Somemore my dad & Hui Li wanted to go back home early to watch football aka Chelsea Vs Liverpool .

After Dan left for a while to load his gear into his car , Jiha gave me my belated pressie which was a mug which I really like . Thanks Jiha ! & then Dave left 1st & finally I managed to see what kinda vehicle he drives . He drives a very nice red van . Not a car , but a van ! & I waved him goodbye before he left .

In a way Jiha was in a state of shock cos she still can't believe that Dan's gonna fetch her home but I bet this experience will be a memorable one & make her very happy indeed haha . Jiha sat at the back while I sat in the front , just like last time when Dan sent me & Hui Li back home.

However before we left , Marcia was asking Dan whether could he sent her back but cos his gear was at the backseat of his car , there was no more room . He tried to squeeze it in his car boot but to no avail . Eventually Marcia hitched a ride from either Des or Will I think & Dan realised right now he left his sunshades where the stage was ! oops so he hurriedly went to retrieve them .

When that happened , I talked to Jiha a bit more & yeah she was cool with everything . Not that she should complain cos my bro's sending her back leh . Dan was playing Muse's older album Absolution in his car . I liked some of the songs on there so I probably should go check out their older material considering the fact that I'm still embarassed that I only got to know about them just recently but hey better late than never.

I talked to Dan somemore about his thoughts about Muse's gig that took place in Tue at Fort Canning Park such as the post after gig party , also what happened prior to them performing eariler , the sound system & all . Luckily things never went wrong just now cos he was worried they might screw up cos of the fact that they did an on the spot soundcheck but phew thank goodness everything went according to plan despite him gripping about the somewhat sub par sound system .

Well to me the sound system eariler was alright but for Dan it wasn't so this sorta issue differs from each person . He asked me how long I had known Jiha & he was surprised (or so I think) that I known her for a very long time , since Sec 1 to be exact.

& before I know it , we reached Jiha's place with some directions from her cos just like my place , he wasn't so familiar where she exactly stays but this time it's a bit different cos at least in a way he was familiar with her place but for me , no such luck leh

After Dan & I said our goodbye's to her , it was off to Great World City & ah we passed by the place where Jacq works . Cool at least now I know where she work at & by this time , we got stuck in a traffic jam cum flood cum accident .

The flood was gross , to see a large volume of water gushing out from the MRT station it was yuck & mucky brown in colour . Erugh & somemore there was a police car in front so that can't be good & some stupid car cut in front of Dan which led him to say the F word haha but anyway I'm very used to him swearing in my face . Like I don't swear at all.

Come to think about it , I think I swear more than him though haha . So during the traffic jam cum flood cum accident which I was stuck in for about 1/2 hour or so , we talked even more things which was crazy such as the different sizes of cars , his job but ah at least now I know both his parents drive & I gripped about Uni as well saying that next Mon I have to do a presentation.

Also I asked him about next Sun's ASEAN ROCKS event in which no I'm not going & even though the event hasn't take place yet , he's already predicting that will be a flop or should I say another take $ & run that sorta affair cos in such cases , they have to play for corporate clients in which I know Dan absolutely hates !

Cos these kinda people , are usually those who go there to such gigs for the sake of going or simply put , they're not genuine fans . The worst's when they don't know what kind of music the artiste that their company's sponsering in does or even worst still , never heard of you before . Damn that stinks.

At least for such school gigs that they did eariler at Ngee Ann , Dan doesn't mind cos despite the sound system , at least post gig he & the rest still can mingle with their fans , sign stuff & take pics with them which's a good thing not like playing for corporate guests .

I'm not sure if Electrico are going to take the stage with Wicked Aura & Hady Mirza next Sun together or they're playing separately but I know their set's 30 mins but I don't see the need to go at all . Cos I have to pay like what S$38 or S$48 (inclusive of a mug of beer I think) on the day itself which's insane !

Somemore the venue will be held at Hard Rock Cafe . Unless I managed to score some tickets to ASEAN ROCKS via the MTV Asia contest that I took part , I don't mind but no way am I gonna shell out so much $ again . Hey do you know that both amounts are the same prices that you can pay for their Live In New Wave concert excluding the 20% early bird discount ?

Not only that , aside from Bamboo which I heard of excluding their music , the rest of the other bands that hails from other ASEAN countries that will be gracing the 4-5 day event , I never heard of them before + little or minimal promotion's done on it too aside from some ads that I saw on MTV but that's about it man so good luck I should say !

The funny thing & also deja vu much was that eariler we passed by Queensway Sec which was my alumni Sec school & I was telling Dan about the horror stories that I had to endure during Sec 2-4 & went to say that Sec 1 was the best time of my life in Sec school . I had to endure so much verbal abuse back then but like what he said , it's all in the past & at least now I come out to be a more stronger person which's true :) Thanks bro for the wise words as always !

& just like me , he's not a football fan HURRAH . I think Dan's belongs to a rare breed of guys who doesn't appericate football haha & ah he told me that he's moving house next week cos the place he's currently staying at , it's on en bloc sale so whether he likes it or not , he has to move outta there so while the movers move his family's stuff to their new home , he will be staying at a hotel wahaha . So good , I want to stay in a hotel too . Presidental Suite to be exact haha

I still don't know where he stays exactly but I roughly have an idea where . Er I hope I do cos eariler I did asked him whether can he show me where he stays but he's not going back so early so drats no luck . Probably next time then :) cos I mean he knows where I stay now so sooner or later it's high time I should know where he stays too haha

Dan let me alight at Great World City's Taxi Stand & I thanked him once again for taking the time in sending me there & that I will see him again soon . Probably not so soon cos all of my tests are coming up in due time but I see how things goes & try to work things out cos I want to get my b'day pressie from him ! & besides now that the new campus's pretty darn near his workplace so no sweat .

What started out as a day that supposedly went wrong , turned out right & great eventually . I'm so glad that Jiha had a great time catching Electrico live for the very 1st time at the very 1st gig that she attended somemore & not to mention specially taking the time off in accompanying me & vice versa to watch their performance & I bet this's definitely not gonna be the last time she's going to an Electrico gig !

Haha I saw ET's name in today's ST , page 2 of the home section to be exact while I was reading the papers in the morning . Was a bit surprised to see his name in that the article his name was mentioned on , was regarding about this mentally troubled masseur who stabbed his agent to death 13 times & that he was sentenced to life in prison .

There was another lawyer whose name was on the article together with ET & both feel that the punishment that the judge dealt to the masseur was way too stiff but hey at least this time round , I managed to spot ET's name in the papers !

Cos he told me here & there , his name would cropped up in ST but being ignorant or blind , I just didn't bothered to take notice until eariler haha . Was excited in a strange way & SMS'd him on this soon after my little 'discovery' .

TODAY & ST also did up reviews about Muse's gig that took place on Tue at Fort Canning Park . Surprisely , not really that good reviews that I read , ranging from the not so impressive sound system , poor toilet facilities & also the duration of the gig . I thought it will last about 2 hours or so but it only lasted about 1 1/2 hours.

But still , LAMC Productions said that Muse are considering to come back to perform in S'pore again so yes got hope for me haha

Forgot to add that on Mon when I went to HMV to buy Muse's Blackholes & Relevations + Ayumi Hamasaki's Duty , I finally saw Koda Kumi's latest 5th album Black Cherry on the CD racks ! But it will set me for S$54.95 for her album !!! :O

Oh god why are such albums are so pricey ?! That's crazy but I don't know , I'm still pondering whether to get Black Cherry . I mean I like some of the songs on there , such as Cherry Girl , Get Up & Move !! , I'll Be There but the rest that I heard , I'm not impressed but see how , or else I find some ways to get the album cheaper . S$54.95 for a CD?! That's pushing the limit !

Had a short chat with Dan on MSN this morning before I left for school . Cos of limited time , I only managed to ask him some things about how Muse's gig turned out on Tue , somemore details about this Sat's gig that Electrico will be doing at Ngee Ann Open House , Livonia & also the big one in March !

He gave me somemore further details about the big one that will be taking place on 2nd March & whee I'm psyched up & extremely excited no doubt about it & I thought the Ngee Ann Open House gig will be 1 hour long but no it will be probably last about 20-25 mins but ah better than nothing . Cos initally I supposed to attend a family lunch function this Sat afternoon which will be taking place at Raffles Marina Club but with a stroke of luck , my dad told me this morning it was cancelled cos my relative said that the food that the restaurant served's not on par to their standard .

Well fine with me cos at least now I don't need to make any excuses to go for their gig this Sat haha & with my mum going to Genting tonight with her friends til Sun night , I will be the mistress of the house once again :)

Cos this Sat's gig will be quite short , I was joking with Dan as to whether can I do a song request via MSN heh heh . I requested for Teenage Queen . I was kidding about the issue of course but I just told him to put up a good show for everyone this coming Sat ! & yes he still owe me a b'day pressie !

I thought of this totally random & outta the blue topic on my way back home today . That's to wear make up aka slap in a slang form of describing it .

I don't wear make up . Rather I very seldom wear it . If I do , it's just basic eyeshadow & mascara . Ok simply put , I'm a makeup idiot . I don't even know how to choose the right shade of foundation , use eyeshadow & mascard the right way & I definitely don't look like should I start wearing black eyeliner & looking totally gothic just like Mika Nakashima's latest look that she's sporting these days . In fact I don't think I can carry that kinda look as much as I like & adore it.

So probably 1 of my new year resolutions for this year is start learning how to wear make up . Or rather try to wear make up . I'm the kinda person who hates to wear too much slap on my face especially since I have sensitive skin or at most I will self taught myself how to wear it right .

It might be fun to experiment with different colours & I love mascara . Somemore I might come out to the working world real soon & I think it's important to make a 1st impression with people instead of showing up to work with a bare face , as white as snow .

Should all this self taught stuff on makeup backfired , I should probably get someone to help me on this . How about my mum for starters on advice & all ? Anyone mind helping me in this strange request ?

Left school or should I say Tiong Bahru Plaza around 7.30pm or so cos I had so many things to do it's not funny & the strange bit was that when I reached Bukit Batok MRT , I bumped into my mum ! We took the same MRT but we were at different carriages so it was a bit weird .

Dan SMS'd me in the afternoon while I was having Accounts & his friend didn't had any luck in snagging a spare ticket for me & was apologetic about the whole issue. I SMS'd him back telling him that he doesn't need to feel bad about it cos I was about to tell him that I can't go for Muse's gig as much as I like to & I already stated clearly yesterday on the numerous reasons I listed down . Anyway that's ok , I told him to enjoy the gig with his friends & that I'm OK with not going to see Muse.

I been listening to Blackholes & Relevations non stop since yesterday & I really like it , especially the guitar riffs of some of the songs on there , fanastic !

Received a surprise & another belated b'day pressie from Jenny . She sent me a mini jewellery box & a very nice card aww . Got that in the mail eariler + Linda's mail as well but too bad the box's not big enough for me to stuff all my jewellery in . At most I only can store my necklace , pendants & bracelets haha but still Jenny I really really appericate you sending me somemore pressies , you shouldn't have lah :) & I promised you that you will expect a big & I mean really BIG pressie coming from me later on this month !

& this piece of news has probably just made my day super big time . McFly's 4th single has been confirmed to be the fanastic & awesome Transylvania !!!

YES YES YES I'm SO happy that's gonna be released as a single next month on 26th Feb . I really can't wait for the video to be out like NOW !

Bought Muse's Black Holes & Revelations and also Ayumi Hamasaki's 3rd album Duty at HMV eariler . Duty was the last copy on sale on the rack so I thought I better laid my hands on it before anything else happened.

Duty's Ayumi's highest selling album to date & it also contains her best lyrical work/song SEASONS & SEASONS's gorgeous & so nice .

At Dan's recommendation , I went to purchase Muse . Starting to like their music especially Supermassive Black Hole . Didn't like that song initally but now after a few listens , it grows on me . Their 3rd single Knights Of Cydonia's fanastic & sounds like nothing I heard at all & let's not forget it about the gorgeous Starlight.

I probably do a review or so for both albums in days to come in my music blog depending whether I have the time & I need some time to listen to both CDs throughly before I can pen my opinions about it but unfortunately & sad to say , I will not be attending Muse's concert tomorrow night which will be held at Fort Canning Park despite Dan saying that he might try to get a spare ticket for me .

There're many reasons as to why I'm not going for Muse's concert even though I haven't told Dan yet & here goes . It's a school day for me tomorrow , Muse's concert will last probably about 2 hours ++ . I don't have transport back home & no donkey clue as to how to make my way to Fort Canning Park.

& on Wed , I have lessons in the morning aka I have to get up at 6.30am & most importantly , I'm not familiar with Muse's music & only recently know their stuff despite them being in the music business since '94 so yeah my reasons are valid & logical . At most I enjoy Blackholes & Relevations then & yes they're fanastic live I have to agree after seeing a clip of them performing Starlight live at last year's MTV Europe Awards.

But that's ok , besides I have lots of work to do so whether I like it or not , I have to say no this time round but there's a possibility that I might be catching Dan & the rest this Sat at Ngee Ann poly's openhouse cos they're performing at 3.30pm but I'm still not sure whether I can go for it but chances of me going to see them perform , the 1st gig in the brand new year's is quite high.

Received a belated new year/xmas card from Heekyung in the mail today , so nice of her to do that & I managed to find out how much the small box of Godiva chocolates cost in that the one that Lunarin gave me on my b'day . The cost ? S$50 for 14 pieces of chocolates !

Wah my eyes were like goldfish eariler when I saw the price tag at the Citylink Mall outlet :O

Yesterday , my cousin Jonathan his baby son turned 1 month old so I went to his house where he catered for dinner . Initally I didn't want to go cos I had work to do but after Miss Tong taught me Maths , I couldn't be bothered about other things & just want to slack like a pig haha

& I had a rather long yet interesting chat with Jonathan's younger sis' husband Jeffery . He worked as a legal conseul in a bank so I was asking him how & what usually lawyers like himself does & it's very interesting cos I mean I myself have some lawyer friends so I was curious in finding out the different types of lawyers out there in the working world & what they do for a living , how much they earn on a typical basis & etc .

& this year will be Jeffery's 10th year in working as a legal conseul but too bad he wouldn't get any recongistion medal/award or something . Probably in 10 years's time or so then yes haha

He was also narrating some things to me & Hui Li about his honeymoon to Japan & haha it was so funny . He really can joke in a good way . Among which was that he & my cousin Jasmine was staying at this haunted spooky hostel in the forest of Mt Fuji , the kind where it's kinda run down like those old secondary schools or bulidings .

I don't know whether to laugh or be frightened when Jeffery was telling me all this . Poor thing & this folks , wasn't in their iternary at all ! He paid like S$1600+ each for the both of them & the food that was served during their trip was crap . He joked that he can get better food in Takashimaya & that whatever it was served , if it's not very salty , it will be very oily . I thought you only get such stuff if you're in China or Taiwan but oh dear , so much for a memorable honeymoon for all the wrong reasons !

Initally I didn't had a good impression of Jeffery when I 1st got to know him cos he got that kinda face that you wanna smack real hard , a bit cocky like & all but now things are different . I can get along with him which's all good & haha just like Dan , he doesn't look like his age at all .

In fact he eariler told me that he will be 38 this year , I was damn shocked cos he looked like in his early 30's to me . Just like Dan too . Man it's not fair how come these guys that I know , don't look like their age at all ? did they discovered the fountain of youth or something ???

I want to say happy happy b'day to the drummer of Lunarin , Eng Teck or ET as I always call him . Wow today's his b'day & sad to say that he had to spend the whole day on his b'day working but I'm sure he will celebrate with style during the weekend ! Have a great time on your special day ET even though this means that you're officially old again haha

Insane , I barely survived the 1st week of my 2nd semester & you imagine it's only the 1st week , not 10th week or something & yet I'm really burnt out emotionally/physically/mentally . At this rate my health's starting to take a toll on me & I honestly wonder whether will I be fit enough to juggle my double life at this rate & not to mention , I did pondered eariler if this keeps going on , so much so that I have to cancel my plans to attend both Electrico & The Observatory's concerts during March !!

I really hope that wouldn't happen cos I really burnt a big hole in my pocket in purchasing tickets for both bands's so I wouldn't want to throw away my $ just like that now the drain but see how things goes.

I need to slow things down cos my brain's numb now . I can't think properly at times & I find myself spacing out from time to time which's really scary . I just hope that whatever shit that I"m going though now & will go though in the weeks to come , I will find solace in music .

Very tired & plain exhausted mentally/physically . Was raining like crazy practically almost the whole day . + me being a smart aleck of sorts , decided to head to Thomson Road's WYCS Buliding to claim my S$100 Nike voucher despite my mum telling me that I can collect it next week cos the due date for collection's end of the month but I'm stubborn so didn't listened to her.

Took 2 buses to Thomson Road . Basket made a mistake on my part & as a result I reached the place 1 hour ++ later aka only about 1/2 hour or so to spare before I start school at 1.30pm . Eventually had to take a cab to school . Luckily I wasn't late . In fact my Eng lecturer came late haha

Before that was listening to Livonia's EP & LP . In fact I listened to them yesterday night as well & not bad , I like some of the melodies of some songs on both albums in fact !

I realised that this semester will be much much hectic as compared to my 1st semester . This week's only the 1st week since I resumed Uni & what happened ? a whole barrage of info came charging at me . As to which dates certain quizes/mid term exams/final exams will be held .

It would be better if the 1st week were to be reserved for orientation seeing that now it's 3 intakes worth of students combined into 1 intake & then as a result , May '06 intake has been separated like iterally so I haven't got the chance to know the Jan & Aug '06 that well which's quite a pity.

I said before & I will say it again , I detest Eng ! Especially for this semester as I have to do a major big report for submission & presentation . I don't mind presentation at all but fuck , doing up a report ? I never done it before . My lecturer handed me more details about the do & don't's about doing up 1 & in 2 weeks time , I have to submit a brief outline & my topic of choice for this & she has to agree on the topic before giving me the green light.

My mum said eariler that I'm just stressing myself out . Yeah probably so cos I mean for all 4 subjects , the lecturers gave everyone on the 1st lesson itself like when are the quizes/tests/exams will be held so I'm over stuffed with info so I should take a big deep breath or 2 & try to relax if possible.

She & Dan said the same thing in that just try to do my best in Uni . I don't need to be top overall but just get decent passing grades which's good enough !

Met up with Dila before I reached home . So nice to see her , she passed me my belated b'day pressie & a note which unfortunately has been soaked so some of the words that she wrote I was unable to read them but thanks anyway Dila , I loved the scented candle & Su-H , thanks for the lovely b'day card & note too !

These made my day despite having a shitty Thurs & can you imagine , I never wore a belt before ? I have to keep pulling up my jeans cos they were fucking loose & just now my mum taught me how to wear 1 cos if I were to alter it , it's damn leceh . Chey I didn't know wearing a belt's so simple -.-

Wow what better way to celebrate my 20th b'day than to .... only have lessons in the morning haha !

Nah I'm just playing but oh man I myself can't believe that I'm officially 20 today ! Yup no more being 19 anymore so should I be more specific , I don't have a '1' in front of my age anymore . Instead it's a '2' in front now which will be permanent for the next 10 years after I turn 30 in 2017 then :) .

Before I go on further , I want to say a happy b'day shoutout to my M'sian friend June who also turned 20 today & also to Zoe Tay as well ! Yup she also shared the same b'day as me . How cool's that ?

Inital plans for today or should I say tonight was that everyone go out for dinner to celebrate my 20th b'day but unfortunately Hui Li was sick big time since Mon so plans had to be shelved & so this will be taking place instead over the weekends . Better lah cos everyone has his/her own things to do during the weekdays . Somemore I have homework to do so might as well !

I said in the beginning of my entry that I celebrated my 20th b'day in that I only had lessons in the morning . Yup that's right but in a way I was 1/2 joking . Let me narrate what I did exactly after school ended .

I went back home after school ended at noon , I put all my things down as there were really heavy for me to carry around & besides what better way to 'celebrate' my b'day with Daniel ! Well sorta . He actually asked me whether yesterday I would like to meet up with him but cos I was almost 1/2 dead when school ended yesterday afternoon , I told him today's better !

Surprisely I reached home almost 40-45 mins later which was considered quite fast . I came back , put my things down , had a shower & then read the papers . Rain was on the front cover of Life :)

I left the house at 2.15pm cos it will take a while before I reached my destination where Dan works . Haha the funny thing's that now whenever I take 75 , I always keep a lookout where Amanda stays . Her house's very nice , hopefully she will invite me to her crib someday !

I reached Dan's workplace about 1 hour later & when I got there , I SMS'd him in that I have arrived & in due time he came downstairs & yup as always it's nice to see him once again in that I can dubbed him as my older brother now :)

Before we went to get some coffee , he went to his car & took something from his car boot . Or was it inside his car ? That something turned out to be my post xmas post new year pressie from Dan woo hoo

After that , we made a beeline to the nearest coffee shop that's located around his workplace. Had to walk a fair distance though.

Sat at 1 corner inside the coffee shop . Er actually we sat quite near the roadside cos it was quite crowded eariler . I had a cup of Teh O while Dan got himself a cup of ice lemon tea & then I proceeded in telling Dan that I'm officially older today & hahaha he shot me a blank look in that he forgot in a way that today's my b'day & started swearing hee . He thought it was tomorrow though oops.

But it's ok lah , at least he wished me happy b'day not once but thrice & besides it's alright for me & no I wasn't angry with him lah . Not long after I asked him whether can I opened up my post xmas post new year pressie & I got not 1 but 2 bags from Dan aha in which he bought both of them when he was on vacation last month.

I like them , they're really nice & it's probably about time that I should change the current bag that I'm using so yup thanks a lot dude & yes Dan , a girl can never have enough bags haha . Funny though just last week or so , I just threw out so many old bags outta my room but of course I wouldn't be throwing the bags that Dan gave me !

That's not the only thing Dan gave me though . He also gave me his old band Livonia's EP & LP somemore wahaha . I just listened to Livonia's EP Zerofeel & at the midst of listening to their LP Triple Grande Skinny Latte & from what I heard so far , it's nice & haha what I saw in the CD sleeve of Zerofeel made me laughed cos his email & mailing addresses were on it . So weird , I wonder what's doing in there . I should probably ask him the next time I see him then & can distinctively heard his vocals in both albums . In Livonia , he does backing vocals & plays lead guitar . His voice's not bad lah hee & was a bit sore that Backseat Star wasn't in the tracklisting of either albums leh

Now he only plays lead guitar & leaves the task of backing vocals to Will & Des heh heh

& what else to bitch with Dan with nothing other than schoolwork ! He asked me how things are going for me so far & I told him that even though today's only my 3rd day back to school , I'm already dying haha . I did brought along my Eng 2 binded notes & let him see what exactly am I doing for Eng this semester & also sought his advice on the damn report that I have to come up with , idea , topic , details & the works .

So far I don't have any further details as to expectations of the report that I have to do for Eng but I'm sure & hopefully by tomorrow my lecturer will let me know & I will definitely tell Dan all these by email . I never done a major big report before . In fact the compositions that I did in Pri/Sec school were terrible , I always getting barely passed or failed grades so yeah a bit intimidating & scared but Dan said that he can help me & can give me his 2nd sense worth on it .

I swopped another copy that I bought of Hip City yesterday at That CD Shop with him eariler with the last pre autographed copy that he got in his hands & was telling him that it was the last copy in the shop & that it cost me S$22.90 , even more expensive than what HMV's selling man ! Nuts , even the 1st album was selling the same price at That CD Shop too sheesh . Jokingly said that another big hole of my pocket has been burnt but that's ok , it's all for a good cause :)

I did asked him what exactly he did when he went on vacation last month & I know that he complained about the budget terminal & the budget airline that he took . For a moment I thought he took S'pore Airlines leh but he didn't but oh man he was telling me so many terrible things about Budget Terminal . Surprisely he didn't bitch that much about the budget airline that he took but he said that it's the 1st & last time he's taking it whee

Dan asked me how did Lunarin's gig went at Stasis9 & I said it was great even though the sound went off key . Linda , cheer up & don't be so depressed about it . You guys put up a great show & I mean it !

He was saying that he actually came early to check out other bands whom were playing in the afternoon & he came around 3pm++ in which unfortunately by the time he came , I was at Raffles City I remembered . He commented some bands were good while others were just plain bad . He did told me who yeah but I'm not gonna review the names that he said & that a lucky new band might probably open for Electrico in their upcoming Live In New Wave concert ! Wow that sounds neat & more details will definitely be posted up in due time.

Was weird cos way back then , Livonia among many other bands such as Fuzzbox , graced the very 1st Stasis1 so sorta like deja vu for Dan & hahaha he was narrating to me that the most rock star thing he ever did was that on the actual day that Stasis1 was held , Livonia was supposed to perform but for some reason , he was in Aust for holiday I think & when he came back , it was just hours away before he was due to play at Stasis1 , his flight was delayed & what he did ?

He called his parents , asked them to come & fetch him at the airport together with his gear in his parents's car & even better , called the organisers of Stasis1 to delay their performance & that to buy some time hahaha . Wah I didn't know rock stars can do such things at all but must have feel shiok to able to do such a thing . Well duh Dan's a rock star in the 1st place mah !

& yup I did told him that I requested for Hello yesterday on 987FM saying that I SMS'd in my request in dedicating the song to myself cos I think no 1 would even bothered to celebrate my b'day & yes my request was read out on air yesterday yay

We also talked about the whole S$11.90 CD issue going on . I was wondering why some CDs that Universal Music S'pore is selling for S$11.90 instead of of a usual & more normal price you would pay for a CD . The weird thing's that most of the CDs are manfactured in S'pore so yeah was asking Dan how come it's like that . Even though I did read an article about this which was published last month in ST , I just skimmed though didn't paid much attention to the main details.

Around this time , I saw a parking summon auntie walking towards my direction & I told Dan that he better go back to his car & put a parking coupon & check cos I don't want him to get summoned again . He got kena a few times so for today I don't want him to be suai & get caught once again . Phew when he came back , he said that the parking coupon was about to expire so heng ah , no need to get fined again ... for now !

I know he's gonna see Muse next Tue & aww he's so sweet . He said that should he's able to get a free & spare ticket , he asked me whether will I want it or not :) I thought it's damn nice for him to do such a thing for me but unfortunately I'm not familiar with Muse's music but I like Starlight from their latest album.

I told him see how cos next Tue I will finish school at 4.30pm so at the moment I'm not very sure whether would I want to attend Muse's gig . Dan said that Muse are damn good live & that I should not missed this opportunity to catch them live in performance as it's like a once in a lifetime chance for Muse to stop by S'pore for a concert . I'm still deciding but both of us will confirm about this when the date draws nearer.

But then I asked him how am I gonna make my way to Fort Canning Park haha so probably best decision's to take a cab . Should he managed to snag the spare ticket for me & I told him that I want to go , he better send me back home after that ahaha

You know at the rate that Dan's raving about Muse , I should ask him to shut up but nah I'm just joking !

Was moaning to him that I'm officially old & that it still haven't sunk into my head that I'm no longer 19 anymore & that I'm already 20 . He's very bad man , asked me whether I want to switch places with him & see whether if it's better or not .

Of course it's not lah dude so yeah I should probably stop complaining to him about the whole age issue . At least I can say that I'm 20 & not early 20s as what he put hee hee . For him it's worst , cannot put 30 , must put early 30s now ahaha but he did said that it wouldn't be long before I hit 21 & that I can enter Genting's casinos legally in no time haha

I said that my mum might be heading to Genting once again this month & he was giving me the face in that he asked me I'm not sian of going to Genting time & time again ?! Actually it's my family that's always going almost practically like a monthly basis . For me I can't or else I will go insane . He even said that I should suggest to my mum to go elsewhere for a change , next time if we want to plan for vacation . Sounds like a good idea to me !

But yeah at the end of the day I'm still grateful to all the great sound advice he dished out to me all this while . At 1st it was weird communicating with him but now it's 2nd nature & eariler I said that this new 2nd semester will be tougher . He just told me not to worry so much & just continue to do my best in whichever way I can :) cos as time goes by , each semester will be more & more tougher.

I was surprised when he told me in future when I come out to work , my future employees will look at my grades & not just the degree that I obtained so gee I better buckle up now if that's the case.

My inital plan after meeting up with Dan , I wanted to go home but who knew that the bracelet that I bought last Sat from Perlini broke this morning ! Well actually a heart piece from my bracelet came off so I went back to Raffles City to get it fixed at the end.

After I left his workplace , was on the MRT , SMS'ing him here & there & haha he told me that I will be getting a belated b'day pressie the next time I see him wahaha so techincally he still owe me something hurrah & aww some of the things he said to me were really sweet & made my day big time so once again thanks bro !

When I got back home Dan even bothered to leave me a message on MySpace too ! I saw it eariler & aww love what he wrote , thanks thanks thanks . Wah how many thanks have I said to him already man ?

Compared to last year , this year my b'day celebrations of sorts is a hell lot better that's for sure . At least I get more pressies & well wishes from people haha & yup I did managed to do up my new year resolution list after all . Only thing's that I will not be posting it up but I see whether is it possible to accomplish them.

So what exactly did I got for my b'day ? let me see whether I can recap everything or not :

Man so tired out from today's string of lecturers . It's not funny when you have lessons in the morning & afternoon . It's worst when you have to carry ass thick heavy stack of binded notes + heavy textbook to school . For a moment I thought my back was about to break into 1/2 ! Luckily that didn't happened *touchwood* & now both of my arms are aching big time .

For a change today I took 75 to school & it was terrible , I should have stick to 184 instead ! The traffic was bad in the morning & worst of all I didn't had a place to sit in the bus & I only arrived at Outram MRT station barely almost 1 hour later ! So that probably wasn't such a good idea to take a different bus to school . I should just stick to take 184 if that's the case !

I realised that going to school takes a much longer time for me to get there unlike coming back home where I only had to spend about 20 mins ++ or so in taking MRT to Jurong East MRT station & then changed to Bukit Batok MRT station . Some people already started to complain that the new campus sucks & Toa Payoh HDB Hub was of a much better choice .

I supposed it's too early to say & judge whether does the new campus really suck or not . Same thing goes for new lecturers , too early to say & conclude so & so's better or worst than the previous batch of lecturers that used to teach me in 1st semester so we'll see !

Maybe tomorrow I will post my supposedly & hopefully do-able list of new year resolutions that I would love to fufil this year so I think I will spend some time to think about it & wah I can't believe it , today's my last day of being 19 . In due time , I will not have a '1' in front of my age anymore . In comes '2' :O & just like a tattoo , that will become permanent . Well at least for the next 10 years !

So I resumed school again today . Nothing special to talk about with the exception that instead of going to Toa Payoh HDB Hub for lessons , I go to the new campus to attend Uni now which's located behind Tiong Bahru Plaza.

The premises's not exactly new in the 1st place cos before that , Delta Sec School occupied the buildings & they haven't finished construction in the new campus yet ! Apparently everything will be all settled & done with by end of Jan . But at least now I have a decent place to attend lessons unlike what happened in my 1st semester.

But now at least the admin people are smart in that they binded my new course notes unlike in my 1st semester where they used ring files which were so bulky but still ugh to carry all the new course notes + a new Maths textbook in which I will foresee that it will gonna be another white elephant = madness chaos .

This time , my previous class had been spilt up into 3 different groups for Eng while 2 different groups for the rest of the subjects cos the Jan '06 , May '06 & Aug '06 intakes of students have all been combined together.

The new campus's pretty alright . At least it's big but too bad there wasn't any canteen but hopefully that will change in time to come.

Already 1st lesson for today has to be Eng of all subjects & my new Eng lecturer said that we have to present & do up a report by the end of the semester sheesh . So much for returning back to school with a big bang . Ya big bang of the wrong kind !

Luckily I was dismissed at 3.30pm instead of 4.30pm for today cos it's the 1st day of school after all ! So I made my way to Popular to buy a new stack of lecturer pads & I took MRT to Dobby Ghaut MRT station as I need to stop by MTV Asia's office to pick up something that I won .

Someone from MTV Asia called me last Fri saying that I won an autographed Corrinne May's The Gift CD in a contest that I took part on their website , as part of Pop Inc. so I thought cool at least I won something in a contest that I took part just for fun haha but at least after I got that over & done with , I took a cab home as it was nearly impossible for me to lug back everything should I took a bus back .

At least for once , today I didn't really experienced any Mon blues of sorts.

1st of all I want to say a very happy belated b'day to Mr Leonard Soosay ! Yup his b'day was yesterday & happy happy happy b'day ! Leo , hope you will continue to do more good in the local music scene in which I know you will !

So anyway yesterday Stasis9 took place & believe it or not , things actually got to a really funny start in that initally I thought Lunarin were supposed to perform at Stasis9 at 2pm in which the event was taking place at The Arts House (TAH) that's located at 1 Old Parliament Lane . In case you know or don't know , TAH used to be the Old Parliament House .

I made my way to TAH in the afternoon . I reached there probably around 1.30pm or so & since I had some time before the gig supposedly to start , I went snopping around TAH & it's a very nice place filled with rich history & cultural facts about S'pore . Think of it as a mini museum of sorts .

Stasis9 was held at Playden which's a small section being allocated at TAH & it was located on Level 2 of TAH . When I got there , with my pre sale ticket that I bought in hand , I saw the schedule being pasted outside Playden & guess what I saw ? Lunarin's gonna be playing at 8pm instead of 2pm !!! :O

The timings can change depending on the circumstances . In actual fact , Lunarin almost weren't able to perform yesterday cos something cropped up at the 11th hour on Fri night in which Linda told me on MSN . I didn't really know it was all about til I found it about myself from ET yesterday night but thank goodness things got sorted out & that they were able to perform after all :)

After I saw the schedule , I called my mum asking her what I should do seeing that Lunarin wouldn't be performing til 8pm ++ at night . She suggested that I come back home 1st & then I come out later on again so I thought ok lor but not before Linda SMS'd me telling me about tonight gig's details.

I walked all the way back to Raffles City in which I went to buy more jewellery from Perlini Silver & besides I have a 50% b'day discount that they sent me so I thought why not . I used that to buy a gorgeous hearts bracelet .

Aside from that , I also bought another pair of stardust heart earrings & a heart pendant as Perlini were having a fab promotion that's currently going on til end of the month . In that 30% off all rings & pendants that they're having on sale . The heart pendant was lovely so I couldn't say no haha . I have an obsession with hearts so ...

Oh I almost forgot , before I went back home , I bought tickets to see The Observatory at Raffles City's Sistic outlet . They posted somemore tracks from their 2 albums in which their 3rd album's scheduled to hit stores somewhere in March .

I heard the new tracks just now on their MySpace & they sounded really good . Planning to get their 2 albums in order for me to polish up on my knowledge about them , music wise . Dan said that they're damn good live so hope I will have a good time on 25th March then !

Also I read that whenever The Observatory staged concerts & performances , they always sell out everything so that's something to say about !

I came back around 4.30pm , rested a bit . Went onto the net to edit some things online & then watched American Dragon Jake Long & The Emperor's New School . Wow has been a while since I saw The Emperor's New School if you ask me .

My mum asked me how I make my way to TAH & then I said I took 184 , followed by taking MRT all the way to City Hall & then walk from there to TAH . She suggested I take 961 instead as it will stop at a junction of where the Supreme Court was located at . She was right , it was much much faster & nearer !

Off I went out again which means that I skipped going back to my paternal relatives's house for dinner but that's ok . Anyway the food that they served is always the same 'ol same 'ol so I gladly can give that a miss !

I reached TAH around 7.30pm & wow didn't realised the place was so beautiful at night . Even the Supreme Court was all lighted up with lights & the view was really breathtaking from far. Tim then SMS'd me saying that they were making their way back to TAH from Funan's TCC . Man they sure love TCC , even I myself don't frequent such posh coffee places that frequently !

& this time I brought along my mum's jacket cos eariler when I was there , I felt the place was a bit cold for me.

I went up the stairs of TAH to inside Playden & the place was very dark . I can't even see the faces of the people who came to see the selected local bands who were performing at Stasis9 . Surprisely the turnout was quite strong seeing that the papers didn't did any publicity about Stasis9 as it's quite a low key event . Probably it's due to world of mouth & then some which led people to come to TAH to come witness the event .

Around this time , The Oslo Castaways were still performing & Lunarin's set wouldn't begin til about 8.40pm ++ . & here comes the strange part in that I was able to somehow sense that they all will be outside of Playden so I went outside & sure enough I was right !

Was so nice to see everyone again as they were about to go backstage to get ready with their gear & everything . I met ET's girlfriend Chris for the 1st time & she's a nice lady . They all shook hands with me wishing me happy new year & that's not all !

ET was the only 1 who wished me an early happy b'day aww :) & he gave me a box of Godiva chocolates :O To remember my b'day is great but to give me something so expensive as Godiva chocolates , wah I'm damn honoured big time aha

& no I haven't tried Godiva chocolates yet ! They're so expensive & here & then whenever I passed by any Godiva stores which are located at Takashimaya , Citylink Mall & Changi Airport , the prices are sky rocket crazy but oh man thanks a lot you guys :)

After we chatted for a while , everyone except me went backstage to get ready while I went onto buying their merchanise cos I want to give them away as b'day pressies for my friends in time to come . At this rate I'm going broke , very very BROKE but all for a good cause as usual :)

I myself bought another Ligeia T shirt but this time in white . I already have 1 in black though which I bought last year at Library@Orchard heh

Surprisely even though Playden was extremely dark inside , Tim & Chris were able to find me quite easily ! & around this time The Oslo Castaways were about to wrap things up . They're pretty good & there're 4 members in the band in that there's only 1 girl in the group who plays the keyboards . Unlike Electrico who have 2 lead guitarists , they only have 1 lead guitarist who doubled up as lead singer , just like Dave.

According to schedule , this's the time when they were about to show an exclusive preview of Zo Gang , a short movie directed by Jacen Tan who's a dear friend of Lunarin in that he helped composed the opening of their song in The Chrysalis which's track no1 Eclipse . He also helped in directing the music video of their debut single Silverpiece as well.

Zo Gang is about 8-10 mins long & haha it was so hilarious , I couldn't stop laughing while watching it . Lots of slap stick comedy & humor going on in Zo Gang pepped with Singlish , Chinese , Hokkien & censored swear words . They shouldn't have censored the swear words though . At this time quite a lot of people in the audience were laughing a lot cos whatever that was said about in Zo Gang , I think practically everyone agrees with what Jacen said.

& among a few people who made a cameo in Zo Gang was Linda as a Cho Bu Buskler as what it was put at the credits at the end of the movie hur hur which's true . I was a bit surprised when I saw Linda in the movie & that everyone , some people made wolf whistles when that came on screen.

I'm not sure you can view Zo Gang online just as yet but you can probably try www.hosaywood.com & yeah the website name's very funny & cute . You also can watch another short movie that Jacen directed which's Zo Peng . I saw that a while back & yeah it's good too . While you're at there , go ahead & watch Lunarin's Silverpiece video too.

After Zo Gang was screened , Lunarin came onstage to set up their gear & get everything in place . Cos of the fact that they didn't do a proper soundcheck , they did 1 on the spot & unlike their previous performances that I attended where I stand , this time round , I sat with Tim & Chris . We were all right in front of Lunarin like barely almost a few cm away from the guys !

& then it was time to rock things up with Lunarin's music . They kicked things off with a fanastic rocking redition of Absolution which was followed by Ligeia , Medusa , Ariel . I realised the volume was twice as loud when they launched into Ariel.

However 1/2 way when Ligeia was being played , Linda's bass guitar started to went off key & it sounded weird in that her tunner was malfunctioning . After they did Ligeia , Y went to try to fix the problem . When Y was doing that , Linda talked to the crowd in that they 1st graced Stasis1 way back then when they were still known as Fuzzbox & they graced the event when they were only 19.

She even said that she like to surround herself with young people which make her feel young haha but wow it has been a long time since Stasis1 if you ask me . Livonia also graced Stasis1 way back then & it was held at The Substation Garden.

After Y managed to solve the problem in a way or 2 , like what I said eariler , launched into Medusa , Ariel & they closed their set with Silverpiece & The Tower . Strangely they didn't do Dry . Was kinda hoping that will be done but ah well & no they didn't do any new songs yesterday night even though they did a new one MIDAS at LIME Sonic Bang . MIDAS was fab !

During their performance , I was looking at Linda's Thunderbird upclose which's a tough bad ass looking bass guitar & ET was furiously banging on the drums . Y strangely looked stoned at times when he was playing his lead guitar haha . I think if you were to put him & Dan together in a room , you can definitely see the way both guys play , completely different like chalk & cheese !

So their songlist for yesterday night was :

1) Absolution ( love the song the very 1st moment I heard it . Sounded more rockin when it's done live ! )

4) Ariel (this was done 2-3 times even more louder than the CD version)

After their set was done , we 3 went backstage to help Linda & the guys to pack up & leave TAH . Some were asking where to go for makan & after that , they wanted to head somewhere else for drinks til late at night . I did joined them for makan (in which I didn't ate anything eventually) but not the after party cos I wanted to go back home.

& yay this time ET drives ! He just got his license a while back & he borrowed his dad's old car so now no need for everyone & their gear to be all packed into Linda's car haha . & so funny , all his life ET has been taking cabs from home to office , office to court , court to office & vice versa so I supposed it's kinda a rude shock for him now & it was so weird in that he followed Linda at the back like he's a stalker or something ! but I'm sure he will get used to these in no time . Well he has to !

Everyone eventually decided to head to go to some coffee shop at Circular Road but not before I hitched a ride in Linda's car & she wanted to pick up her boyfriend Johnson who's working at Ocean Building . Poor thing , even weekends Johnson even has to work !

& the 1st reaction when I saw Johnson ? how come he was so dressed down in T shirts , shorts , flip flops & the works hahaha . I was expecting that he would be all suited up like what laywers usually wear to work but it's the weekend so he can dress down that much lah but ah he's a very nice & good looking chap :) Very friendly & I can communicate with him real easily . Wah , if Linda's reading this hor , she better treat me to coffee someday for saying such things about her boyfriend mwahaha

But no lah , I'm serious on what I said about Johnson & just like Dan , he doesn't look like his age at all heh heh . Had I not known from Linda about his age , I would have thought that Johnson's in his early 20s !

Johnson also drives so this time he took over the sterling wheel from Linda & Circular Road there , there was an open car park field but couldn't find any parking lot so went to Riverwalk's multi story car park . ET was still behind Linda's car cos he himself also not familar with the place . Luckily he didn't get lost but funny enough he didn't parked his car at the same level as Johnson did.

Went & met everyone outside the building & proceeded to cross the zebra crossing to where the coffee shop was located at & some members from The Love Experiment were already there , eating .

All except ET & Chris went onto ordering a plate of BBQ stringray & sambal sotong rice set . I didn't ate anything cos I wasn't hungry but I did ordered a can of Coke Light . Was asking ET what exactly happened at Y's workplace on Friday night which almost led them in not able to perform at Stasis9 .

Was pretty gross when ET & Chris told me cos Chris sorta works in the same place as Y so eee my hair stood when they were narrating to me the details . Johnson has the new Sony Ericsson 850i walkman phone & Y was fiddling with it cos they wanted to test some features on his phone . Damn at least Johnson's phone has some value lor unlike my cheap ayam brand zero $ Motorola L6 phone !

haha 1 of the features on Johnson's phone was that he was able to distort pics & changed them depending on certain modes & all of the pics he used was Y haha . There was 1 of them being like all boxed up , alien like & the works . So cute & they had to pick on Y of all people bless

The rest also didn't had anything & then Tim suddenly realised that the merchanise bag & stuff were still at TAH ! Oops that wasn't good but luckily he remembered so after everyone left , me , Linda & Johnson drove back to TAH to pick the goods up .

As everyone wanted to go to some posh wine place at MacKenzie Road for somemore after drinks , I asked the both of them to drop me at some place so that I can probably take a cab back home in which I didn't . I still took the bus back home . I'm not someone who always takes cab from 1 place to another . I only take cabs when necessary.

When Linda went out to pick the merchanise bag , I talked to Johnson a bit more while we were waiting in Linda's car . I asked him about his line of work cos I'm interested as to what lawyers really does on a regular basis & it's pretty cool to hear what he said cos usually it's like oh you think it's glam to be a lawyer but in reality it's not & yes he knows Dan too . In fact Johnson known him way back in Law School & he even said that Dan was his senior . When he said that , he made it sound like Dan was really old leh heh heh

But before that LInda was telling Johnson that I'm a big Electrico fan . Aw she shouldn't have lah :) in reality I'm not , I just appericate their music & whatever they have been doing to help kick start & revived the local music scene so yeah... & oh we also talked about wine too ha !

Linda came back & haha ET was still behind her , so cute . Johnson proceeded to drive me to Raffles City where they dropped me off . Said my goodbyes to the both of them before giving Johnson another firm handshake , hope to know him a bit better in time to come !

& I also waved goodbye to everyone in ET's car . Poor thing everyone was like so crammed big time in his dad's old car but ah well.

Even though the day started a bit off key but I'm glad that things went well eventually . Til the next Luanrin gig & more misadventures then :)

Lunarin , thank you so much for remembering my b'day even though technically I'm going to be old AGAIN but still I really appericate the fact that you guys actually remember ! Also for the expensive Godiva chocolates , I don't deserve it really but it's a very nice lovely gesture coming from you guys . I haven't tried them yet but when I do , I will let you know how it taste like heh heh

Your performance at Stasis9 was great even though the sound system went a bit off key here & there but still I enjoyed myself very very much . Loved all the tracks that was done live , especially Absolution . Then next time folks !
