Accounts only but because last week Maths was cancelled , it was being brought forward to this afternoon which was quite a stinker . But at least during the time break from Accounts to Maths , I went to meet up with Dan for lunch . Initally I wanted to meet up with him after school but he told me that he had plans or 2 tonight so he suggested why not I come over to have lunch with him instead in which I thought cool !He dropped me an SMS when I was having my test , asking me what time I will be swinging by since he had to make reservations.So after I was done with Accounts , I went to Dan's workplace which's just a MRT station away from my school . It sounds near yeah but I can tell you it's NOT ! Cos after I get outta the MRT station , I had to walk quite a distance to where his workplace's . I remembered the very 1st time when I tried in vain to find where his workplace's , I had a really difficult & tough time cos I wasn't very familiar with the area that he works at .But now ha , it's 2nd nature already . Cos time wasn't on my side , I had to run like iterally to his workplace cos I only had less than a hour or so before I had to make my way back to school again . I was late as always but the moment I reached , I SMS'd Dan & he came downstairs in no time. But not before I took some postcards off the rack at the cafe besides his workplace hahaAs always it's nice to see Dan & the both of us walked a distance away from his workplace cos his car was being parked at some hotel or something cos he told me that he always park there cos it's free parking for him so why not .Dan was coughing away when I saw him eariler . Poor thing everyone seems to be falling sick these days . Even I myself told him that I was down with a nasty flu during Eng yesterday & yet still have to study for today's Accounts . He asked me how was the test & the part where I rattled on the topics being tested on , he was giving me a blank look aka he doesn't know what I'm talking about , when comes to Bank Reconcilation Statement , Sales Ledger & Purchase Control Accounts etc etc . hahaHe gave me some cards for me to download music legally from the company he's working at whee . 3 cards to be exact . I haven't decide whether to use all 3 cards or to give 1 each to Hui Li & Hui Lin to use but I'll see about that . Should have asked for more eariler but nah I didn't.Once we reached the building where his car was being parked there , I was asking him somemore further details about the next gig that Electrico will be playing at aka the Good Vibrations Festival which will be held at Fort Canning Park on 19th Feb & no I wouldn't be going for it , it's pretty pointless & also it will set me for like what tickets costing S$60+ a pop before 19th & S$80+ on the day itself . Hui Li also can't follow me even if I want to go cos it's slapped with a 18 years & above rating cos alcohol's served at the festival .
At least the age limit's logical cos it's obvious that 18 years & above is the legal age to drink in S'pore . Not like that time when me & Hui Li went to the Science Centre for the Explore S'pore gig that Electrico & Astreal performed . They put that 16 & above can enter the place cos alcohol was served that time . Like wtf man.
Electrico might probably be playing for about 30 mins or so ? Other regional , international , local acts will be gracing the event too in which among the international acts that will be coming down to S'pore for it will be The Beastie Boys ! & I heard on radio that all the early bird tickets of S$40 have been snapped up . Seems like a lot of Beastie Boys fans out there if you ask me.
& I was telling Dan that I'm not that familiar with their music sadly or not . It's damn embarassing lah on my part . Even for Jurassic 5 who's coming down as well , I heard of them before but music wise , zlich. This's terrible I should take a crash course on music at this instance.
The lift was being a pain in the ass so had no choice had to wake up the stairs . The buliding where Dan's car was being parked at , it's a really nice serene place . I didn't know such a place exist til eariler . See this's what I mean when I said that I wasn't familar with his workplace . I still am not !
We reached the car park like about time . I put my bags at the back of Dan's car & after I got that done with , I went to sit in front & Dan surprised me with a way belated b'day pressie aww :)
I really thought that he was joking about it but he wasn't but yeah I really liked it . He gave me a set of Kiehl's tolietries which's cool . He was asking me whether have I heard this brand Kiehl's before . I said no *sheepishly* & that my skincare's good 'ol Clearasil . He was saying that my face's complexion good & that Clearasil's too strong & he didn't expect that I would be using it . Well sorry bro , have to burst your bubble but I do have zits breakouts practically almost all the time . Just that I conceal them really well haha
While Dan was driving to M Hotel , I was asking him about Sun's gig at Hard Rock Cafe & whether did I really missed out on anything 'special' that happened . Not really but he was telling me all the unfortunate events that took place pre gig & it was quite bad well to him that's . & they didn't start performing til almost 9pm + !
Ooh once we reached M Hotel , I left my bags in his car . I only brought my wallet along & the place that we had lunch at , they were serving buffet & surprisely I didn't ate a lot just now cos I was worried that I might fall asleep during Maths later on but I did managed to chat with Dan on somemore things , like asking him how many hours does he spend in practising the guitar cos Hui Li was curious & so in a way I had to ask him on her behalf (that always happen practically ALL THE TIME -.- ) & that I love the new layout of their official website & also he further went onto telling me somemore things that happened post recording of Hip CIty.
Dan told me all this before but I didn't expect he would tell me even more & nah it doesn't hurt lah haha . It's sometimes good to know things that other people don't know heh heh provided that I'm not a big mouth & just shoot all of whatever he told me just like that . No , I'm not that kinda person & just grateful that he bothers in telling me all these things going on which's great.
I'm so looking forward to Live In New Wave which's taking place in exactly 1 month's time ! I'm definitely psyched up for it & ooh looks like Electrico might be taking some time in probably writing some new material for their 3rd album & yup I so agree as to what Dan said in that I hope he will put his foot down firmly on whatever things that happened during the recording , pre & post of Hip City & that history wouldn't repeat itself this time round . Well hopefully . I'm crossing my fingers on that for sure.
By the time we left M Hotel , it was already 1.15pm . Oops aka 15 mins prior to having Maths & Dan was kind enough to send me to school :) . I was telling Dan that he better take the rest of the day off from work cos he was feeling quite sick & he should go & see a doctor after he sent me to school .
My school's quite nearby & he didn't had any problems in finding where it's located at & I almost forgot in asking him whether has he moved to his new house & he has already woo so aka a future housewelcoming party for me to go & gate crash haha but yeah he SMS'd me his new address soon after . Wah I like his new address , sounds very grand & somewhat intimidating.
No doubt eariler was really fun , I do hope that Dan will use the weekend to recover & if you ask me , it will be nice to do this more often :) & once again , thanks for the pressie & that lovely little note inside the box dude !

It's any wonder how being lazy can led to fall sick like iterally . That's what happened just now during Eng . Cos of the fact that I was so lazy in that I can't be damned to bring a sweater/jacket , I started to feel sick just now . I couldn't stop sneezing like crazy which was horrible.It was weird cos before I left the house , I was feeling alright & all . Don't know why suddenly when I went to school during Eng lessons , I started to sneeze non stop so much so that all the tissue papers that I brought along with me , I used them all up . I think it's the weather . Most recently , it's quite fucked up in that in the day time , it was so hot & everything & then in the evening , it was very chilly & cold . But thank goodness , I'm better now . Came back home , took medication . My cold seems to have vanished now but at least now I know better . I will bring a sweater/jacket along with me from tomorrow onwards then . Even though it's leceh but better to be safe than sorry.Got back my speaking/presentation task results . Ah I scored 23/30 , pretty good effort I should say . Was expecting worst but was a nice surprise when my Eng lecturer handed out my results slip to me eariler before I left school for home.Found out that McFly's latest single Transylvania will be shelved back for release to April 23th . Aww was hoping that it will be released this month aka 26th Feb but that's ok at least they have already confirmed that will be the next single after the fanastic Sorry's Not Good Enough/Friday Night . In fact yesterday I heard the acoustic of Transylvania aka nicknamed Tranny by McFly , it's awesome ! & I thought they couldn't top it off with the acoustic version of Sorry . Damn.
