ooh saw on Elsa's MySpace & MSN tagline that she's also gonna perform at the upcoming LIME Sonic Bang that will be taking next weekend . Er actually I already knew that from her a while back but it's just that I don't know the timing & date as to when she's performing.well she put that she will be performing on 9th Dec , Sat at 7.20pm at *scape Field (behind Cathay Cineleisure Orchard). I know strange timing but you have to bear in mind she's not the only 1 performing on that day ! Several local artistes will be performing too. She will be performing new songs from her upcoming still yet titled album in which I'm definitely gonna catch her performance cos the 1st time she performed at LIME's Cancer Warriors gig , I didn't went for it but this time I will.At least show some support for her in some ways or another lah . Besides I really like her music . Her debut single , Drift is awesome & fanastic . Love the lyrics , love the melodies & also her voice ! goodness me , Hui Li received a letter yesterday stating that she won another Edusave Scholarship AGAIN O.O & this's her 4th scholarship that she's getting my god . The scholarship's worth S$500 so which means to say that she's officially S$2000 dirt rich in the bank account . Meh she's so lucky . For me I only got 1 in my entire life -_- . That was way back in 2000 , when I was 'promoted' from Normal Academic in Sec 1 to Express in Sec 2 in my sec school days but still damn , real happy for her. Well duh I have to be . Then again I suppose it's better than not getting any scholarships to begin with , ah well.Yesterday night while sleeping , had lots of strange dreams in which most of them I was flirting with darkness & sadness . It was very strange cos I was dreaming that I was in this cold dark place , the kind of being in hell or something & that I was ruling some demon world with an iron fist or so & with me feasting on blood & raw meat & that I was dressed up in this strange looking outfit of sorts.Hmmm.. what does this dream that I dreamt about mean ? does that mean a good/bad sign or something ? I don't know but probably the Darkstalkers comic that I read before I went to bed has some answers haha so maybe before I go to sleep , I better don't read anything scary/freaky to remember when I'm sleeping.& crap , I just found out my timetable schedule , grouping list & timelines for my 2nd semester & noooooo it's HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE !! Madness I didn't know that gift wrapping pressies can be such a chore ! Eariler I spent almost 2 hours gift wrapping everything & it was quite tiring & not to mention it doesn't help matters that my gift wrapping skills are crappy to begin with !Eariler I gift wrapped something like 11 pressies or so :O , I also bought handphone straps too but I don't think it will be necessary for me to gift wrap those . At most I just mailed them to the 'deserved' recipients then haha . After gift wrapping the 1st 6 pressies , the 7th one that I had to gift wrap was the worst cos it was so big I had to use 2 sheets worth of gift wrapping paper & used lots of tape to tape everything together & somemore it was so big , I was a bit worried that couldn't be accomplished but I did it eventually yay without any complain haha -_- . I think whoever is receiving that mountain pressie from me , better treat or buy me something good for xmas + my upcoming b'day if you ask me LOLGift wrapping's such a chore & not to mention tough hard work but I believe it's all worth it I guess . It's the thought that counts & not to mention so what if my gift wrapping skills are crap ? Holas everyone , I'm back from Genting , after staying there for almost 4 days & I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually enjoyed the trip . Probably bcos I haven't been there since last June so there . Let me take you on a whirlwind trip when I'm there then & be warned , it's gonna be LONG winded !Day 1 (24th Nov '06 , Fri)I reached Genting's 1st World Hotel at 4.30am ! Considering the fact that the coach left S'pore at 10pm the previous night , reaching the place at the wee hours of the night was quite erm remarkable . & you imagine , I can't check into the hotel til 9am :O or so . So what happened during the next few hours to come ? My parents went to the casino & didn't come back til 7am or so (around 7am-ish went to McDonalds to have breakfast) in which the next 2-3 hours , me & the other 2 were waiting in the big spacious lobby while guarding the numerous barang barang's that we brought & also listening to songs in my mp3 while cracking some sick & stupid jokes over random issues which were quite funny.& as embarassing as it sounds , I haven't had a Big Breakfast AT ALL so that was kinda a 1st for me in trying but I wasn't really impressed with it cos the only thing that stands out was that it cames with a side dish of scrambled egg & also like what I like to call , a dismantled sausage muffin.After checking in , the moment me & the other 2 went to the hotel room , I immediately sat on the bed & SLEEP . That was around 9am-ish or so & everyone all slept til almost 3pm :O cos everyone was so tired & not to mention , it was so fucking difficult to sleep while I was in the coach cos in the middle of the night , there was this weird noise/sound coming from 1 of the seats in the bus which was SO annoying . Even listening to my mp3 doesn't help matters to try to make me sleep in vain. & I didn't even change into my PJ's :O , I just slept just like that haha !Was supposed to wake up at 12 noon to go for lunch but that didn't happened cos everyone all overslept except my dad cos for the next 3 days or so , he was 'working' in the casino so he's not sleep deprived whenever the whole family go to Genting.My mum who was sleeping in the room next door , came to my room & wrote a note & then left at 12.10pm cos my dad wanted to ask her to wake us up but everyone were all sleeping like dead logs . Even if there's a fire alarm or something , we can't wake up but will still sleep though the day hahaWe left the room at 3pm or so cos my mum wanted to eat something 'light' cos we are going to eat again a few hours later . So we ended up at this shop called Only Mee which served noodles & the works but I have to say it's possibly the crappiest restaurant I went to in Genting !I ordered Spaghetti which cost RM9 & it's probably the strangest Spaghetti I ever tried simply bcos 1stly the sauce's all weird & all . Although it's tomato based , there wasn't minced pork in it . Instead it was duck meat . If you think that's not weird enough , the noodles they used , it's the type that you can easily find in instant noodles & Spaghetti's supposed to be dry & not wet . Mine's almost soup based :O . Gross , somebody better make sure that sometimes cheap doesn't mean it's good , period.I guess that's possibly the 1st & last time I ever step inside Only Mee then.& after that went to 1st World's arcade to play . At least this time , there were more people . Eariler when we went in the morning , they haven't even open their doors yet . That was around 8am-ish or so & my mum told us that have to be back at the lobby at 8.45am & the arcade didn't opened til 8.30am . The other 2 went to play para while I brushed up on my Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter skills & dammit , Cyber Akuma's SO difficult to defeat.For the night , everyone walked to Resort/Highland hotel in which for dinner , we went to the chinese restaurant , the Genting Palace & cos we were late as we overshot on time , had to wait for seats . More waiting came again after we were finally assigned seats & I tell you it's like a ritual to go to Genting Palace for dinner on the 1st night of Genting . It's always like that !& guess what was 'new' on the menu ? Ostrich meat ! yup you heard me right , Ostrich ! I have been waiting to try ostrich meat for the longest time cos I read in magazines that it taste like beef but it's more healthier so I begged my mum to order a medium portion of stir fried ostrich meat with black pepper & spring onions while the rest of the 3-4 dishes we ordered large cos everyone was so hungry like crazy.& the worst thing's that we waited for almost close to an hour but thankfully the wait was worthwhile as everything was great . The ostrich meat was very nice & yes it tasted just like beef but it's more leaner & less fatty . Finally at least I can say that I tried ostrich before ! I would love to eat it again should I have the chance to . I think that's the most 'exotic' kinda meat I tried so far . I tried deer , ox tail & ox tongue too.Before our food came , I was oogling at the waiters around the restaurant & it's funny but Malaysian guys are quite cute if you ask me . The next few days to come , there were even more eye candy for me to look at heh !The 3 of us went to the arcade at the Resort hotel & forget tokens , in comes a taped card with credits inside it . Something like the arcade version of EZ Link in which it's so much better instead of lugging coins in my pockets & all .I realised most of the old games in both arcades were taken out . Even though some were left , the buttons were horrible & were spoilt big time . That's why I still like the arcade at Westmall if you ask me !Somemore the Marvel Vs Capcom game , it cost me RM2 while I only paid 50 cents in Westmall .While I was there , something rather horrible happened . I saw a RAT ! a really huge rat running around the place & it was so HUGE like the size of my palm ! Ick ! Hui Li commented that the only time she saw rats were in Fear Factor but EEW the rat was so big , I screamed & ran to the other side of the place . Had nightmares of it when I slept later on.& for the next few days at Genting , I bunked in with Hui Li . Woo hoo heaven man I tell you . No dad , no mum around to boss us around heh heh--------------------+++--------------------
Day 2 (25th Nov '06 , Sat)
Got up quite early cos yesterday I slept pratically like the whole day like a piece of dead log in which today my mum wanted to drag us to the Outdoor Theme Park . Wow it has been around like 5-6 years since I last went there so was kinda looking forward to it & I have to say that the beds at Genting RULES ! So nice to sleep , I wonder which company supplies Genting the beds man cos it has been waaay too long since I last had a damn good sleep !
Went to Burger King to grab some breakfast & haha they were showing Teen Titans on TV . I loved Teen Titans & I always watched it whenever I have the chance to on Cartoon Network.
I had Scrambled Eggs Platter which comes with a hot drink of choice . I chose cappuccino vanilla cos I wanted to try it as I never had cappuccino before & it tasted great ! & the SEP is just like McDonalds's Big Breakfast in that instead of scrambled eggs , the SEP comes with mini harshbrowns & dismantled scrambled ham croissant-wich.
After that , the 4 of us except my dad (who's busy 'working in the casino playing Roulette over time & time again) head onto the Outdoor Theme Park & the weather was LOVELY . It was sunny yeah but not that sunny & it was 17 degrees which was good !
My mum went to buy 4 passes which cost RM36 each in which it's a day pass . The 1st ride I tried except Hui Lin cos she was too chicken was something called The Spinner & below & the next few lines or so , are pics that I took using my ayam brand 0 dollar Motorola L6 phone :
Pretty amazing isn't it ? Essentially The Spinner takes me on a ride like iterally . It consists of numerous swing that has mental chains being pulled up to the top & also safety barriers attached to it so that once the pulley inside the machine the numerous mental chains were being raised up , I wouldn't get flunked away like a rag doll .
It was pretty scary cos while I was queing up for it , I looked at it & thought it looked pretty erm funky but I didn't expect that when I tried it on myself , it was quite nerve-wrecking ! I couldn't looked down or else I would screamed even more . I just kept looking up .
1 moment the swing pulled me up to almost touching the sky & the next , it just crashed & landed , well sorta but the ride lasted too short , about 20 secs or so . I would love to try it again !
Sure I was scared & all but The Spinner took me on a really good ride !
After that , I went to sit on a mini rollercoaster called The Flying Dragon .
& it was a pretty decent ride . It did took everyone inside the 1st World Hotel but there was 1 time where it jutted suddenly & my rib cage was hurt ! Hui Li said that this's nothing but peanuts . Hui Lin didn't wanna took it though & I only managed to take the pic of the Flying Dragon's head & not the whole body of it haha.
& the next 2 rides namely Space Spot & CorkScrew Rollercoaster , are the ones that Hui Li took but I didn't cos I was too chicken . Hui Li wanted to try Space Shot for the longest time cos it looked really thrilling . Even though she queued up for almost an hour for both rides , it was worth the wait for her .
So while she was the only person game enough to queue up for Space Shot , the 3 of us went to took a ride in the Ferris Wheel & believe it or not , they were playing Paris Hilton's debut CD in the ride :O . I know what the ...

& amazingly enough , my mum went to accompany Hui Li to take the CorkScrew Rollercoaster while me & Hui Lin didn't so we just sat down somewhere & wait .
& before we left , we took the last attraction for the day which's the Vintage Car . & on the way out , I took this pic of a London Double Decker bus which was located outside a London Cafe & around this time , Hui Lin lost her watch & since then she couldn't stop asking about the time !
My whole body was all aching big time when we got back to the hotel room cos you imagine , we spent almost 4-5 hours walking non stop in the Outdoor Theme Park . :O
& for dinner , we walked our way to Highlands hotel to eat the buffet spread in the Coffee Terrace & goodness , that place & The Bakery were given a major face lift & it looked absolutely fanastic & zen like now . What a huge change if you ask me !
& cos my parents were able to use points stored inside their Genting cards , they only paid for 3 people's share instead of 5 in which each adult has to pay RM52++ for it . The buffet spread was huge like iterally & I almost see stars haha!
They had Chinese , Peranakan , Indian , Western , Japanese . It was really good overall but right now , I'm not really big on buffets that much & the desserts section was quite lame . They should do something about it & expand & improve it if possible .
My mum kinda went overboard with the durian ice cream & all of us ate a bit too much & I learnt an important lesson in that never ever drink cold stuff at night especially in chilly weather !
Why ? Cos I downed a Starbucks Chocolate Creme blended before I slept & I suffered a mild asthma attack at night & I couldn't slept well :O not to mention I was coughing & sneezing like 1 kind so yeah no more cold drinks before I sleep !

Day 3 (26th Nov '06 , Sun)
Got up today with a rather heavy head cos of yesterday . Cos I didn't took breakfast today as my mum wanted to combine breakfast & lunch at Kenny Rogers so I had to hold on for a while . Went to the arcade to kick somemore butt at Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter & also Darkstalkers Night Warriors Revenge while the other 2 went onto para somemore.
Surprisely , at the last stage of Darkstalkers , the bad ass Pyron is quite a whimp & pretty chicken to K.O him as Pyron's just a useless piece of floating fire vapour alien haha
& around this time , by the time the 3 of us made our way to Kenny Rogers , I started to feel a bit dizzy . Not sure why but my mum commented that my face looked really pale like a ghost when she saw me . Til I sat down then some colour started to come back & that I looked much better .
My mum then said that my dad won a lot of RM for the past 3 days aka his overhaul at the casino haha & apparently it's the most amount of RM he even won , a 5 figure sum in RM which's like wow :O & he only played 2 games , Roulette & slot machines in which the bulk of his earnings come from Roulette as the pay out is quite high , ranging from 1:18 or 1:35 & yeah his luck's damn good , this time round so which means to say that this time , the trip & all the meals we had , were free free & more free haha
& naturally we 3 begged my dad to give somemore RM cos today is the day to buy xmas pressies galore . Wanted to do that yesterday but decided not to so that I'm given somemore time to decide who am I gonna buy pressies for & eventually each of us were given almost close to RM1000 to use & spend woo
In the afternoon , at 3.30pm , went to watch Happy Feet & the tickets cost RM11 per pop which were considered cheap & it was almost full house when the 3 of us stepped inside the cinema & it was a very nice movie & I adored the cute little Mumble aww he was so innocent looking when he was young . I don't like the adult Mumble though haha but overall there's an important message to the movie which's conservation . Now I understand why the movie's so successful in the US box office & even edged out 007 Casino Royale . It's still no1 as of now
After the movie ended , went around 1st World Hotel to shop for things . Only managed to get 80% of the pressies & it will be a chore to carry all of them back home as everything's SO heavy & it's not funny.Whoever I bought pressies for , better pay me back on the double ! haha no lah just kidding , then again xmas's a season all about giving , not receiving cos I guess it doesn't apply to those people that I bought pressies for then haha
For dinner , wahaha , we went to the superior Thai restaurant aka Imperial Rama that's located at Highlands & goodness it's such a high class place it was quite outta place when I 1st stepped inside . I been there before so this's my 2nd time there & we were treated like royalty there.
& the dinner was fanastic even though it's the most pricey meal for the whole trip clocking at almost RM220++ but it was very worth it . There was thai fish cakes , green chicken curry , tom yam soup , prawns , braised beancurd & all . Wanted to order ostrich meat again but my mum said no d'oh !
& yup my dad won even more $ again at the casino haha & after dinner , I didn't wanna go to the arcade again cos you imagine , almost 4 days non stop worth of 'partying' in the form of kicking butt in the arcade so it was starting to take a toll on me so eventually went to buy the reminding few xmas pressies in which eventually I had a hard time carrying everything back home :O
Before we left the place , while my mum was in the midst of footing the bill , I went outside Imperial Rama & took these pics at the Pizza Express counter & since when a pizza shop serves Yuo Tiao aka fried dough fritters eh ?

There's 1 shop in 1st World called Choc Club & wahaha once I stepped inside , I couldn't come out heh heh cos everywhere was chocolates , chocolates & more chocolates ! 1 of my fave sweets's called Daim & it's FABOO . Bought a 300g pack of it , which cost RM26.90 which's quite dirt cheap .Was tempted to buy the 400g at RM35.90 though & tonight Hui Lin bunked in with me & Hui Li cos my mum wanted to watch football in the casino .

Day 4 (27th Nov '06 , Mon)
Wah so fast today's the last day of the trip . Sheesh time files so fast if you ask me . Did somemore last min shopping around the place & haha look what I took outside The World Of Cartoons shop :
LOL & the big tweety bird is 1.3m tall if you wanna know . Hilarious & went to Causeway Bay for lunch before I eventually checked outta Genting . Had a plate of curry beef brisket rice which was fab . Initally I thought it was not spicy hot but I was so wrong it was :O
Carrying my luggage & a whole big bag of xmas pressies in both arms wasn't funny to begin with ! Both were equally heavy & at the end my dad had to help me carry my luggage on the way back home tsk . The whole bag of xmas pressies was quite heavy cos majority of what I bought were made from glass so if I'm not careful to begin with , BOOM , there goes everything .
Overall , the trip was great except for a few hiccups here & there but I generally enjoyed myself . Has been a rather long while since I went to Genting but it was hella fun . Somemore this time , my dad won so much $ to the extent that pratically all the costs ranging from food to hotel room rates were being covered so pratically I went on a free trip haha
& I'm sure my parents will echo the same thing , after all they been to Genting like 10 times for this year & you can pratically say that Genting's like my 2nd home now haha so next time if you wanna go there & if you're a greenhorn , just give me a buzz & I will act as your personal tour guide heh heh since I pratically know Genting like the back of my palm like iterally.

finally finished packing my bags for tomorrow's trip getaway to Genting & my luggage's about to burst even though I'm only be going away for ... 4 days . Well that's a record of sorts cos usually I will be there for 3 days + the last time I went there was last June so in a way I'm looking forward to it .See whether I can sneak into the casino , order a few drinks in the pub/bar there that's if I'm not kicked out by the security guards by force ! If not , I will head to the outdoor theme park . If that doesn't work out , then last resort's to go to the arcade & played til I go crazy . I wanna catch a movie there for sure !I wanna watch Happy Feet when I'm there cos I heard the tickets being sold in the Genting Cineplex cost about RM 8-10 , which's like S$4-5 a pop & Happy Feet's no1 in the US box office this week , beating 007 Casino Royale which eventually came in at no2 !Somemore I seen the trailers of Happy Feet in cinemas before & it looks really cute & sweet + it features the voices of Hugh Jackman , Robin Williams , Brittney Murphy , Nicole Kidman , Eijah Wood & many more so it should be good !Also , I have to do my xmas shopping ! I know it's still a while more before xmas hits but I better do some serious shopping while I'm there if I manage to . Have to make a xmas list if you ask me ! Last year at least I still can count names with my fingers & toes but this year I can't leh :SSo after I write down my list , have to decide on what pressies to buy . Now that's gonna be a challenge but I see what I can do about it.New issue of LIME came in the mailbox today woot & got another free bag from them worth S$12.90 . Comes in either black or miltary green & the colour of the bag that I got was miltary green.It looks nice but quite plain looking so I jazz things up with my remaining 2 Electrico badges & some dangling earrings from Perlini cos I don't or seldom wear them now so I thought why not they will jazz up my bag & the bag's looking good so far , should find somemore badges or so , so that I can stuck them on my bag , it's as plain as a bagel you know !

Linda told me to go get a tub of ice cream to celebrate over the weekend in which I did in the form of a McFlurry cos I realised that I haven't had 1 for AGES ! So eariler before I came home , I just had to have 1 & boy it tasted GOOD !Now I'm in a 'see food eat food' diet which's essentially means if I see certain food I have to eat it haha . But what to do ? I love food & I definitely eat whatever rubbish there's out there in this world.But anyway this morning I went to the temple to offer thanks to the Goddess Of Mercy for the grades that I obtained & also prayed for other issues as well too . I went with my mum & youngest sister . After I had lunch at a food court in which I had good 'ol chicken rice , I told the both of them that I wanted to go to Bugis Junction in which I left soon after cos they wanted to go to OG to do some shopping before going to my maternal grandma's house.& I was off to BJ & that's when my food mission began where I went to wallop so much rubbish when I reached there . I had Bread Papa cream puff & fondue chocolat , potato croquette from Corochan , Yoshinoya's signature beef bowl , 4 leaves's steam cheesecake & many more.Yeah I know scary man but what to do ? I love junk food can't live without it & it's 1 of the best things in life.

Decided not to hit the gym today was feeling really lazy & also was busy sorting out all the blog entries found in my MySpace blog in that everything was moved to my new home in blogspot which's www.karenpang.blogspot.com cos I don't want to be running at 2 different places at different times.+ I'm so used to using blogspot already & MySpace to me is not a really good place to blog & all so that will be my new home for music ramblings & all . Spend the whole morning/afternoon transferring all the data to there which was crazy , changing all the html codes & all & not to mention find a suitable blogskin to go along with too.Reminds me of the days when I used to set up my very 1st blog if you ask me , what memories.& somemore eariler I had a curry puff ! Had been ages since I last had a curry puff if you ask me ! I don't like Old Chang Kee's ones . I mean I love the pastry & all but I don't like the filling as it's too spicy & somemore I can't really stomach spicy food that well.My mum bought the curry puff & a stick of giant fish balls at a coffee shop & Hui Li didn't want the fish balls & curry puff so I had them haha . I still haven't had my ice cream fix yet if you ask me.Come to think about it , I haven't had a McFlurry for ages . Maybe I should get 1 tomorrow . If not I probably get Ben & Jerry's whee

haha this's so nice , the moment I post on MySpace in the Bulletin section on the grades that I scored , I received quite a lot of comments soon after . Not to mention on MSN too . I felt so loved suddenly haha I'm so honoured *sniff sniff* . Thanks to Linda/Lunarin , Tim , Leonard , Maggie , Angeline , Desmond , JerkieJunkieBeatHead , Kelvin , Marika for the congrats & shoutouts :) *hugs*ok lah I don't wanna hide anything , I might as well reveal the grades that I scored for my 1st semester subjects in Uni then . I scored 3As & 1B !! & needless to say I'm over the moon when I saw the grades that was reflected in the database YAY for me whoo hooThe B grade that I got for was for English while the As that I scored were for Accounting , Maths & Econs . I was extremely surprised for English cos the final exam paper that I took was so difficult so I was thinking I probably might get a C or D but imagine my surprise when I scored a B cos all along , I scored really bad for English & Chinese . Asking me to speak the languages is ok but asking me to write & all now that's a different story altogether.But still YES I'm so happy & my parents are happy for me too . This's better than I expected if you ask me cos I was saying that if I managed to get As & Bs , that's a bonus cos now that I'm in Uni , I cannot expect to top the class nor get top scores & all so I have to be realistic & was thinking hey if I managed to pass with decent grades that's alright end of story.But wow what a pleasant surprise , looks like all the hard work/effort & mostly proscinating on my part has finally paid off.Eamon was asking me on my grades yesterday haha & he's a smart person , no surprises that he got an A for Maths & all . He was telling me that Sabrina scored straight As in which I wasn't surprised cos pratically everyone knows that she's like the smartest girl in class but I'm happy for her which's cool *shrugs*I used to be very competitive which wasn't doing any good for me so I'm like it doesn't matter what grades my classmates get but it does matters on what grades I got cos what's the point in comparing with the creme of the crop in which that's not my main goal .I'm just an average ordinary student in class & I don't wish to compete , there's no point in doing that cos after 3 years , everyone in class will get a degree cert & it's not like The Amazing Race or Survivor style you know what I mean ?

Received an email from my programme executive Kit yesterday afternoon & what I saw in the email almost got the life outta me frozen like iterally ! Apparently from what I initally thought that my results to my 1st semester in Uni will be out on 27th Nov , I was so wrong . Kit wrote to say that the results for my Maths subject's out :O & she proceeded onto telling me the procedures to know the know.So I went to the relevant website & plugged in my particulars & d.o.b & the strangest thing was that I didn't see any grades or so in the database so after much trying on my part for the whole of yesterday night , I gave up & the funny thing was that soon after , I had difficulty sleeping cos so many thoughts were running though my head , thinking what kinda grade/s will be reflected on the screen the next day.When I got up this morning , the 1st thing I did was to call up Kit but she was on leave today but nevertheless I explained my situation to the person over the phone in which her name was Joey who was filling for Kit cos despite me entering my particulars & d.o.b , the system state that they can't find my particulars in the database :O& then soon after Joey called me back again as she managed to find out what's wrong . For some dumb reason , they keyed the year I was born in wrongly ! They put 1989 instead of 1987 -.- . Haha I don't know whether to laugh or not . Ok so this means that I'm techincally 17 years old or so it seems haha& what do you know , everything was solved after that & get this , I saw the grades of not 1 , not 2 , not 3 but all 4 of the subjects I took during my 1st sem ! I was all O.O when I saw that & it was really shocking cos I thought only Maths was supposed to be out only but wow oh wow , what a pleasant surprise.I did much better than I expected cos I was expecting the worst , well I mean I already prepared for the worst so what I saw in the screen , was SWEET , fanastic & BRILLANT BRILLANT BRILLANT . I was so shocked I was unable to talk properly for a sec.1st thing I did was that I called my mum soon after & also I told my dad whom just came back around this time.& I already SMS'd 3 of my teachers in the afternoon in which 1 of them used to be my former form teacher in ITE to let her know the good news !& what better way to celebrate than to go to the arcade & head onto pastamania to eat a feast heh heh & there's now definitely a good excuse/reason as to why I'm heading to Genting next week then yay :)Til then I will be a very very happy bunny & I will be at the other side , grinning away like a cat for the next few days .& yes yes eariler Carrie Chong of 987FM made my day in playing Electrico's Hello ! finally I say cos I have been trying to request & hear the song since Tue night & my efforts have paid off yay& yes eariler I heard Hello & not much of a difference actually . The only difference's that the 1st 30 secs or so of the song was cut off . Basically when you heard the 1st drum beats after the keyboard beats but still it was great hearing Hello.What a great day it turns out to be :)

Caught the 1st 1/2 hour of Pop Inc eariler & hmmm.. interesting discussion topic today in the form of guy-liner . Guy-liner ? What's that you might ask ? Well it's simply guys wearing eye liner . Ta dah so simple haha I know it's no brainer .But yeah if you realised recently , there's a wave of bands of guys wearing eye liner . Some acts that came to my mind are Good Charlotte , The Killers , AFI , My Chemical Romance , Panic ! At The Disco & Fall Out Boy & of course S'pore Idol contestant Paul Twohill.& my opinons on guy liner ? For me I don't really mind guys wearing eye liner but when you start seeing guys wearing more than just eye liner , maybe it's time to take a step back . I myself don't wear much makeup aside from mascara & eyeshadow .I haven't tried wearing eyeliner yet though probably I should start wearing it sometime soon but please don't give me blue or any weird shade of colour . I think basic black's good enough.My back's better thank goodness so I probably stop using the weights machine now cos I suspect that might be the cause as to why my back gave way AGAIN . I had a rather hard time sleeping but I hope in the days to come , my back will be alright.So I guess using the weights machine's outta the question for me now but I still will use the dumb bells that're found in the gym then.

I stayed up til almost 2am ++ cos I was busy talking to Linda & then before I was about to log off , Amanda came online on MSN hahaHas been a while since I talked to Amanda on MSN but it was cool . We talked about so many things aside from the band's stuff but eariler before that had a really long yet meaningful conversation with Linda too . Hope her headache will be ease with panadol consumption.It was weird cos as soon as I told the other folks on MSN that Hello might be the new single after Love In New Wave , I got different answers/opinions from people . Maggie was going all WOAH & COOL , Jenny was quite surprised & shocked that Electrico choose to release that song . I caught the latest Disney Channel Original Movie Wendy Wu : Homecoming Warrior eariler & thank goodness it was 1 heck of a great movie seeing that Disney Channel has overplayed the trailers to the movie to death but luckily it's a nice movie & interestingly enough , 2 of the actors used to act in Power Rangers Ninja Storm.There're plenty of eye candy guys in the movie if you ask me hee . Austin , the boyfriend of a jerk for Wendy Wu (played by Brenda Song) is really blonde & quite cute . Austin's played by Andy Fischer-Price.The movie contains a generous dose of kung fu kicking action & during the whole 1 1/2 hours , I was glued to the TV & another hottie hot hottie alert in the form of Shin Koyamada ! In which this's his 1st lead in a movie. The brother of Wendy Wu , Kenny is pretty cute too.Shin plays Shen , a buddhist monk who's quite a stalker in the movie which kinda freaks Brenda's character out in more ways or another . I hate the robe he wore & not to mention he tied his hair in a ponytail which's really eurgh.But luckily he got a major fashion makeover from Wendy & goodness , after that he became a major HOTTIE HOT HOTTIE alert heh heh heh & oh Shin's previous flim roles include The Last Samurai in which he had a bit part in the movie & he also acted in Power Rangers Wild Force too GASPKids Central's currently showing that at the moment so I probably keep my eyes on the lookout for him hee heeI think for a 1st in a Disney Channel Original Movie , some Chinese were spoken between Shin's character & Wendy Wu's grandma which's pretty nifty & cool . Surprisely , Shin spoke pretty good Chinese & you imagine he's already fluent in English , Japanese & he's at the midst of learning Spanish too woah.Wendy Wu's main objective was to win the homecoming queen crown . She did win eventually but she decided that there're more things in life that're more important than that.The cast's pretty chinese oriented which's great cos it make me appericate more of my chinese culture & roots , which you don't get that in a movie .Also who's up for mooncakes also ? I caught cartoon comedy Flushed Away this afternoon in which the voices of Hugh Jackman & Kate Winslet voiced the characters in the movie & wow what a really funny movie in a good way of course !There were plenty of slap stick gags & at times I can't stop laughing while watching the movie . 1 of the memorable characters are a bunch of slugs which're named The Snails & they're so cute & full of drama.Whether when they were screaming , singing & all , they're just so funny . There was even 1 part in Flushed Away where they were singing Akon's Lonely hahaha but overall it's a really cool movie & very memorable , I will definitely buy the VCD when it's out that's for sure.Cos I went to watch Flushed Away at 2.10pm , I reached Westmall around 12.15pm cos my dad wanted to fetch me as around that time he wanted to go to the bank & then buy lunch after that.So during that free spare time , what did I do ? I went to have lunch at KFC & then go to the arcade heh heh.I went to try the new addition to the KFC menu aka the fish & chips meal & verdict ? I tasted more flour than fish in the fish & chips . The only thing I liked's the crinkle cut chips & the fish's batter's pretty crispy & spicy but then again maybe it's just me.I tell you , no matter how much KFC meals I eat , I'm NEVER full . It's that bad I tell you , well my appetite I mean.& after that I went to the arcade to kick some butt which was great , I needed my arcade fix ! & what do you know , I still have 2 tokens left haha so I probably go again next week or probably in the days to come .

My back's better today thank goodness . I think the medicated plasters worked really well thank goodness for them they're a lifesaver whew.Yesterday as the forums of ggates put it , it was Gareth Gates's Day & don't give me that look but I have no idea why Nov 7th they choose it to be his day outta 365 days in the year but I'm surprised that after 5 years since Gareth bursted into the scene coming in 2nd in the original Idol series that started it all aka Pop Idol , they still remembered . For me that kinda slipped off my mind as I consider Nov 7th as a normal day .Have been addicted to watching TV again & this time it's Martin Yan's Quick & Easy which's currently airing at 11.30am on Ch5 & also Power Rangers Wild Force which's currently airing at 6pm on KidsCentral & both shows aired on weekdays.I like Martin Yan & loved watching his cooking shows since young . He make cooking looks & sounds so easy if you ask me & I'm sure everyone would know his trademark lingo aka Yan Can Cook.as for Power Rangers , it goes way back when I was really young aka the series that started it all which was Mighty Morphin Power Rangers . I like the Wild Force series . Some of the other ones I like as well are Time Force , Lightspeed Rescue . I find Lost Galaxy a major bore though.So in between 11-11.30am , I will be watching Pop Inc . Sometimes after Power Rangers Wild Force end at 6.30pm , I would watch the 2nd 1/2 of Pop Inc in which I will be watching later on cos Christian Bautista will be appearing & performing !
YES YES YES can't wait to see it & he will be belting out The Way You Look At Me . I'm planning to get his album Completely cos I heard he's damn good at ballads . Then again I'm not sure , I see how 1st.

Had a rather hard time sleeping yesterday not bcos I was thinking of things & all but bcos of my back which was pratically killing me all night !I knew I shouldn't have increased the weights's volume to 40 pounds cos I normally use & lift 30 pounds worth of weights for my arms & legs . I'm not sure what unit it's in though I think it's in pounds or something but yeah yesterday I tried lifting 40 pounds for my legs & then I used 30 pounds to do for my back.& sure enough , at night my back started to give me a real pain in the ass , it got so bad that I couldn't really sleep or should I say had a proper sleep ick so I guess it's better to stick to lifting 30 pounds worth of weights cos could tell that my back couldn't take the pressure.So after I showered today , I put medicated plasters behind my back & I'm feeling slightly better now , should have known that such a thing will happen to me . Dammit I'm so unfortunate tskGinette of Astreal left me a message on MySpace telling me to say hi after the gig on Dec 2nd that will be taking place at the S'pore Science Centre . Nice of her to do that & yeah I wouldn't mind to go up to Ginette & the guys to say hi . It's the least I can do I guess & Astreal's music's great , kinda regret not knowing their music eariler but it's better than nothing.& I'm definitely looking forward to see Astreal perform in which I haven't got the chance to but next month I will !

Oops forgot to blog about yesterday's belated b'day celebrations of my paternal grandpa & the youngest one Hui Lin in which she will turn a god damn 13 years of age tomorrow . Wow 13 ? That's pretty something.Hui Li was in a pissy mood yesterday night when everyone went back to my paternal grandparents's house . She was grumbling that she could have use the time to study cos her O levels are starting officially tomorrow & she's freaking out big time . Was scolded by my dad's eldest bro's son over some trival issues & she was so pissed off & started to swear at the back of his face hahaThere were family politics (a clever term Dan used cos was telling me all about the knows & goabouts in my family as all along couldn't find the right term to specify all this b.s going on ) going all along in the paternal side in which a lot of them I don't like but ah well what to do ? at most I just put a fake smile in front of everyone , well mostly.My paternal grandma was kinda freaking out yesterday night when I arrived cos she told me that she called my house in the morning & couldn't find me & she was grilling me like a police inspector as to where I go & what time I come back & all O.OYou know I haven't have a boyfriend yet & I'm already starting to fear for my life & safety now ! I know she's concerned with me & but I want to make things clear that I'm NOT A KID ANYMORE period.My mum bought a Secret Recipe cake for the occasion & it's SR's signature cake aka the chocolate banana & woah the cake was heavy like iterally & initally I thought it's the box that's heavy -.- but no leh it's the cake & the cake itself is rich & bloody sinful.It's like a dessert version of 3 layered fatty pork the kind that you use in kong bak pau . Yeah that kind & guess what ? I had 2 huge slices wahaha . My mum was complaining that the bananas that was being used in the cake tasted stale . Erm rightBao Sui & her mum came back from KL & will be leaving on 8th , Wed & the stuff that my mum said about Bao Sui putting on weight & being so fat icks the hell outta me & even I myself am not spared & yeah I was feeling like a f-ktard when she said all these.You know what ? I couldn't possibly give a damn on all this b.s . It's like as good as telling someone who's overweight already that he/she's fat & demoralising that someone's self esteem that's already rock bottom & talking about all this , I can't stand girls who're already skeleton thin & looks like the kind that the wind can blown them away easily & that they still can proclaimed that they're FAT.It's either they have a low IQ or is it EQ or something . Those already thin girls have no damn-ing idea how demoralising it's to be really overweight so next time you say that phase again , put yourself in someone's else's shoes who's like 2-3 times more heavier than you.No oh wait why not you try to wear a fat suit & put on a wig & see how's like that most overweight people are being treated real shabby & like dirt then you will understand the plight of these people.------------------------Listening to Maksim's 4th album now which's called Electrik . I'm a Maksim's groupie of sorts cos I have all 3 of his previous CDs as well with thanks to Jenny for buying them for my 19th b'day & so far the stuff I heard on Electrik are great . I like him he's a really snazzy cool pianist with a bad boy image to boot heh heh but alas he's married :( & he even has a daughter now who's called Leeloo & she's the inspiration behind Leeloo's Tune , a song that can be found in his 2nd CD Variations Part I & II , bless .So if you don't like classical music but if you want to listen mainstream classical , you should check Maksim out & oh of course the lovely ladies of Bond too . & to me I think both of them make classical music sounds oh so hip & cool.

Eariler this afternoon , I watched making the video to Evanescence's Call Me When You're Sober . It was aired at 4pm & it only lasted 1/2 a hour & it was really interesting to see how the video was being made .& yes yes you guess it my eyes was hovering & looking around for the hottie hot hottie in the video aka UK actor Oliver Goodwill & in the 1st few mins , he spoke & omg what a sexy accent he got HAHA & goodness he's so dashing & red blooded hot.Did you see the way he ate the apple in the video & giving that kinda sick seductive smile ? ooh it sends shivers down my spine & yeah man , me , Hema & Hui Li are all falling heads over heels over him.But it was cool seeing the whole concept to the video being laid down & made & there's another pretty hot guy in Evanescence aka guitarist John LeCompt heh heh . I think he's pretty alright if only he would shave that goatee/beard of his , he would looked much better.& guess what ? I bought new CDs again ! This time it's local songbird Corrinne May's very 1st xmas album & also her 3rd album The Gift which contains 9 xmas songs & 2 original songs from Corrinne + also Maksim's 3rd CD Electrik in which I'm gonna take the next few days to listen prim & proper.But I can tell you Corrinne May's AMAZING with a capital A ! I just love her work she's brillant . Am listening to The Gift now & she just blows me away . I have her previous album the fab sounding Safe In A Crazy World.Gonna lend both Corrinne's CDs to my aunt tomorrow cos she never heard her music before so yeah I'm sure my aunt will be blown away by Corrinne May's voice . Her voice's just captivating & mind blowing.
